It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the Mexican food is served piping hot with plenty to take home. I had a pollo loco, it was the special for the evening. Thinly sliced chicken breast, seasoned perfectly, grilled and topped with grilled onions and served with rice and beans. My husband had been craving steak for a few nights, so he had the T-bone steak topped with peppers, onions and tomatoes, it was beautifully cooked at a medium - medium rare, and he enjoyed it. But the highlight of the meal was the sopapillas, golden brown and topped with honey oh so yummy. Service was quick and the waiter answered all my questions with ease. read more

This is my go-to for great TexMex! Clean and festive atmosphere. Staff is always super friendly, food and drink are quality at a good price. Because it is so good, they are always busy. So don't mind a little wait, it's worth it! My favorite entrees include: Carnitas tacos, chicken fajita nachos, Bandera Special, Caldo de Pollo, and if you've got a big appetite, the Special Dinner. From the moment we walked in & the whole time we ate our food the staff stood in the dining room and stared at us it made me so uncomfortable I didn't even finish my food. I ordered the veggie fajitas no beans or rice ( they use lard for those that care). The veggies were oiled soaked and salty .. the guacamole was inedible. I ordered a half order of guacamole ( 3.99) it was about a ramikin amount.. The rest of my table had chicken nachos .. they said they were ok . I personally would avoid this establishment. The salsa is very mild so be sure to ask for the Habanero salsa to spike up the heat! We had the Bandera Special and the Pollo La Fiestia. Everything on the plate was nicely seasoned and a large portion. Both dishes are highly recommended. Add a chili toreado to round out the meal! The service was great! WOW prices went up and portions got smaller. Such a shame they downsized their value. We've been eating here for as long as we can remember. Not only was the service rude and unfriendly, the portions were DINKY! We spent $25 bucks and left hungry. Never again. Treat your customers with respect and kindness and they will return. Cutting corners to save money and delivering mediocre food is sad these days but it seems to be a trend. You've been warned. read more

Probably the only real Mexican restaurant in all of Chickasha. I see it all the time. If you have a family of 6 or more you can forget eating inside. Waited for a table for over an hour as I stood there. The salsa was alright if you don't like any heat. you can request hotter habanero salsa but they charge you for it? did not even tell us there was an up charge. I can say that their frozen margaritas are really well done. The restaurant needs to be closed down for a day to be cleaned properly the ceiling are caked full of dust like they have never been cleaned. there is a ceiling fan that needs to be replaced as its wobbling and could be a hazard if it falls. I had no complaints with the food. If the cleanliness was increased this would be a decent place. for the most part I may return in the future but with a smaller party. read more

Arrived around 515 and was promptly seated, chips and salsa were brought to the table. We ordered Beef Queso dip, it was kind of watery but tasted good. I ordered the Fajita Charras and my girlfriend ordered the Tacos Al Pastor. My fajitas were huge! I'm a big eater but I could only eat 3 tortillas full, I ended up taking over half of it home, my girlfriends tacos were an order of 3 and were big, she could only eat one and a half. The food here is honestly some of the best I've had in a very long time. This place and El Charro will always have a special place in my heart. Their food is very authentic and their salsa is very good especially the habanero salsa!! I get the chicken fajitas and their chicken soup. The waitress's/waiters are very friendly. Worth checking out. Good size portions for the price and full of flavor. Our server was still tentative even with a huge baseball or softball team taking up half the seating. Tables were not packed it so you didn't feel like you needed to talk to the table next to you like most places. read more

I went with a vegetarian friend from Grady County, and was pleased to find a vegetarian section on La Fiesta's menu. (Both my friend and I had assumed that she'd have to settle for a big bowl of borracho beans and call it good.) I had a botanas platter that La Fiesta's management calls "Botanas La Fiesta." (Fried onions, fried avocados, two cheese quesadillas, some taquitos, and fried potatoes -- simple but good.) The botanas was almost eleven bucks -- pretty steep compared to the Mexican restaurants that I frequent in south Oklahoma City. (That said, it wasn't a skimpy portion.) The habanero salsa I asked for was flavorful and just spicy enough to satisfy. It's seldom that I am in Grady County, and it's seldom that I give five Yelp stars to a menu whose menu is so heavy on the Tex-Mex side of things. (I am NOT a fan of Tex-Mex in general. I mean, really -- not all of us bald Anglo-Okie boys have bad taste.) I saw no menudo on the menu, and also saw no Pastel Tres Leches on the menu. (I had hoped to take a slice home for the other half.) Still, all in all, it was all really good in a town that is NOT known for its exceptional little restaurants. Alright, to start this review we walked in, and no one seated or acknowledged us for about 5 minutes. The chips were hard but they were alright, the salsa had no flavor (boarderline ketchup) so we asked for spicier salsa and it came in a very small bowl and it was very thin (they also charge you for the spicer salsa). I had the enchiladas supreme the rice was good, the beans were kind of watery, the tortillas were hard and tough, the chicken in the first enchilada had good flavor and we all enjoyed it, there wasn't much beef in the second enchilada but it was good, and there was barely any queso on the dish at all. The quesadillas were very greasy. Do not get the water. The server was mediocre and didn't pay much attention to us at all. Overall wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. read more

SCAMMED ME MY MONEY AND MY TACOS. Was told I would get my money back and it's been two weeks! The waiters are very unprofessional and rude!

The food is terrible. So much salt I couldn't eat my street tacos, which were in no way shape or form a street taco. It was more like steak fajitas in a flour tortilla. My husbands enchilada had refried beans in it, which I've never seen before. The service was good, waiter was attentive and the dining room was clean and welcoming. This just wasn't a good meal. The salsa is not good. The beef chili queso was okay, cheese part good the beef was not appetizing. Got the chorizo quesadilla. Sausage was good but tasted overcooked/burnt (its chopped very finely) and the bottom of the quesadilla was soaked in grease. Rice was okay. Margarita was great, so there is that. Sopapilla was also good. In OKC queso and sopapilla are generally gratis, not here so just a heads up on that. Wife didn't really like her food, and one person in our party had facial hair in their food. All in all, might be the worst Mexican food I've had. Very satisfying visit. Love the fact that this place has a vegetarian menu section, a rarity among southwestern restaurants. Started with the fried avocados with ranch. I thought was a unique and tasty appetizer, they were breaded in corn masa which was just delicious. I had the vegetarian quesadilla, very savory with fresh broccoli and mushrooms. My mom had the grilled fish tacos, she said she liked them alright, and we both got a good portion size. I would definitely dine again. read more

Nothing about this place was good. The service, the food...oh...the 'dirty' rimmed Pacifico and tortillas were good. I would've been better off spending my $60 at a Taco Bell. I wasn't expecting fine dining, but at least basic decent Mexican food. My husband ordered the queso (since it wasn't complimentary), and the waitress had to be reminded to bring it out several times. We had to then ask for chips. When the queso finally came out, it was so bad that we didn't even eat it. The salsa tasted like it was from a gallon jug from a wholesale warehouse. I can't stress enough how bad this place is. The rice I loved, my pork carnitas, eh the meat quality was not good, and I got a big chunk of just fat. Not cool guys. Salsa and queso just ok, pretty run of the mill. My date ordered chicken enchilada and beef enchilada and said they were good. Not much to go wrong there. They used ground beef in the beef, to me they should used shredded beef, but maybe they have an option for that. I've eaten the fajitas here before, those were good, but that was pre pandemic so who knows? Food In Chickasha has turned into over priced slop the last couple years, not a decent place to eat in town. Even stuff you would think be consistent, and have quality control like Taco Bell and KFC is ridiculous garbage in this town.. so compared to them this place is a Michelin rated restaurant. Good friendly staff, nice atmosphere, eat here often never had a order wrong or bad experience. Food is good and prices are in line with other Mexican restaurants. One complaint I have though is they don't give you queso with the chips, just salsa. Queso cost extra. Also a sopapilla cost extra. Most Mexican restaurants around here provide both with a meal purchase. It's ok because it's still a good, clean place to eat. read more
