This is a lovely joint in the heart of Old Town Perris! Specialty coffees and teas with a variety of salads and sandwiches to eat. I especially love the burgers and fries albeit the sandwiches are just as good. Ask for the Sunrise or Sunset if you like a different kind of lemonade. The staff there are great and there's ample space to sit and relax for a spell. They are very supportive of the local school district so ask for the teacher's discount if you happen to be one. read more

Good quality coffee. I got an iced Americano and a cappuccino. They were so smooth. The color was light, which means the beans are not over roasted. There are no residual oils which means that the beans are light-medium and not burnt. I source my beans from Seattle and these definitely quality. Their prices are good, but the quality is why I'll be back. Keep it up! read more

These guys are liars and have zero customer service. I ordered my food online with a 35 minute eta. I showed up right about the 45 minute mark (food should have been done for 10 minutes). I go inside to retrieve my order and they tell me it just came through and hand my ticket, which has been sitting there, right next to the cash register, to the back.... Popped by this cafe on a whim.. headed to the freeway I was craving a cold coffee.. we looked it up and it was so conveniently close to our destination. We walked in to this cute shop and were surprised to see the size and menu offerings. We got excited and ordered a panini to go... but once we saw the size of it, decided it would be safer to eat at the cafe. It was very filling and a large portion - easy to share and it came with a bag of chips. Service was great, wish I had taken the cashier's name. She was so kind and welcoming and made excellent drink suggestions. This Cafe is located in Downtown right off the 215 fwy off "D" exit. It can be a bit difficult to find parking on their side as it's always almost taken but there's a parking lot beside them with a crosswalk which is convenient. La Gare has a full menu but I have just tried their coffee. Today I had a 12oz hot Soy Latte with a pump of vanilla, Yummy! I've been here a few times and have always experienced great service...staff is super nice, makes one feel welcomed and happy to be there. Found this spot on the way to Perris. Boyfriend got the 911 burgers with fries. He said the fries were over cooked. I tried it and it didn't taste overcooked but a bit old like they were heated up. The cafe is very spacious with lots of seating areas. The art work (mainly of Frida Kahlo), apparel, and fresh coffee beans are a nice touch. Lots of drinks and food to choose from. I found this cafe through Yelp. I was already in Perris and decided to try it. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, iced lavender latter, oriental chicken salad, and Buffalo chicken fries. The food portions are huge. The salad was good enough for 2 people. I am not sure if the dressing was made in house, but it was delicious. The fries were steak fries. If they were the thin regular ones, I think it would have paired better with the Buffalo chicken and cheese toppings. I loved the lavender latte. Nestled in downtown Perris, La Gare is really the best place for breakfast, lunch, and coffee of course; all at an affordable price. La Gare has perfectly portioned breakfast items, such as waffles, pancakes, crepes, omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches. Lunch is great too; paninis, hamburgers, and huge delicious salads. Another one of my favorites is the Tuna Melt with Avocado. You have to also try the large steak style fries, which are very addicting. I am not sure of the seasoning salt they add, but it is really good. As for the coffee and drinks, the staff does a great job, and they are efficient. I have had the regular coffee, iced tea varieties, and various latte options. They also have great latte art skills with perfectly developed "leaves." In regards to the decor, they did a really great job mimicking a train depot. There are even train tracks incorporated into the design. The interior is spotless, and there is plenty of room for group meetings. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The owners are typically on site and regularly interact with the customers. My only suggestion is to enable their registers to allow customers to add tips, so we don't have to rely on cash. The employee would love this option as well! read more

Stopped by here last month with my sister and bro-in-law for lunch. There's no indoor dining due to COVID but they did have a couple of tables outside. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and I honestly didn't like it too much. It wasn't bad but I just wasn't feeling it. I had a couple of bites and I ended up tossing the rest out. I feel bad wasting food but I knew I wouldn't have eaten the leftovers. They look like they have pretty good reviews on coffee, so if you visit I'd probably suggest sticking with that instead since that's what they're known for.
