I have been very disappointed with the customer service at this Starbucks location. I usually place my order through the app and select drive-thru pickup, but almost every time I arrive, the employees act confused or annoyed, as if I should have ordered at the speaker box instead. I already paid and placed my order ahead of time, so I only came to pick it up. The workers often seem unhappy, unwelcoming, and not friendly at all. Their facial expressions and attitude make the experience uncomfortable, like customers are bothering them just by showing up. Customer service should feel respectful and professional, especially when customers are paying for drinks and using the app the way Starbucks allows. After dealing with this kind of attitude multiple times, I have decided I no longer want to support this location. I would rather spend my money at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Menifee and Moreno Valley, where I feel more welcomed and enjoy the drinks much more. The workers know who I am. They knew and they handed my drink to me fast at the drive-thru. I hope management takes customer service more seriously and trains employees to treat app and drive-thru customers with better respect. I had a really disappointing experience here that honestly left me heartbroken -- not even for me, but for my daughter. She's a young teen who loves matcha and dreams of becoming a barista one day. While we were there, she politely asked where she could buy the matcha powder to make drinks at home. Instead of encouraging her curiosity, the barista grabbed the bag, asked another employee, and then told her that the powder is "restricted" and can only be used for Starbucks drinks and can't be bought anywhere else. That was simply not true -- and more importantly, it completely crushed her excitement. I highly do not recommend this place! I'm at with someone who needed some paperwork completed. So before setting up my laptop and area, I went to the counter and attempted to buy two bottles of water. The girl at the counter said "no don't worry. I can give you a couple of cups of water for free. You don't have to buy it." Well .... I'm then literally harassed by three other staff about having to purchase something while sitting there. I told them each and every time that they stopped by that I was planning on buying something. I didn't want to interrupt the flow of the paperwork I was doing, or eat while we had a conversation. Very, very, very DISAPPOINTING. Not sure the baristas are not trained well on making ICE brown sugar shaken expresso because for about two month I came here and the ice brown shaken expresso always come out looking like a latte NO EXPRESSO layers, looking milky AND tasting like a whole lot of oat milk. Once I did have them remake it and it came out the exact same one I gave them to remake. It was a male barista like for NO boy I want it like the advertised picture. If you know you know the drink won't hit if the expresso isn't visible dark at the bottom. Just ruins a persons day. I wonder how many people order this drink and don't say nothing. I looked for manager's business cards so I can email them on the lack of making this drink but non on site. We normally come here for our coffee and are usually very content, but yesterday 11/26/17 at 3:29pm we were quite disappointed and let down... We ordered our drinks over the app and went down into the cafe to pick up our drinks. Whilst waiting, a barista in a black apron (Coffee Master) had told the barista on bar (making the drinks) to create a grande Frapp instead of the Venti Frapp that I ordered so that my 4 affogato shots would fit... Keep in mind my drink is $9.05, so as expensive as it is... I would expect to get my money's worth. If you were a true coffee master, you would know better than to create a smaller Frapp! Almost all baristas would just put the Frapp into a Trenta cup and then add the shots after so the drink is complete. We were quite disappointed but didn't speak up to the barista because they were pretty busy.. I'm leaving a star because I have to in order to type a this review. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! This was my first time going there. I decided to go through and use the drive Thur because I had an appointment to go to right after and this is the first time I waited soooooooooooooooo long to get my drinks. It took 30+ mins to get my two drinks and bread. The drive Thur lady gave me one drink and told me that she will give me the other drink and bread in a bit. It took her about 15+mins to come back to the window and she was trying to charge me someone else's order. I told her that she had already charged me and that it had been the longest wait I had to ever wait at the window after being charged. She got upset and with attitude said, "sorry I had to take a break to breath". Honestly I understand things happen but there were many employees there for what I saw that could have taken over the transaction at that point. The drive Thur suppose to be fast because everyone in line has things or work to get to. If she was not feeling well maybe staying home would have been a better option or maybe not putting her doing drive Thur. Her attitude was what made me even more upset because honestly this is her job I would have thought she would be more understanding of my frustration of being in at the window for 15+mins and having her come back to not remembering that I was just waiting for my drinks got me mad. TLDR; Long wait times, incorrectly made beverages, rude staff, mediocre atmosphere. I don't like to complain, especially because I also work in food service, but this is the absolute worst Starbucks in this area. There hasn't been a single time That I'be been to this location when I didn't wait at LEAST 20 minutes for a single drink! on multiple occasions I have been through their drive-thru for near an HOUR to get my drinks, only to have rude baristas hand me either the incorrect beverage, or a beverage that wasn't made correctly. This is also the only Starbucks I have ever been to that hasn't made me feel valued or included. The baristas seem to be constantly goofing around in the back while people wait way too long for their drinks. Honestly, I don't know why I keep coming to this location. Today the service was quicker than usual, but the girl working the front counter with a name tag that read "Mo," was super mean to me. She was short and didn't smile or create a welcoming environment at all. I will admit that I was unclear on my part, but I was met with completely unnecessary and unwarranted attitude. I'm so upset that this location has let me down on so many occasions.
