We were looking for good tacos and the name of this place caught our eye. Parking is free and conveniently around the place. The servers were very nice as were the guys that brought us our food. We ordered Nachos - they were OK. Tacos were also ok. The place has a local feel. People seemed to know each other's names, which is pretty cool. This place is infested with cockroaches. One of the staff stood on one while the other got a napkin to pick it up after she killed it. They thought it was hilarious. I thought it was disgusting. Our last night on Vacay Spring Break 2025 at Ormond Beach. We started out for Jimmy Hula's but they didn't have salsa! This restaurant was so extremely laid back with some outside table service. We went inside and found a high top in the rear near the bar. Deacon ordered Sprite, Kayla Diet Coke and Saige & I ordered half / half Iced Tea and Saige a regular tea. The restaurant has very interesting artwork on the walls that has inspired Saige to deprecate in her Art Book. Saige wanted Chips & Salsa *which is a firey- heavy spiced Pepper salsa extremely thick like paste and very good! She also wanted Mozarrella Sticks. Deacon took the Steak Quesadilla with French fries. He absolutely LOVED! We had to slow him down because he was gobbling them down. Kayla went with a Large Over-Stuffed Burrito and I gladly chose the 3 Chicken Street Tacos with side of Black Beans and Rice!! The food is extremely amazing!!! Definitely going back without hesitation! Our waitress was SUPER AMAZING! She checked on us regularly! The chips and Queso Sauce Deacon got was extremely good. My friend and I really liked this place that we came twice before our vacation ended. My friend got the Street Tacos and I just got the chicken tenders this time (I got the Pulled chicken rice bowl last time, and it was eh but not bad). My friend really liked the street tacos, and I thought the tenders were alright, definitely needed the BBQ sauce. The best thing on their menu are their drinks! The server I had Victoria was incredibly helpful in assisting me on what drinks were the best for me. I told her I preferred drinks where you couldn't really taste the alcohol. She mentioned the White Gummy Bear shot and the Pink Starburst shot. Trust, both of those taste just as their name intended! She also mention Disappearing Island as a drink, which also tasted amazing. I also tried their Liquid Marijuana drink as well as their Upside Down Pinneaple Cake drink. Ordered the appetizer platter, Really enjoyed the queso on this ..honestly could've lived without the other two. I asked for the "Loaded Guac" but they brought out the original instead. Somehow ended up with a side of fresh jalapeños from the bar which was like soaked in tequila? Completely threw me off, was not prepared for it. The waitress said she grabbed them from the bar by accident... Few things came out incorrectly...which seemed to mainly be a back of house issue. The smash burger was my main reason for stopping by here..The bun on the Burger was pretty disappointing & stiff.. The Burger itself was pink in the middle (I prefer well done) sorta twisted my stomach. The waitress was very polite and apologetic, she was very on top of everything and checked on me routinely. We just ate at Tipsy Taco and it's "Taco Tuesday" night! My sister Tina invited me as she is a repeat customer, and this was my first time here. I must say I was impressed. This place was absolutely amazing. The food was nothing short of 5 stars. The tacos were better then South of the Border, any day. I didn't take any pictures because we ate it so fast there was nothing to see. The churro's and chocolate sauce with whipped cream was stunning. Hot, tasty, and worthy of a medal. The decor was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the $3 tacos were worth every penny. The owner Mike personally came over to our table and introduce himself and ensured we were satisfied customers, we were equally impressed with our server Tori who was everything you could want in a server. I really wanted to like this place and then used the restroom before I left. It's a bit of a dive. It's not like traditional restaurants where you get chips and salsa when you arrive, you have to order them. That is ok. They were good when ordered. I had the American beef burrito which was huge and I could only eat half of it. I had the blue margarita which was ok. My husband had the strawberry which he said was good, and my friend the mango which she said was not good. My son got the burger as he didn't find anything on the menu without added stuff that he didn't like. He said it was very dry. The pace is very divvy. The restrooms are in shambles and give the impression of being downright dirty. I'd give it a try if I were you, but nothing was so excellent we'd go back. read more

Back at Tipsy Taco before getting our Tan on at the beach. We sat outside like we always do and our server came out to take our drink orders, I got the liquid Mary Jane and we also got some sweet teas. When she came back we put our order in, I got the Carne Asada tacos and a order of chips and queso. The Tipsy Taco provided a night to remember as our final night in Ormond Beach. We went at about 7pm on a Monday evening for karaoke night. The karaoke was supposed to kick off at 8, but it started at 7:30 with just the BEST karaoke host we have ever experienced. He went around to all of the tables to encourage everyone to come up. He wasn't pushy at all, just funny and encouraging. He also sang himself and you can tell he is a musician. We ordered our food and I had a burrito bowl-definitely great that you can order them there and have it be of higher quality than the fast food places. Within the first 10 minutes of being there, we got our drinks that were fun and delicious (get the Liquid Marijuana) and we were approached by the manager to ask if we liked them. We also were approached by a table-side magician and the whole night was just straight up magic. We laughed so hard and sang until our voices got sore. The restaurant was filled with the coolest, most supportive people. What a great place! I'm not there frequently since I live in another state, but you can bet I will go back when I'm in town! read more

Im super picky about margaritas. I rarely order them because their a pre mix or full of sweet and sour. Their margaritas are hand made (lime juice, simple syrup, agave, top shelf tequila).
