No zeros, my plate had sausage chewed up! My eggs were poached and just not any kind of Mexican breakfast I've ever had, just feel like I could have chewed my own sausage up myself personally! I paid $19.06 for a pulled chicken taco salad. It had a little over 6 oz of water/juices in it. (I poured it into a measuring cup) it was a togo order. I dont recall the taco salads being so expensive! I didnt get any drinks or sides. You can tell the owner wasnt working that night for many reasons. It was loud in there so i didn't hear the total. But I've eaten there many many times. Every time, a taco salad. I don't get a receipt just have my cc charge. read more

All of the food I've ever had there is really good. The salsa is great! The serving sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable. And they have Mexican Coke! Mexican Coke is made with sugar, not corn syrup and comes in glass bottles, not plastic or aluminum. Taste the difference! Service is good. All around winner. read more

Visit: Thursday May 19th at 11:08. They had just opened but today was field day at my kids school and I had an hour break so I popped in here. I got queso and the combination plate because I wanted to try a lot of things. I got the cheese enchilada with green sauce, a tamale with red sauce and a beef fajita taco. Also a fried toreado. The queso was sooo good and full of flavor. The chips were warm. The sauces on my food was delicious. They actually put peas, tomatoes and onions in their rice. Cheese on the beans. The beef fajita taco was very very very generous and piping hot. The service was good. It was a young man who was really busy but always pleasant and prompt. If you're looking for some good authentic food, this is where it's at. It's a small little joint but it's clean with fresh flowers on every table. read more

I've had the carne guisada and the Florence enchiladas (chicken, salsa verde). There's food is good the rice and beans are nice. There's carne guisada is not excellent but very good. The biggest complaint is the salsa roja is just ok. Not spicy and could be more flavorful. Overall it's a good place. Restaurant is small so if they're busy you're sol. Also no refills on soda, which normally I feel is a deal breaker. Ymmv read more

Amazing food. Get anything smothered in their- actual real red - or green enchilada sauce. They don't make "gravy" Who even knows what gravy is? So good. Try everything! Chili Rello- with beef and red sauce. I mean- if you know, you know. If you don't- you should check it out. Also, they have a cute little antique/ consignment store across the street. The restaurant isn't fancy- but their food- and the actual enchilada sauces- are on point. Everything is fresh- And it's a very clean restaurant. I've only been twice. But, I love their food- it's as close as you can get to real Mexico- it's way above average. The red enchilada sauce- is the best I've ever had- unless I make it. It's perfect. The Chile Relleno- is absolutely incredible- green chicken enchilads- amazing- and anything g with their red enchilada sauce- will make you really happy If you're looking for Tex Mex or "gravy" the queso has that vibe. What is gravy? lol But - the queso will do you right, if you're looking for some down home Texas- Tex mex . Like velveeta- it's tasty though- not my favorite. Cheesy and delicious. The shrimp were whole (not chopped like Mama Betty's) and fresh. This place is a hidden gem and so much better than Enchiladas Y Mas (Austin) and Jardin's (ALL locations). Came through town on the way to look at a used truck. Located in "downtown". Smaller but clean and quaint inside. Tables decorated with fresh flowers from the local florist. It was the best tamale I ever had, there was enough beef in the enchilada's Chile con carne sauce to make a small burger and the chicken tostada was almost a meal by itself. All for under $10.
