    Almost no chicken

The thinnest slice of chicken in the sandwich. Between two large buns. It was not worth it.

It's a small restaurant, you can eat inside, takeout or drive thru. Food is fresh and very tasty. Empada was tasty, but the meat one was cold inside. The chocolate cake had a delicious topping and filling, but the cake was very dry (I have some cake recipes in my YouTube channel). Staff are friendly.

It's our first time dining a La Granja. Food smelled great while we were looking over the menu. There's no table that can seat more than 4 people at once. There's a salsa bar and sauces and oil in the back of restaurant. We had steak plate, seafood gumbo, & beef noodle. Decent portion. My son liked the beans but not the steak because he eats his steak med rare and their are very well done. But hubby liked his steak plate. My daughter ate all of her seafood gumbo so I guess she liked it. I like the texture of my noodle but the beef was a bit dry and tough. I do like their fried plantain, good texture and not greasy. Everything was fresh and they definitely uses lots of onion in the meal and salsa. We will be back to try different dishes.

All was delish! Fish on the bone, chicken and garlic fish and shrimp! Wonderful plate wear. It was like fine dining with fast food prices.

This walk-in area was a fast food feel, but the taste and plate-wear was fine dining! I'm a foodie. And prior to writing this review I was thinking I may be just writing a good review because that day I was super hungry. It's been 24 hours now and all I can say is WOW!!!!! It's legit good (as I'm nibbling left overs) Not too many good homemade food places around (I'm not local tho), but this little chain will NOT disappoint! There were enough Cubans in the house to know that somethings gonna taste good!!! I got the chicken, fish on the bone and the garlic fish and shrimp. All delicious!!! The garlic fish and shrimp was a little too salty but with all the trimmings it tasted better. The RICE is perfect! If a joint can't make rice, then everything else is gonna suffer!!!!! Prepare to spend $40 if you are a family of 4 that wanna just get the whole chicken with a bunch of sides. If you have BIG eaters prepare to spend $60. Still not bad for real food

Delious Peruvian food. They have a wide array of dishes and they are all delicious. This is a new store in Poinciana and it was very much needed in this restaurant desert. Hardly any good restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and courteous and the prices are $. You can get a quater chicken with rice nd beans for 5 dollars. Thats pretty cheap. Their staek and fish dishes are very delicious. You must try

I had no idea what to expect. My mouth was dealt a Peruvian flavor explosion that now makes me want to visit Peru. I admit when I walked in I was a bit overwhelmed my the menu. I had a question & discovered the workers knew Spanish & I didn't. They finally found me someone who spoke a little English. That led me to order combo #7. By the way, the fact that they only spoke Spanish made it an even more fun, cultural experience for me. My combo came with a large, beaten & flattened chicken breast grilled & seasoned. There were also plantains, black beans, rice, & a drink for $11.25. While I waited for my order to be individually prepared, I helped myself to the salsa bar with all sorts of tasty salsas to try. At the table I familiarized myself with several sauces. One was white garlicky, one was green jalapeño, one was mellowed red hot sauce. The food arrived piping hot. The flattened, seasoned, grilled chicken breast was worth the price of admission. It was so big & so tasty. I hated to see it end..yes, I wanted more. The plantains were perfectly cooked & sugary, caramelized, & sticky. The black beans & rice were average. That is until I started experimenting by adding the sauces to them. The flavors were magnificent. Viva Peru!!

La Granja is such a surprise! It look like any other fast food restaurant, but it is more than that. The food is DELICIOUS. It's authentic Peruvian food but if you're picky, I'm sure you'll still enjoy yourself. We got the chicken noodle soup which was filled with potatoes, carrots, & tender chicken. The rice bowl was full of flavor with beans, corn, & peppers. & the 1/2 lb chicken special was great with tender chicken, flavorful beans, & fried plantains. Highly recommend!!

Great tasty food thats bursts with flavor, good service and a a little small but clean place (fits 40 people). La Granja will be my new latin food destination whenever Im in Kissimmee. This place is truly Kissimmee's hidden gem and a real authentic latin food.

Churrasco with yellow rice and red beans

Ok so I had to write a review because I have been here a few times and I have been to one in Hallandale Beach. I must say this is the worst restaurant I have been to. They obviously pull a bait and switch with the churrasco steak. I ordered the churrasco steak meal a few times and it WAS NOT what I ordered. The meat not only had no flavor but was thin as paper. You can tell it was not churrasco steak. The yellow rice was so hard it was barely edible. The sauces were horrible. I bought a bunch of different sauces and all of them were overboarded with vinegar. It was gross. This place is over priced with horrible food. They bait and switch you and give you horrible food. The one by Miami was amazing but this is just plain waste of money. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I been here a few times and it's been a waste of money every time.

We ordered to go because we're waiting for a Lyft.

The restaurant itself is cute and well-decorated, and it wasn't busy when we visited (Thursday around 6:30PM). Our server was friendly and attentive, and when we asked where the chef was from, she said Peru--which we later found out wasn't true (an important detail you'll soon see why). Food & Experience We ordered a variety of dishes to try: What we loved: * Sushi Acevichado - Great flavor and well-prepared. * Torta de Chocolate & Mousse de Maracuyá - Both desserts were delicious. What disappointed us: * Sopa de Pollo - The soup was loaded with potatoes, which wasn't an issue, but when we asked if it could be split into two bowls, the server said no. Instead, she offered to bring an extra bowl for us to do it ourselves, which felt like an odd policy. * Lomo Saltado - The charcoal flavor was so overpowering that it wasn't enjoyable, and the fries didn't taste homemade. * Aeropuerto - Not to my liking at all. The chicken was overcooked, and the chaufa's flavor was off, likely due to a different soy sauce (siyau) being used. * Trio (Fried Calamari, Chaufa de Pollo, Ceviche de Pescado) - The fried calamari arrived cold and gooey, the chaufa had the same flavor issue as the Aeropuerto, and the ceviche was just okay. When the chef came to our table, we asked what part of Peru he was from--and that's when we found out he wasn't actually Peruvian. This might explain why some of the traditional Peruvian flavors were missing or off. Would we come back? Probably not. There are so many better Peruvian restaurants we've tried. If we're in the area, we might consider giving it another shot with different dishes, but we wouldn't go out of our way to visit again. (Nice atmosphere, good desserts, but underwhelming Peruvian flavors.)

I was invited by some relatives for late lunch and even at 2pm, the place was packed so I already knew it had to be good. As far as food goes, the servers were friendly enough to help me navigate the menu and land on the seafood options. I had the Arroz con Mariscos and it was presented beautifully, was sizable, and most importantly had incredible flavor. The calamari was a highlight of the dish. It was cooked perfectly. My family enjoyed their food as well and cleared their plates. Though I can't recall what they ordered, I know it was delicious. I stole bites. The plantain side dish also stands out in my mind as a must! I don't live particularly close by and it was a hike coming out but I have it book marked for a future pop in!

The place is very clean, the decor is minimal yet neat. Service is friendly and warm. The food, however, absolutely takes the cake! Whether it's the flavors, the portions or the presentation, these guys nailed it perfectly. We ordered the Salchipapa as appetizer (comes with a serving of fries, corn and salsa verde). For entrees I ordered their Trio de Mariscos and the husband changed his mind and got the Pollo Saltado instead. I should have asked about the portion size because I was expecting a little bit each of calamari, chaufa de mariscos and white fish ceviche; what arrived was this HUGE platter with three deep bowls stuffed full with each of the three dishes. I could only muster enough appetite to finish the ceviche and nibble a little from the other two dishes. The husband couldn't finish his Pollo saltado either and we had to request take away containers for the remaining food. This, considering we're both foodies. These guys take their portion sizes very seriously. As far as the flavor goes, the food is absolutely delicious! The ceviche was the right amount of tangy, spicy goodness. The fried rice was perfectly spiced and balanced. The man loved his pollo saltado. The calamari had the perfect amount of crunch and the Salchipapa was delicious too! Both the salsa verde and the cilantro sauce were top notch. I also tried the Andean Black whiskey for the first time. It has an interesting flavor profile indeed. It starts off strong, has a smoky middle note and a smooth, sweet vanilla aftertaste. All in all, we now have some awesome memories of Peruvian food thanks to Memories of Peru. This was undeniably a good choice we made. Definitely returning.
