It's been a while since I've been here. I use to go inside and eat before COVID. The staff were mostly friendly and it's family oriented so any age is welcome in this small restaurant. This time, I ordered through Uber Eats. We ordered the steak Super Bowl and the 1/2 chicken with French fries and a soda. Both were good. Really there were no issues except I can't believe a can of soda was almost $4 and they sent a drink in a cup. Other than that, no complaints. read more

It's our first time dining a La Granja. Food smelled great while we were looking over the menu. There's no table that can seat more than 4 people at once. There's a salsa bar and sauces and oil in the back of restaurant. We had steak plate, seafood gumbo, & beef noodle. Decent portion. My son liked the beans but not the steak because he eats his steak med rare and their are very well done. But hubby liked his steak plate. My daughter ate all of her seafood gumbo so I guess she liked it. I like the texture of my noodle but the beef was a bit dry and tough. I do like their fried plantain, good texture and not greasy. Everything was fresh and they definitely uses lots of onion in the meal and salsa. We will be back to try different dishes. read more

La Granja me please!! I had such great food here I ordered a 40 piece plain chicken wings and I it was quick and efficient with the pick up. This place is always super busy so we called ahead and ordered it for pick up. All I needed to do was pull into the drive-through and let them know I had to pick up. I signed for my payment and I headed home. They gave me a garlic sauce that was amazing! I also had a queso Arepa, which was delicious! I must do better with taking photos of my food, but in this instance looks would have very little to do with anything. It does come with free drinks. I'm about four of them. They are fountain drink drinks, which it did not used to be this way but they have changed it. Not really a big fan of that but nonetheless, it did what it needed to do. When you go in at the counter, they have a place where you can get more condiments which I think it's great. Not much of an ambience when it comes to the aesthetics however, the food is good. if you're in the space to have wings this is definitely an underrated place. It has great wings. read more

The garlic fish and shrimp was a little too salty but with all the trimmings it tasted better. The RICE is perfect! If a joint can't make rice, then everything else is gonna suffer!!!!! I had no idea what to expect. My mouth was dealt a Peruvian flavor explosion that now makes me want to visit Peru. I admit when I walked in I was a bit overwhelmed my the menu. I had a question & discovered the workers knew Spanish & I didn't. They finally found me someone who spoke a little English. That led me to order combo #7. By the way, the fact that they only spoke Spanish made it an even more fun, cultural experience for me. My combo came with a large, beaten & flattened chicken breast grilled & seasoned. There were also plantains, black beans, rice, & a drink for $11.25. While I waited for my order to be individually prepared, I helped myself to the salsa bar with all sorts of tasty salsas to try. At the table I familiarized myself with several sauces. One was white garlicky, one was green jalapeño, one was mellowed red hot sauce. The food arrived piping hot. The flattened, seasoned, grilled chicken breast was worth the price of admission. It was so big & so tasty. I hated to see it end..yes, I wanted more. The plantains were perfectly cooked & sugary, caramelized, & sticky. The black beans & rice were average. That is until I started experimenting by adding the sauces to them. La Granja is such a surprise! It look like any other fast food restaurant, but it is more than that. The food is DELICIOUS. It's authentic Peruvian food but if you're picky, I'm sure you'll still enjoy yourself. We got the chicken noodle soup which was filled with potatoes, carrots, & tender chicken. The rice bowl was full of flavor with beans, corn, & peppers. & the 1/2 lb chicken special was great with tender chicken, flavorful beans, & fried plantains. Highly recommend!! read more

Ok so I had to write a review because I have been here a few times and I have been to one in Hallandale Beach. I must say this is the worst restaurant I have been to. They obviously pull a bait and switch with the churrasco steak. I ordered the churrasco steak meal a few times and it WAS NOT what I ordered. The meat not only had no flavor but was thin as paper. You can tell it was not churrasco steak. The yellow rice was so hard it was barely edible. The sauces were horrible. I bought a bunch of different sauces and all of them were overboarded with vinegar. It was gross. This place is over priced with horrible food. They bait and switch you and give you horrible food. The one by Miami was amazing but this is just plain waste of money. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I been here a few times and it's been a waste of money every time. read more

This is the second time visiting this place. The first time, I wasn't too impressed with the food as it was very salty. I thought let's try something else, maybe it was a fluke. I go today to try another dish. It seemed like the guy taking the order had a hard time understanding simple things being asked. My friend ordered for us along with 2 drinks. I noticed that the drink (ordered last time) was more than what I paid so within 3 days, they changed the price. I asked for this guy to take only the drinks off the bill which hadn't even been taken out of the refrigerator yet. He goes oh im sorry we can't. The other dish I got was just as basic and disappointing as the first. This place is a joke and I would suggest going elsewhere. Clearly the owners don't care about retaining new customers. Today this place has disappointed me! I was waiting in the drive thru line to order food and there was 2 cars in front of me. Keep in mind they close at 10pm and it is 9pm as I am in line. They take the order of the 2 cars in front of me but once I get to the box to order at 9pm no one was answering, so I waited to drive up to the window. Once I got to the window the lady said we are closed and not taking your order. Extremely rude, starting with the fact the lady took the 2 cars in front of me, seen my car at the box and ignored me (could have said we were closed there instead), and then wouldn't even take my order. The french fries were perfectly fried, the Lomo Saltado was cooked to perfection, the sauces were made with love and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Brand new opening next to the wal-mart near the loop. Restaurants around this area are usually nice, cheddars , long horn , chillis... not this one. This is a small hole in the wall with nothing going for it, you walk in and it's loud reggaeton with curse words, and sexual references.... the cashiers don't all speak English, the cooks all standing around looking at the door and talking like if it was happy hour.... the menu is a screen that quickly changes to more menu items no time to read, after me and my girlfriend ordered the waitress didn't even bring us the food!!!!! What kind of Florida mall BS is that? I'm glad I didn't tip because the food was also awful on top of it being overpriced, the fried mixed seafood is 15 dollars and it's a frozen product, you can tell just by the breading... few breading falls apart from the seafood it doesn't stick to it like McDonald's chicken nuggets ...it was cooked to perfection but not worth 15 dollars , and I don't even know what the heck the huancaina potatoes are, the person in charge should really take a look at plates before they go out it's Idaho potato's thick sliced, on top of a romaine lettuce, covered with what looks like nacho cheese and garnished with a black olive...prolly the worst menu item I have ever ordered. When I was down in Kissimmee I went here a few times and enjoyed my meal each time. It was not extraordinary, but it was satisfying and flavorful. The last time I was there I ordered Beef Sauteéd with rice and maduros as sides. This dish is basically what Peruvians refer to as Lomo Saltado, but not quite as flavorful as that; still quite good though. I will continue to go back. read more

Unfortunately tonight they lost a loyal customer. I ordered 2 fish ceviche, and noticed the choclo (corn) was slimy and stinky. My husband has bad sinus problems so didn't notice the smell when opening it, so took a bite. He noticed it was slimy and the taste was off. That's when I checked my plate, and noticed the choclo was rotten, and it ruins the whole plate since they put all the other ingredients together, same juices in one plate. It saddens me they let themselves go. I immediately called the restaurant (la granja) and let them know about the problem, the lady tried to convince me that the corn was from the night before, and those are the natural juices from the corn. When I told her to explain why it stinks like rotten, and I told her my stepdad is peruan and makes these plates often, and assured me that's rotten, she proceeded to apologize. I was told to just contact DoorDash and get my refund. Or if I wanted them to remake the same meal for us, I simply told them they lost a customer, I'm sorry. So please do be careful, smell and feel your food before placing it in your mouth, for your own safety!!!! read more
