The atmosphere was calm and respectful, and the staff was wonderful. Helen did my scrub and did an excellent job (on the harsher side, which I loved). The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly. I immediately recommended this place to my group chat and will definitely be back. The only thing missing is food options -- hope they add some in the future.

My husband loved it. The massages are a little rough, so I asked for them to be a little softer. But, I'm kinda a baby with massages, like I don't book deep tissue type of massages. The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. The spa offered shorts for men, so my husband utilized the co-ed hot tubs. He said he was the only person in the co-ed area and men's side. In the women's area, where they had the hit tubs, women are nude. So, it's a little stressful at first because I never been to a spa where people are nude. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

My friend and I booked the Goddess package, which is the most complete. You arrive early to soak in the hot tubs (which were not as hot as my last review indicated), and then are taken back to the wet massage area. After a very thorough scrub and wash, you are massaged, and you also have your hair washed, and they do an anti-aging face mask. It was about $220, which is a little more expensive than I remember, but that's about an hour and forty-five minutes of service. I did feel like if I went back, I'd probably try one of the shorter services. You don't have to have cash for a tip, because they put the tip on your bill, and you can pay with your credit card. I didn't hang out in any of the saunas, just in the mood for a hot tub. They did have a nice, tranquil outside area as well. Also, they had a cafe that had some snacks and water, and also a sign saying you can order food. I didn't get the name of the person who did my service, but she was great! She was very friendly.

A month in advance, I booked what I understood to be a reflexology foot massage for Father's Day. I'd been walking over 20,000 steps a day all week, my calves were sore, and I had been looking forward to having my feet worked on for weeks. The massage lasted 85 minutes. Throughout the treatment, I kept wondering when they were going to start working on my feet. They never did. Aside from minimal contact, my feet were essentially untouched. When the massage ended, I assumed I must have misunderstood what reflexology was. After the treatment, I went to the front desk and asked whether I could book a foot massage that same day because I still wanted one. The receptionist pointed to the reflexology treatment on the menu and said that was the foot massage. I told her I had just received that treatment and no one had touched my feet. That's when she informed me that she had accidentally marked me down for a shiatsu massage instead. I don't know how that happened. I booked online a month in advance. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. I had waited a month for this appointment, paid nearly $200, and spent 85 minutes receiving a completely different treatment than the one I specifically scheduled. What made it even more frustrating was that I also had a Pure Bliss treatment later that day, one of the spa's more expensive services. That treatment already included a back massage. I had intentionally planned the day around receiving both a full-body massage and a dedicated foot massage. Instead, because of this persons error, I essentially paid for two almost identical massages while the part of my body that actually needed attention received almost none. I asked whether there was any way the spa could make the situation right. I was told management would discuss it and let me know by the end of the day. When I checked back after my final treatment, I was informed that they would give me a 20% discount. The problem is that Olympic Spa already adds a mandatory 20% gratuity to treatments. So the "discount" amounted to removing the gratuity rather than reducing the price of the service itself. I still paid full price for a treatment I never requested and never intended to book. What disappointed me most wasn't the scheduling mistake. Mistakes happen. It was the way the mistake was handled after it was discovered. I never received the treatment I booked, the issue wasn't identified until after the service was complete, and the proposed solution felt more symbolic than meaningful. Sadly, this experience also reflects a broader decline I've noticed over the years. Olympic Spa has never quite been the same since COVID. I understand the challenges businesses have faced and I'm genuinely impressed that Olympic survived when so many others didn't. But longtime customers have watched prices climb while amenities have steadily disappeared. Day passes that once cost around $20 are now closer to $60. The waxing services are gone. The nail salon is gone. The kitchen is gone. Even the pricing on the website can feel misleading, with member pricing emphasized while the actual non-member cost is significantly higher. For years I happily overlooked those changes because I loved Olympic Spa. This experience changed that though. Father's Day can already be an emotional day for many people, especially those who've lost theirs. I had planned this visit weeks in advance as a day of relaxation and self-care, and instead I left feeling frustrated, dismissed, and taken advantage of. After more than a decade as a customer, I won't be returning.

My day started with being shown where the changing/locker room is, what to do next and where the lounge area is. There are waters and cups and plenty of seating to choose from while you wait. The fireplace really elevates the lounge. Lana did my CBD oil massage. She was very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I'm not experienced with massages so I had a bit of trouble letting go control of my arm at one point, but she reminded me to relax. Afterward she brought me a drink which is probably normal for them but it was really nice lol. Again I'm not a seasoned spa goer. I really enjoyed the massage though. Next I tried out the sauna for a few minutes which was clean and very relaxing. Up next was my copper bath. When I stepped inside, I felt like royalty because it's set up so pretty with candles and flowers, it's a really nice tub with jets as well. I didn't want that to end haha. Next came my clarifying facial with Arely. This consisted of chemical exfoliation, extractions, an LED mask and a peel. She massaged me a bit as well which was nice. I wasn't sure if the extraction process did anything however because she applied no pressure to extract, it felt like just tapping on areas of my face but it's not a big deal. I can extract at home. The rest was relaxing! I finished the day off with Danielle, who was absolutely phenomenal. She told me exactly what we're doing and made me feel comfortable. First was the scrub, then she got a shower ready for me to rinse off and then brought me fresh water for after. Next came the body melt which smelled fantastic and felt really moisturizing. Danielle went out of her way to even give me a scalp massage and she sent me home with some of the body melt she used. I finished my day feeling at peace, soft and in a great mood. I do think I accidentally left my socks in my robe pocket but it's ok. No pictures because this was a total unplug day for me. No devices, no social media, just being present in the moment. Highly recommend this spa! I already decided that I want to make this an annual thing that I do each year for myself. Thank you Larchmont Sanctuary Spa!

A Novelty Spa Experience for Those Interested in Korean Culture…read more Wi Spa is a great way to experience the jimjilbangs of South Korea. Admission is $40 on top of a fee for valet parking, which is the only choice for Wi Spa's parking lot. Since this spa is open 24 hours, this admission gives you the whole day to experience the spa's many rooms. The front desk service is no-frills and straightforward. I only had three hours to go through the rooms, but the spa is actually quite small. Most of the main spa rooms (co-ed) are on the same floor. There's a cold room and then ~3 hot rooms with various themes. In addition, these rooms were incredibly cozy, only allowing a few guests at a time. In the gendered areas, there's showers, jacuzzis, saunas, and lockers. There's a sleeping room, a restaurant, and a common area to lay out on the co-ed floor. The rooftop area is on the top floor. Wi Spa offers massages, body scrubs, and various spa services. However, the prices are on the higher side. There are also massage chairs, but these cost extra money and aren't included with admission. I did the body scrub, which you have to book in advance at the register, and it is quite painful but thorough. They do ask about washing your hair and scrubbing your face, but I opted out. You are given an envelope to tip for services (bring cash!). It was nice that they give you the scrubbing cloth at the end! Overall, the spa is a little cramped and in need of an update considering rising admission prices. It's a charming experience and similar to what I've seen at jimjilbangs in Korea. However, it's not necessarily a high-end experience, and the prices of the additional services are quite high.

My husband and I came to Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa to celebrate our wedding, and I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. We were being treated by a friend as a wedding gift so we had a specific budget to work within, and I had absolutely no idea which treatments to choose or what would make the most sense for us. Before our visit, I called and spoke with Carla, who was incredibly patient and helpful. She walked me through all of the services they offer, answered every question I had, and gave us amazing recommendations without making me feel rushed or pressured. When we arrived, Samantha checked us in and happened to overhear my husband mention to me that he's always wanted to try red light therapy. She immediately offered us both a complimentary 10-minute session. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and only the beginning of how special everyone made our day feel!! My husband had his massage with Nadia and said he has never felt better after a massage. She appreciated his direction and tailored the entire tx to exactly what his body needed rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. He cannot stop talking about how amazing he feels!! I had my cucumber and honey body cocktail with Melissa, and she was an absolute angel. She was so warm and sweet, and the tx itself was incredible!!! From the moment she introduced herself I could tell she's not only exceptional at what she does, but genuinely cares about creating a wonderful experience. When I mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding, she completely surprised us by arranging a complimentary 45-minute couples Moroccan bath after our individual treatments. Blanca, the bath attendant, had everything beautifully set up for us in a private room with ambient red lighting, two huge tubs filled with essential oils and jets, full glasses of champagne, tea, and snacks. It was romantic, luxurious, and so so thoughtful. Just the perfect way to relax together and *soak* in this new chapter of our lives. Every single person we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to make our experience special, and it was overwhelmingly beyond anything we could have hoped. We can't wait to come back!!!

Tomoko Spa is located on a very busy street, but you forget all that as soon as you step inside. They do a really great job of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The experience starts with a 15 min foot soak/massage, and that already was divine. The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. They are also really good at checking in at various parts of the massage to make sure you are completely satisfied. I really appreciated how thorough they are with the massage and also how proactive they are in making sure you are enjoying the experience. At the end of the massage, we were given hand-whisked matcha tea to drink, and they also provided us jelly, a handwritten note, and a rose to celebrate our anniversary :) We had such a lovely experience, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself! ** If you book a couple's massage, they provide complimentary parking in the lot next to the spa, otherwise there's paid street parking or parking garages available nearby
