    Flour Enchilada with Meat
    Katie W.

This place is always amazing! I've never had a bad experience here. Their service is fast and friendly. Their food is served hot and tasty, and they always accurately create your adjustments. If you want leftovers, get the large combo smothered with cheese, onion, and chile verde. To make it even better, upgrade the cheese enchilada to a flour cheese enchilada! Their chips and salsa are always delicious! The ambiance is lively and fun! The music is loud, but it's not bad. The space is clean and there are tables and booths to accommodate parties of any size.

You seriously can't go wrong with a bean and cheese burrito smothered. I got takeout and it was exactly what I was wanting and tasted delicious. Their service is always good.

Each bite was worse than the last one. Go about 1/2 mile west to Betos if you want cheap Mexican food. It's better than La Frontera.

I ordered the fish tacos and a cucumber lemonade, and both were outstanding. The lemonade was incredibly refreshing and hit the spot perfectly. The fish tacos were crispy, flavorful, and served with several different condiments that allowed you to customize each bite and add even more flavor. The chips and salsa were also fresh and delicious. One thing to note is that the parking lot is small and was completely packed when we arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon. However, we were still able to find parking and get a table surprisingly fast despite the crowd. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a great experience. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try!

They start you off with chips and salsa, which is always appreciated. Just know that the first basket is complimentary and any additional baskets come with a charge. Of everything we tried, the Cheesy Pastor Tacos were the clear standout. The birria, asada, and chorizo were all good, but the pastor tacos stole the show. Next time I'll probably skip the variety and just order those. The only thing that caught us off guard was the seating policy. They wouldn't seat our table until everyone in the party had arrived, even though the people we were waiting for were literally pulling into the parking lot. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did feel a little unnecessary and inconvenient. Overall, the food was excellent, the drinks were refreshing, and the experience was a good one. I'll definitely be back, especially for the Cheesy Pastor Tacos.

The restaurant has limited parking! Tiny! Parking is a joke! There is maybe 6-7 parking spaces on the east side. Maybe 2-3 at the back of the building, which is one way. It limits the ability to drive around the back of the building. There are two parking spaces on the west side of the building. I have seen cars get totally stuck, people yelling and getting upset. If you have a large vehicle, I would not even try to drive around the building. I would drive south of the restaurant and park at the whitmore library's parking lot, and walk over. Service is okay. Ordering is cramped, and if there's a line you're standing at the back of the restaurant right next to people sitting eating. It's uncomfortable. During the summer there is seating inside and outside, but during high times you have to wait for a table! During the winter there are 12 tables, most of which are room for 2 people, four tables for 4 people, 5 if you can fit. This restaurant is SO popular, they really need to move to a larger building! One with plenty of parking and more seating. I love their food so much I would go once a week if there was more seating and parking, otherwise it's just too stressful!

Unfortunately I kind of wish I didn't. We tried the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, Carne Adovada Burrito, nachos with shredded beef, and horchata. The dish with the most flavor was the nachos. I'd give that dish a 4. The horchata was pretty good too. Definitely above average horchata. But the rest of the dishes didn't have enough flavor, even after adding salsa from their salsa bar. This was pretty disappointing and we wished we had picked a different restaurant for lunch.

The cook makes the food, hands you the food, you add all the toppings you wish (without judgment), and can go back inside the restaurant (unless you grab the wrong door and end up at the barber) to sit at a table or wherever you wish to eat. I got to select however many meats with no toppings and was pain free for the rest of the day (conclusion for me: no additives triggered a wobbly digestion in response). Everything looked and smelled fresh. Ambiance: bit bare inside, definitely not cozy. But if you are there to get food and eat it, it should be good enough.

I enjoyed two tacos-a beef and a chicken, both absolutely amazing. The flavor is great, the tortillas are warm and fresh-everything about it is great.
