Wanted to get a foot massage and found this place by chance. I came here as a walkin. Did the combo of feet shiatsu + full body shiatsu priced at $60. Reminder to tip after paying the service price. Workers have limited English and there can be easy miscommunication. I accidentally put my hands in the bucket of water instead of feet. I'm just a rookie trying to survive. In short don't go very racist and rude. Well I don't write reviews because my model is if I don't like it I don't go back. I don't like messing with people's livelihood but this experienced was so bad I had to write a review. Okay, my usual place was booked for the time I was looking for. So I yelped what was around and called them. They said I can walk in now if I wanted to. I agreed and I asked for their price for 1hr and if they take cash only which she responded by saying $45 and we take both but there's an extra fee for using cards. I get there and now she says we only do feet no full body. After talking to some lady that was there she agreed to take me. Now the price went up by $5 which I didn't care and I just paid I assumed it was a language barrier which it happens a lot. She had me go to the room in the front by the street and I went in. No music, bright light, it wasn't a therapeutic or relaxing environment but I didn't say anything. I didn't want to be difficult. Massage starts rough no oils and it was hurting me since there was a sheet on top of me. I asked her to put oil which she responded by saying it'll be additional $10 if she uses oil. I said it was fine I'll pay that and I was trying my best to enjoy my moment. It was hard because all I keep hearing was the cars and people walking by. I spoke to the lady and said this is a very small place is it worth running a business here? She said no we have rooms in the back. I asked her why she didn't take me in the back and she said someone is already there. After my massage I asked to use the restroom and I go in it looks like a real massage place with multiple rooms. Now I'm super upset because she only had one customer and she could have taken me in there. Not bad. Not the greatest. The guy I had was not too attentive so maybe that was the problem. First time here so I'm not sure if the others are good. We had 5 people in our group and the mixed reviews was "it was ok" and "eh". The price is only $30 an hour. I live in Arcadia and go to a super good one for $20 an hour and tip Them $20 because it's cheap and so worth it. I like my place better . But I was in the area. Gave 2 stars because they stopped our massage 10 mins early! Wth . I was telling them we still have 10 mins and they ran out the room like cockroaches at night when you turn the light on! read more

I walked in expecting a massage within a reasonable time given the sign that read "walk ins welcome". When I walked in, no one greeted me, after 5 minutes or so someone asked me how they could help. I was told 1 hour wait for the front room, to which I responded no that's too long of a wait. The lady helping me told me I could go to the back room for faster service. After waiting in the back for 45 minutes in a pair of basketball shorts and a T-shirt that they provided me to wear, No updates, no check ins, no water offered, and definitely no massages being performed. I went to Ktown to buy some Korean groceries, and thought I can just walk into my usual massage place, but they were booked with an hour wait, so I ended up going to the one near by which was this place. I was pleasantly surprised at the price and how nice and clean it was. The towels didn't have any scent at all, which I liked. The pillow which I had my face on felt comfortable and cushy enough that it didn't leave any marks on my way out. I was massaged by a professional lady who had a friendly smile, and gave me a very good massage with good amount of pressure. I'll definitely visit again! read more

On a day off, a group of four of us stumbled into this massage place. It's right next to the big Koreatown Galleria complex where we just had a meal at the food court. You really can't pass up the "$20 foot massage". You can't pay anyone that much these days to do anything for an hour, let alone rub your feet. Luckily, I was with other folks who spoke Korean which was _helpful_ because English is not the primary language at this place. However, it is very clean with decent sized rooms and lighting. It's more bright than dark. I've been to Thai massage places where it was more "zen" and tranquil. I'd say this place is more practical and no nonsense. We got a couples foot massage and I want to say that the foot massage was fantastic. Excellent technique and I was really feeling the reflexology effects. I think I probably nodded off at a certain point. You also get a nice arm and leg massage, too. The only not-so-fantastic moments was when the massage guy's cellphone rang really loudly and he answered it. Twice. That was buzzkill. Also, one of the massage guys came in, straight from being off work and I'm pretty sure he didn't wash his hands as he plopped his keys and bag down. But, since it was a foot massage, we'll just let that one slide for now. Two of us got the foot massages and two got the full body massage; everyone was pretty happy coming out. They have a menu posted of what you can get (I missed the chance to snap a pic!). The $20 foot massage is 10am-200pm. You can also do $30 for 30 body/30 foot and $45 for 60 min body. I think those are all days prices. I would totally go here again for the price. Not sure if I would go without my Korean posse because of the language barrier but for $20, it's a good find. read more

WOW!!! I had to reactivate my yelp account and was waiting to give a negative review DURING my feet massage. I am a grad student, broke, and working a physically demanding full time job. Therefore, I needed to get a massage. So, I googled massage places and the "$20" obviously stood out to me. Boy... I wish I could have paid $10 and go somewhere else and get a decent massage. First, the parking is horrible. So, I had to street park a block away. Ok no problem. I walked up the stairs and saw a man in a massage scrub and just sitting outside playing Candy crush and smoking away his cigarette. After I saw that, I knew i should have went somewhere else. I walked into the establishment saw a man in a scrub sitting with his legs up on a chair. And a woman stood up (possibly the owner/manager?, normal clothing). She asked me what I wanted in korean. Of course, I then told her that I want the 1 hour $20 massage. She tells me to go into the room, right next to the door (I knew this was going to be bad, with customers calling, coming in). I went in and she brings a bucket of hot water. (In my mind, I am saying okay this is not going to be that bad). She then helps me dunk my feet into the bucket and leaves. I am laying there for 5 minutes with my legs dunked in. (Other massage places usually massage your shoulder, head, or neck). But nothing.... I should have known with the price. I am just laying down there in a bright ass environment. The towel over my eyes has a funky smell. I try to ignore it and try to doze off.... IMPOSSIBLE.. I RECOGNIZE THEY ARE PLAYING KOREAN SONGS IN THE BACKGROUND... WHICH MASSAGE PARLOR PLAYS LOUD,OBNOXIOUS MUSIC???! Where in the neptune is the serene zen quiet peaceful, meditation music...? I knew this was going to be an horrible experience.. A different lady comes in and works on my leg for 50 minutes. Not surprised. She works on every single toe, goes up and down on each toe for atleast 2 minutes on EACH TOE!!!.. I came for a massage not for a spa.... I dont care about the damn light callus on toes.. I want you to massage it please! Throughout the massage, I just couldn't wait to rush back home and release my dissatisfaction on this page. Of course, I saved the best for last... During my massage, that man I saw inside with his feet up and the owner (lady) were TALKING, LAUGHING, GIGGLING, PLAYING CANDY CRUSH WITH THE SOUND ON, AND SIPPING ON SOME TEA WITH LOUD SLURPING NOISE. The ladies here were so nice and delivered a great massage!! My friend and I both showed up here after our usual massage place up the road was booked. They were quick to accommodate us. The rates were just as competitive at the other place. Only $30 for an hour table foot massage. They offered us $50 for 90 min with hot rocks! We didn't have time, but for sure next time. I used to really like going to this place because the price was great and the masseuses did a great job but there seems to be new owners or "masseuses" because the last couple times I've gone, the massages were not very good and the one I had today was terrible. The woman who massaged me yawned throughout the entire time, she kept leaving the room and the massage was rushed and uncomfortable. There was loud pop music playing and the table top face rest had no padding but a folded towel which did not feel good at all. Won't be going there again. read more

I finally found my massage spot! I've been everywhere searching.. Ktown to Pasadena to west hollywood.. I'm tall and have a lot of back issues so I try to get a massage once a week. Bf and I happened to find this place after a stressful day and they said they had room for two even if it was almost closing time. It was very clean and they gave us shorts and a Tshirt to change into. We got the combo of body and foot massage. They did such a good job getting all my knots out. The lady that gave me my massage really knew what she was doing.. She told me my bad areas that were knotted up and recommended I get the full body next time, which I did. Both times I went, I walked out feeling so much better! This isn't a relaxing Swedish massage place. They will work you and make you cry!! But sooo worth it. read more

My friend and I got a 30 + 30 massage (30 minute foot and 30 minute shoulder/back massage). They give you clean uniforms to wear and the place is spotless. Parking is also very easy to find. The bathroom was also relatively clean. My only issue with this place is either the language barrier or their shady tipping practice. I gave the proprietress $40 to pay for my $30 massage. When she didn't automatically give me my change, I asked for it and she told me that the tip was $10. I told her I wanted my change back and she put $10 on the table. I said thanks and asked her if she had smaller bills and she said no and that the tip is $10. To say the very least I was annoyed. When my friend came up to pay for her massage, she said the exact same thing, specifically that $10 is the tip. While the massage was good, like most customers I want to decide if I should tip and what the tip amount should be. Having it dictated to me is not the best business or customer practice. Could this have been a case of miscommunication? Perhaps, all I know is that whatever tension that was relieved by the massage, my friend and I quickly gained back through this shady tipping practice! read more
