I liked they had mandarin oranges for the topping options ( adds a fun flavor and color) and for each sections when ordering the " toppings/sauces" labels are big font. Very user friendly. Portion size and cost is affordable and reasonable. Seats and restrooms were nice and clean. The service could improve. The female employee that prepped my order also was on register and did the drinks. It's a pretty average poke place. The thing that bothered me the most though was that there was literally only one person working. You guys really can't afford two people to work here at lunch time? I don't blame the guy but he really just stopped working in the middle of my order because some mobile order came in for pick up and it wasn't ready. The guy looked really stressed, he needs a raise. I had a really disappointing experience at Poki Poki and Boba Tea on March 23. When we walked in at 1:15 it was empty except for a single employee on an iPad. The employee (a girl with black hair and faded colors) didn't acknowledge us at all and just continued working without even a quick "I'll be right with you." We stood at the front for a couple of minutes and said "hello" twice with no response. She didn't look up or even give us a gesture that she could hear us. When we finally raised our voices slightly just to make sure she could hear us, she immediately raised her voice back at us and accused us of "screaming" at her--which was completely untrue and uncalled for. Instead of a simple acknowledgment or apology, we were met with attitude and defensiveness. She said she was working on a DoorDash order, which is understandable--but completely ignoring customers in front of you isn't. A quick acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Instead, her tone and responses came off as dismissive and rude. The slow service combined with the lack of basic customer service made us feel unwelcome. At one point, she was even charging her phone between orders, which didn't exactly give the impression that helping in-store customers was a priority. We decided to leave and go next door to Chipotle Mexican Grill, where despite a full line, we were in and out in under seven minutes with friendly service. I understand managing online orders is part of the job, but acknowledging in-person customers is basic courtesy. We have gone many times and have been met with mind and speedy service until today. Despite being frequent customers we will be dining elsewhere until there's better training or staffing. read more

Me and my boyfriend have tried various poki spots around here but this one is always our go to and so far the best and freshest poki around. The portions are really good and every time I come in I get assisted right away unless there is a line but even then the wait is not bad at all. They have various toppings to choose from and two different types of rice (brown and white) which is a plus because not many poki spots have that option! The cleanliness is also a big factor to take into consideration the tables are always clean and the workers wash their hands when serving a new customer which is great! I was excited to see that Perris finally had a decent poki bowl place. The tuna and seafood I selected tasted fresh, and I got my sushi/poki fix for a while. I agree with much of the reviews here that the portions aren't as big, but the point of eating poki is really to eat healthier and not overstuff yourself. The boba drink that I selected was refreshing and delicious. If they reduced the price for about $2 less and had the boba as $0.50 add on, they might sell more. Overall, the food was amazing, and I'm glad that Perris is starting to get more variety to choose from instead of just greasy fast food restaurants. read more

In these times $16 per bowl is a lot of money but I think this poke place is worth it. We ordered a regular and large bowl and still had leftovers t take home. The fish was good not fishy tasting and I'm sure frozen not fresh but still good quality for poke. They are generous with their portion size. Typically I get poke in menifee and it's not as packed with toppings as this place. Only wish is that they had more types of sauces like ahi poke otherwise we will be back and know that we can share a large bowl. The fish tasted fresh. Variety of add ons to chose from too. They do have small protein servings. The "regular" 3 scoops of protein was more like 2 at a normal poke spot. For the price I'd expect a bit more of protein. The topping of "imitation crab" that is extra charge was given a good scoop. They do serve a lot of the base which is typically rice. Not many sauces to choose from. I usually like a citric sauce or ponzu which they do not have. The Thai milk tea was a bit watered down but the lychee green tea was pretty good. read more

I have seen this place open up in Perris and I didn't want to drive towards Menifee. Walked in and the employees are friendly, but the food is not that fresh. I bought two bowls and the piece was a bit more then what I pay at my usual spot. Don't get me wrong I will pay too price for my food but the food did not taste well. The cucumbers tasted old, looked brown and tasted like it's going bad. Even my mom stated it was bad cucumber. The portions are hella small compared to the places I have been too. The imitation crab was like a light brown and not the usual orange/ red when it's fresh. I ended up picking at my food and toss it out and my mom took a few bites and tossed it.
