Good texture. beef: I loved it but others may not. We got to choose doneness and I got medium well. Chewy but nice crust. Normally bbq doesn't ask so I was very happy. ribs: decent. not too much to say. Soft. Corn (side): crunchy corn with cheese was good, though patties were thicc. Little too much for me. ASK FOR THEIR SAUCES. THEY ARE FIRE. They had a spicy, a creamy, and a salsaish one. All 3 were so good. I loved it. especially the spicy one. Decent value for price. This is a little touch of authenticity in Orlando. We were looking for something different so we decided on Venezuelan. LaGloria had the smells and the setting that had us excited to taste some fresh cuisine and we were not disappointed. We order a platter for four and initially thought that it wouldn't be enough food for the five of us but it was plenty. We had ribs grilled to perfection with the perfect char over tender rib meat that had a great pull from the bone. The beef was cooked medium to medium-well and so flavorful and tender. For a little extra flavor we had some avocado chimichurri sauce that accentuated the chunks of beef. The sides were yucca, fries, and plantains which everyone was satisfied with as they complemented the meat well. Laeo was our server and she was so helpful to us and the rest of the staff was super polite. They made the dining experience great as they encourage us to relax and socialize around the food. Came here after my work's volunteer event and was not expecting a lot but thoroughly enjoyed the food! I personally ordered a mango margarita, a mixed plate, tequeños, and the chicharrón ceviche. While their drink menu was limited at the time, the drinks were made really well and were a very good portion. The juice they used for the mango tasted really nice. Overall I would call this "dangerously fun drink" as I could drink multiple at once and not realize how strong they are because they're that good! As far as the appetizers are concerned, the taqueños were very fresh and delicious with the avocado and creamy garlic sauce. Definitely a hit with the table. Same thing with the chicharrón ceviche! We weren't sure what we were expecting but the chicharrón was nice and crispy even with the sauce mixed in; the flavors made the appetizer feel light and not super overwhelming as an app. For the main dish, we all got different things from their burgers, arepas, cachapa, patacones, and their mixed plate. I will focus on my order which is the mix plate. I was getting really excited as I was seeing what the other tables are getting and boy did they not disappoint! The meat was cooked to my liking (medium rare) and the pork ribs were soooo tender! There was a plethora of options for side dishes and I personally got arepitas, rice, and plantains. There was so much good food for such a great price (I had leftovers and ended up with a very filling dinner). One heads up is that most of the staff does mainly speak Spanish as their main clients were Hispanic. We were able to get by as we knew basic Spanish and this was not an issue as they worked with us. We both enjoyed our meals and interacting with the staff -- all of whom were Venezuela-born. The restaurant was closing near the time we were leaving, so there weren't many other guests, so it was a rather quiet atmosphere for our dining experience, but that also meant that the waitress was exceptionally attentive -- even going so far as to bring out the chef to meet us and talk to us about the Venezuelan culinary experience. Priced reasonably, big portions, waitress Leonetti made it a great experience, and a chill atmosphere. Delicious Venezuelan cuisine. Really enjoyed our visit here. The place is full of surprises. The building looks like it used to be something before it was a restaurant, plus their main signage wasn't lit. Luckily the OPEN sign was, so we didn't miss the second driveway. There's a sushi counter in the front; not sure when that is available, as no one was there, so we proceeded further back into a main dining area which also has a bar. We were greeted warmly by a waitress. There are several great choices on the menu. Keep in mind that it's all in Spanish. Apparently they know their clientele. Another Yelp review warned us knowing at least some Spanish was essential to enjoying your visit. This was good to know ahead of time. Fortunately, my brother is fluent. Our food was delicious. Something weird is that in the front they have a sign that says sushi ... very misleading. We visited in July as soon as we walked in Gaitas were playing in their background I said (Christmas in July) but after that only Joropo played the rest of the time.
