First of all, I needed a warning from someone regarding how good the margaritas are at this restaurant. I ordered the large to be brave and I felt pretty nice once I left the restaurant. During happy hour, all drinks are $3 off. There is a full drink menu to choose from with some interesting selections. Most drinks average about $6. The food menu was great as well. I love ceviche. This restaurant had a choice of two different ceviches. The one I ordered was nice and fresh with just the right amount of cilantro. We also ordered burritos that were loaded with meat and very tasty. The menu prices where about $8 to $15 per entree. The portions were great size and definitely worth the cost. We were seated right away. But then nobody waited on us. There were 6 waiters/waitresses standing doing NOTHING! They seated a person across from us, and took her order. They came and asked the table behind us if they needed anything. No one ever even came to take out drink order!!! After watching this for about 10 minutes, we got up and left. We met as a small group for dinner, our experience; 1) The restaurant did not smell clean, it was as though a "sour" cleaning cloth had been used to clean tables. 2) There was debris from previous diners left on the table. 3) Two tables were pushed together to facilitate the seating for 6, the table edges, where the tables joined, were uneven by over an inch resulting in two of our group having to balance their respective plates 4) The waitress did not deliver the food to the table, it was delivered by a non-English speaking person who couldn't understand when we complained that "I didn't order this". The food delivery person delivered all of the orders to the wrong person. Musical plates ensued. 5) I ordered Chile Rellenos with shredded beef. Big mistake. They were, by far, the worst I've ever had. 6) The Chile Rellenos were served with refried beans, at least that's what they were called. They were inedible. We walked up from the parking lot and sat down outside and had the most delicious meal! All three of us ordered steak quesadillas that were absolutely amazing!! Nice atmosphere. Queso was good. Our nachos were ok (we've had better, more flavorful elsewhere); Husbands carne asada was yummy and flavorful. Biggest reasons I gave 2 stars...flies were buzzing around us most of the time; we were shooing them away from our food (from appetizers through our main course). My bride and I went for an early dinner this evening at about 6pm. We were immediately seated indoors in deference to the warm evening. Warm chips and salsa were delivered almost immediately and were quickly followed by our drinks. Great start! A huge bowl of cheese dip with an order of warm flour came quickly to our table after ordering. The chicken chimichanga was huge and tasted phenomenal! Then we ordered my boyfriend got a steak quesadilla and the steak was wayyyyyy undercooked, I got the steak fajita and it was burnt and well over done. Our rice obviously wasn't made the same his was mushy and mine was made how it should be, refried beans was runny! Been going to this restaurant a few times now since our favorite Mexican restaurant changed management, prices and the food quality dropped. Thought this was our new fav...WRONG! ORDERED the Burrito Locos, it was cold. The waiter took it back, came back and said yes it was cold, they had stuck their finger in to see!!! So brought out another one, you could tell they had put it in the microwave, it was so hot! Eventually began to eat.....it had potatoes & carrots in it!!! WTH? I wish I could swear on this app because it would be appropriate for this review. I got their enchiladas verdes and swapped the chicken for cheese because I'm a vegetarian. When I say those were delicious I mean they really were. The enchiladas were typical American tasting nothing too amazing, but the verdes sauce. It tasted like I was back in Cancun, Mexico. It was extremely *freaking* similar and the most comparable taste wise that I've had back here in the US. I wish I asked for extra sauce because of how good it was. I have this review a 4 stars because it only came with two enchiladas but it was delicious. Yo! Yelp FTW! Headed to Daytona for an event on Sunday AM and before we made the drive back we said, a Mexican Lunch Must Happen. I whipped out Yelp faster than you could say... well, Yelp! There were only a few Mexican spots open on a Sunday that looked good so we narrowed it down to two and I chose this spot based on reviews + pics. From the 5 star rating, you can tell Yelp did us correct! What a fabulous lunch. We relaxed and ordered a margarita to start. The chips came out fresh and hot and the salsa was delicious. When the guac arrived, you knew it was legit as it looks like it was just sliced, so fresh. Such a large menu, but I was immediately drawn to the Margarita Chicken. Sounded light and delicious and that is exactly what it was: Tequila Marinated Chicken Breast, Grilled Onions, Cilantro, Mexican Rice, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo and Guacamole served with Flour Tortillas. I didn't even use the tortillas, I literally threw my face into the plate and scarfed. Ok, not literally but you get the point. Cleared that plate clean. Delicious. The service was on point, the ambiance was on point and the food + drinks, they delivered strong. The restaurant itself is quite nice but when we were there the staff was anything but pleasant. They seemed annoyed to even have to wait on us. We ordered drinks and they kept letting them go dry. Never offering to refill then when they did offer it was always a question as if they really didn't want to take the time to refill them. Terrible service. The food came out very bland. I have shrimp tacos and it was like eating a mushy taco without flavor. Visually it looked good but tasted bland. My husband and I went to La Fiesta mexican rest in Ormond beach. We charged our dinners. When we received our Visa bill, they charged us more than what our receipt showed. Our waitress, Ciara, added to the receipt after it was signed, and upped the amount by more than 10%! We talked to manager and he said he would look into it and call us back. This place was a new find to us, which we found here on yelp. The service was friendly, and what we saw of the inside of the restaurant was clean, though we did sit outside for our meal. Upon being seated we were brought a basket of freshly made chips, and salsa to munch on while we awaited our entrees. I can't recall what my plate was called, but it came with 2 enchiladas covered in verde sauce and cheese with rice, salad, guacamole, and a dollop of sour cream. I was starving and scarfed it down pretty quickly, but remember it looking, and tasting fresh. The kiddo ordered a taco and burrito, with the same sides, as did my friend. Both gobbled their plates up and we didn't really leave any left overs. For the 3 of us, we spent about $40 total before gratuity. I will make note that the salsa was very mild, and tasty. Well damn. My nice long review didn't save!! Food is good. Came here with my family for the 5th of May. Margaritas were good and we had no issues with our food. Burrito loco is huge, salsa is spicy and I loved it, kids liked their tacos, and I liked the Al Pastor tacos. Put the salsa on the Pastor tacos because they are a little dry. The abode pork was yum. Glad they don't overload their foods with cilantro. Hate cilantro, it taste like soap. Also, staff is friendly and place was clean. Wish our waiter understood that reaching inches from someone's face (mine) is rude. This location has a nest of ospreys on a light post so be careful where you park. read more

I visited this Restaurant today (July 5th, 2020) and had one of the WORST experience I ever had in a Restaurant. They sat me at a table and totally forgot about me there even though a waitress was constantly attending a table across from me, I could literally hear everything they discussed but yet she didn't even look in my direction. I was later approached at which time I got up and walked out. This La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant SUCKS. There's three other Mexican Restaurant in the vicinity which I've been to all of them but this one just SUCKS, I almost felt Racially Profiled while sitting there because everyone else was getting taking care of yet I just sat there without absolutely no one asking or reaching out to help. I arrived at this location with a large party in hopes of patronizing a local business. We arrive 10 min before their happy hour of a discounted rate off their premium margaritas end. The waitress got our table is no where to be found. She finally arrives 2 min after the 6pm time elapsed. The waitress proceeds to tell us that it's 3 min after and we can NO Longer get happy hour on those beverages. She proceeds to ask her manager if we can be accommodated since no one was at our table when we arrived... the manager looks at our table and tells her no .... she then walks past our table never acknowledges us despite our efforts to reslothe service hear is extremely POOR ....management is horrible ... customer service is beneath this location. Wife and I just moved to the area, this restaurant is close to our house so we figured we would get some take out. First off the order was wrong...called them up and they were nice, apologized and said come back we will make it right. So ok, we go back get the right food and go back home. Food is good, not great (which is why I give it 2 stars not 1). 3/4 of the way through dinner my wife finds the remains of a wire bread tie (just the wire no coating left) in her soft taco. So I'm thinking what if she ate one already what's that going to do to you? Anyway, call back the restaurant and speak to the manager to inform him of the incident so maybe he can check the pots of meat or sauce so other people don't ingest wire. He said very nonchalantly, we are busy and I do my best to make sure things don't happen... sorry! No offer to exchange the food, no refund, no free desert...nothing! Not even a "Hey come back and I will make sure your next experience is great" So needless to say our first (bad) experience will certainly be our last. The service in this place has gone down hill. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes without anyone visiting our table. Their were plenty of open seats too so they were not that busy. I finally got up and asked another server if they could find out who was taking care of us. She came back and said she would do it. Then some guy, who I thought was girl, came to our table to take the order. I asked if he was now our server and in a condescending way said no he was just helping out. First time here but so glad we stopped in. Started the meal with a tortilla soup, one of the best I've ever had. Also enjoyed the chipotle patron shrimp dinner. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, crisp and not at all rubbery like many places over cook them. We were here about 4PM so there were drink specials. Couldn't pass up a pitcher of 1800 margaritas for $15 (normally $23) and not at all a watered down version. Also had shredded beef flautas and the meet was not at all dry. Only downside was the numerous fruit flies or gnats that kept invading my wife's napkin for some reason. However she admits the food was worth the effort. read more
