The service here is so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and felt like I was back in Mexico enjoying lunch on my vacation. They have wonderful daily specials and they have nice presentation of their food and drinks. The salsas were great! Highly recommend the Michiladas. It's hard to find menudo with hominy around here but Marisol's has it... and in a nice big serving. However they served it with onions and cilantro instead of oregano and crushed chili. All good though. They have it. You just have to ask. Flavor is the only thing I'd say they could use more of. Go ahead and throw some salt in there, y'all.

We went to breakfast here after church today. The greeting when we walked into the restaurant was welcoming and kind. The decor is bright and cheerful and the restaurant is clean. I went into the ladies bathroom, which is also nice and clean and cheerful. We were there two adults and one adult in a wheelchair. We were there about 15 minutes before we got our drinks and I had to ask for chips and salsa, which were clearly on other peoples tables. It wasn't too busy because it was early, nine thirtyish. Our server took our order and then disappeared. When I saw her walking past, I asked her if we could have another chips and salsa and some little plates and she said yes. About 15 minutes later I got out of my chair and went to the server and said can we have chips and salsa and a little plate and she said oh you want more I said no I asked for this previously remember? And she says oh yeah and I still took probably another five minutes before we got chips and salsa and little plates so that the person in the wheelchair could reach the chips also. I took 45 minutes to get our food and we only ordered two plates of tacos and one burrito. Our server never came back and asked how things were. One of us ordered a chorizo and bacon burrito however, the burrito did not have any chorizo or bacon in it. Since our server never came back, my husband got the attention of a gentleman who is working there, and my husband opened his burrito and showed him there was no chorizo and bacon inside. The man said he would have another one made. My husband said he'd like it to go since my mother and I were almost done with our food. I took my tacos and put them on one of the little plates to eat from and gave my husband rice and beans so he would have something to eat. We had assumed that the kitchen made the wrong burrito or that our server grabbed the wrong burrito, but we found out when the check came that our server ordered my husband a bean and cheese burrito in error. So if you put all these things together, our service was lousy, it took 45 minutes to get our food in a fairly slow restaurant, and my husband was served the wrong food (the server never came back to check on us so we could tell her he had the wrong food). I had street tacos; They were good. My mother had soft tacos with chicken; She liked them. Unfortunately, the service was so terribly bad and my husband getting the wrong food & our server never coming back to our table when we needed her causes me to give this restaurant 2 stars. I am thankful for the man who was working and my husband's ability to speak Spanish so that my husband could at least get some food to go. Without the one good employee, it would've been even worse.

Little Mexican place with great ambiance in Georgetown . Went here on a Friday evening and it was pretty full, plenty of parking though which is convenient . Chips came out first and they were fresh and they provided both mold and spicy salsas and loved the spicy one ! Ordered Cadillac margarita which was decent , Jamaica drink was a bit too sweet and watered down to our liking . Our main dish came out pretty quick afterwards - chicken (pollo) chipotle and street mini tacos . The tacos were great and the green sauce that goes with it was delish ! The chicken chipotle was good in terms of spice level . Chicken itself was a bit overcooked and was chewy towards the end as they were breast pieces . Overall, was a good experience although not great, and would go here again !

Nice surprise! Looking for breakfast tacos on Saturday morning and found this place on Yelp. Reviews were right. Strip center location and unassuming but pretty Mexican decor inside. Comfy seating, good service and delicious breakfast. All food was served warm. Potatoes had good flavor and crispy. Huevos were tasty and French toast was great! We will be back!

My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

I've been told to not go to restaurants on Sundays or Mondays as that is when the chefs take their days off, but not here. Lots of open tables, chips and dos salsas came quickly . I had the Memos special , which is fajita meat cut up mixed with onions, bell Peppers and jalapeños, I added bacon. Man it was good! I got the Charro beans which were outstanding! As was the rice. It was a great dinner! I'm going to ask for more jalapeños next time....

I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. So we called an audible and decided to get an order for takeout (Albert could convince you to buy anything, I think). We got two orders of Corn QuesaBirria Tacos and the Jalapeño Popper Specialty Taco. Both were great and I especially liked the Birria Tacos, even eating my wife's portion... "You going to eat that?" When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange to me, given the early evening hour and past visits. This place has been jampacked, standing room only. The slogan on the wall "Andamos Al Cien" Is a great goal for the bar area, but on my visit, it fell woefully short. The house margarita was barely drinkable, although the presentation was nice, the actual beverage itself in the glass was something less desirable/drinkable. The bartender commented when I ordered my next margarita, with specific ingredients, he said that should make a much better beverage than what you had the last time. Although, It was better, it was not a a great drink, it was not well balanced, something was off. The food itself, the chicken fajita quesadillas was very average food, and I have to question the chicken fajita component. The chicken did not taste that great and it tasted and appeared to be more like a shredded chicken than a fajita chicken. The flavor just wasn't up to the standard of what I have come to know and expect from a great chicken fajita. Service itself, was OK, but nothing spectacular. The bartender did a decent job of keeping my alcoholic beverage needs filled, but my water glass did not receive the attention it deserved and I had to frequently ask for it to be refilled, when I would expect that your normal server/bartender would see that it was empty and either refill it or ask if it needed to be refilled instead of waiting for me to bring it to their attention Super friendly, bartender, and I have heard great things about their food, so I am thinking I may have just caught them on an off night and will give them another chance. If this place was jampacked like it normally is, I think my experience would have been much different.

This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

Truly some of the best service I've experienced. He went above and beyond, recommended popular dishes, and even guaranteed that if we didn't like them, he would take care of it. To my surprise, he was absolutely right. All the appetizers and entrées were great. I ordered a burger, which isn't what you'd typically expect at a Mexican restaurant, but it ended up being one of the best burgers I've had in the area. My wife had the fajitas, and we also shared queso with chips and a sampler of chips and dips--everything was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items and hope we get the same level of service again.

My husband and I split the Caldwell Special (essentially a fajita platter with beef, chicken, and shrimp, over peppers and onions).
