Best mofongo I've had in a while. Parcha anything is the way to go also. Good vibes and service.

Pal campo Dr. Phillips location was excellent. We were seated immediately upon arriving. Decor was definitely amazing. The large screens on the wall with all the scenes from Puerto Rico was great. The two large trees were beautiful and went excellent with the decor theme of the restaurants. Food was excellent.

This location definitely has the best tasting food and is very cute inside. I love the PR aesthetic and beautiful LED wall. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Puerto Rican food

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed it. This was our first time at any of their locations. I love the decore inside. They have a very long cool video screen and a full-size tree inside. It's made to look like you're dining on a porch at a restaurant in Puerto Rico. We weren't very hungry so we ordered a salad and some appetizers. My wife said the shrimp salad was great, especially after she added a side of avocado. I had one pizza and one chicken turnover along with a side of beans and rice. All were good. The beans and rice was especially good with some plantain in it. The service was good and the prices weren't bad. They have the same menu for lunch and dinner. We will be back.

Hot fresh food. So delicious. Hidden gem in the plaza. Authentic food. Fast and friendly service.

High energy high volume atmosphere!!! Place for party celebrations and just a fun time. The food is delicious and authentic puertorican food. Service is fast and friendly! I always recommend the sampler appetizer as a meal because you can sample a little of everything of what makes Puerto Rican food good! The drinks are big and tasty and the food portions are big! One mofongo is good to share for two people.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while but haven't since I wasn't convinced by the reviews. Came last night as a suggestion by a friend and was excited to try it. We started off with the passion fruit sangria which by our surprise went from $8 posted on the menu to $14.99 when our server told us the menus changed and showed us the higher price on her machine. That already left bad impression on me. We ordered an appetizer that had a garlic sauce that looked more like a soup. It was interesting. My entree was the cubed steak and onions with a side of white rice. The meat was salty and the rice was didn't taste like I'm used to from other restaurants like Sofriito and Pio Pio. Our server checked in on us but I had to ask for water since she didn't ask us if we wanted any. I'm glad I tried it and enjoyed the company I was with, but for the prices, I think I'll stick to our regular places. It's a good place to go with a group if you like a.loud atmosphere and music. The screens across the wall were pretty cool.

Everything was yummy definitely awesome they have another location in Orlando the original is so popular that this one is more tucked away but worth the drive. The waitress was awesome and did a great job at explaining specials or things that she recommends. This location is very clean and open love how it feels spacious and the screens with the beach views and parts of the island is nice.

Pal Campo always has a grand vibe with beautiful decorations reminiscent of Puerto Rico that transports you back to the island. The food is great, especially the Assorted Pal Campo platter! It has absolutely everything you'd love to try from the variety of meats they offer, to the cassava fries, and fried cheese with guava sauce. Definitely the best value there and great to share! I also loved the mofongos rellenos. The garlic sauce looks like a side soup but it was delicious and I dipped everything in it. Their food presentation is always so aesthetic and the service was nice and friendly!

Wow! Where do I begin? From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. The menu offers a wonderful variety of dishes -- from simple comfort foods to more elevated, high-end options. Every dish was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and true to its roots -- nothing overdone or bland. The ambiance was inviting, with décor that beautifully showcases Puerto Rican culture -- from the vibrant flag to a lovely makeshift flamboyán tree. The space was spotless and thoughtfully organized, showing great attention to detail. Thank you for celebrating our culture and cuisine in such an authentic and beautiful way. We'll definitely be back!

We were looking for a place to have lunch and so glad we decided on Pal Campo! Service was fantastic. The staff was friendly and food came out pretty fast. The restaurant really transforms into somewhere in Puerto Rico. Decor is super cute. The food is the star of the show. 10/10 everything we ordered was so good. The fresh juices were delicious! Mango margarita was great they are not stingy with the alcohol. For starters we got the churrasco tostones rellenos! Honestly i wished i ordered an extra order to go cause they were that good. For the main we decided to get what looked like their specialty dishes since they were pictured in the menu. The pechuga rellena was stuffed with sweet plantain cheese and chicken was wrapped in bacon. My side was arroz con gandules and i got some habichuelas on the side. Let's start with the portion size OMG honestly this plate could be for 3 cause it's so much food but so worth it. Chicken was good and juicy. We also ordered the El Yunque. If you love surf and Turf with lots of flavors this is for you. My husband is not a mushroom guy but the sauce!? He couldn't stoped complimenting it. Kids menu is great good variety for the kids that like Latin food but also have chicken fingers in case you have a picky eater.

Great environment, food and mojitos for only $7 on that day. I highly recommend the carne frita which was delicious, tender and juicy. It's been a while since I've had a good tostone. The arroz con gandules and yuca fries were to die for. If you like spicy, ask them for their homemade hot salsa.

We left almost all of it!! The best things was the mayo ketchup and the trifongo!

If I could give NO stars I would but I'll give it the one star for the look of the restaurant inside! The place was pretty empty on this cold Monday night so there's no excuse to have bad or rushed food! The entire meal was a huge waste of money!

Disappointing Experience at Tropical Mofongo…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Tropical Mofongo. I called to place an order and was told they would not take my order over the phone and that I had to order online. I followed their instructions and placed an online order totaling over $100. The order indicated that my food would be ready at 3:17 PM. I arrived at approximately 3:30 PM, only to find that my food was still not ready. When I went to pick up the order, I was asked to provide identification. Unfortunately, I had left my ID at the hotel where I was staying. I did have a picture of my ID on my phone, but instead of accepting that, I was told they wanted to write down my driver's license number. Given the amount of identity theft and fraud happening today, I was not comfortable providing my driver's license number for someone to write down. They offered me a refund, and I ultimately left without the food I had ordered. I understand that businesses have policies regarding identification, but the entire experience was frustrating and lacked customer service. I followed their instructions to order online, paid over $100, arrived at the stated pickup time, and still walked away without my food. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Tropical Mofongo. The customer service and handling of the situation were extremely disappointing.

I recently went to Orlando for a conference, and while we spent the majority of our time in a large…read moreresort and convention center, the leadership of the organization hosting the conference hosted a special dinner in one of the reservable ballrooms at the Cuba Libre Restaurant. I believe it may have been the Havana Ballroom. There was plenty of food, drinks, and mingling. The Cuba Libre Restaurant staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening for our event, we first mingled around the tables and near the cash bar. There were a bunch of large tables that we began to fill out. As our program began and announces made and awards given out, appetizers were passed out. We were offered Guacamole Cubano, Mama Amelia's Empanadas, and Shrimp Cocktail which we passed around to the entire table. Personally, I skipped the guacamole and shrimp dishes but absolutely loved the empanadas. Yum! Then, an individual Cuban House Salad was passed out with red wine vinaigrette. This was also quite tasty. Next came the entrees including a choice of Salmon Paradiso, Ropa Vieja, Citrus Chicken, or Paella Vegetariana. I was trying to decide between the Ropa Vieja (beef brisket) and the Citrus Chicken. While the Citrus Chicken sounded perfect, I asked the serving staff their advice, and they recommended the Ropa Vieja for a true taste of Cuba. I was happy that I did even though it may have been more heavy and with a kick than I was expecting. I'm still glad I ordered it though. It was wonderfully prepared! And then, everyone received Cuban Flan for dessert. The Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar celebrates Cuban heritage and explores Cuban flavors, music, art, and traditions. The mission of the restaurant is to provide an "escape" to Havana through exciting food and beverages and entertainment experiences to celebrate the Cuban people and their culture. Orlando hosts one of several of this restaurant around the United States. This restaurant is in the midst of the Pointe Orlando. You can find details on their website: https://cubalibrerestaurant.com/en/orlando. You can find menus, entertainment, blogs, make reservations, specials, and more. The Cuba Libre Restaurant is open for brunch on weekends from 12 PM to 4 PM, for dinner Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 4 PM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM. Happy Hour is at the bar and bar tables on weekdays from 5 PM to 6 PM and weekends from 4 PM to 6 PM. They have a special Chef's Tasting menu during dinner. They also host weekend nightlife and shows on Fridays with a live band from 7:30 PM to 12:15 AM and a DJ and dancing from 10 PM to 2 AM on both Fridays and Saturdays. It was certainly a great event and a fun place to be!

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.
