Great food with good service! Price is not bad at all. Tons of tv to view some sports.

Tonight's service by this woman was dismissive and discriminatory. We had to get our own items for our table, - she got my order wrong, than we get our drinks to the table -she came back charging us already for the drinks and did NOT ask if we wanted food or more drinks. We finally asked to speak to the manager- who finally made his way outside to our table. The manager was rather rude and dismissive! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO LA HACIENDA- the food is nasty, the service sucks and they barely can speak English. POOR SERVICE!!!

Rating 4.25 TLDR: Came here after a night in town, and was looking for late night tacos, so we stopped in. Honestly, was not disappointed. The tacos were great - yes I might have been drunk, and yes that might affect my judgement, but that what 4.25 stars is for. I will come again and see what's up. For now, I recommend stopping by if you're looking for late night tacos on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night. You will be satiated for sure. Not TLDR: I was dropping off my friend when I asked, "do you want to check if there are any late night taco trucks open?". To our fortune, we passed by La Hacienda and it was packed. That's a good sign. So we went in. Nothing fancy for us: beers and tacos was all we wanted. And beers and tacos was what we got. Dont be fancy about it. It's late, and you want some food. Not only did we get tacos, we got delicious tacos. So delicious, we went back for seconds. We got carnitas, asada, adobada, and chorizo. The chorizo and adobada were really good. The carnitas were good. The asada was okay but above average. Overall, I'll come back here again for a late night taco craving. You won't disappointed if that's what you're looking for.

Text from doordash driver showing me food he picked up from restaurant (before spill).

Again, today I was disappointed with my order. But this time it was the doordash driver.. Half of my soup spilled into the plastic bag it was delivered in. Sad thing is Tairena (Doordash driver) blamed the restaurant for not packaging the soup correctly. But yet Tairena's mistake was sending me a photo of my food when he picked up from restaurant and there was nothing spilled into the bag yet and/or on the bottom of bag. I also contacted the restaurant and the person who answered stated that she warned the doordash delivery person to please be careful because there were soups in the bag. She said the doordash driver said "yea, yea" grabbed the bag of food as if it was popcorn and walked out the door. My soup (what was left of it) was absolutely flavorful and tasted UHMAZING!! I had also ordered a carne asada super burrito for my grandson and he said La Hacienda never disappoints and tasted sooo good. Gracias La Hacienda por esta comida bien rica..

Came here on a Thursday April 11 the place was wonderful out and inside. Loved the scenery of the interior as well as the tables and decors. The service was very nice and funny. Why I gave it a three star the food i order which was the shrimp burrito but they didn't ask me if I wanted the shrimp wet burrito so they gave me the shrimp wet burrito plate so I ate it and the rice was old there was some hard rice. Then I ate the wet burrito the shrimp was cold didn't taste warm or hot it was cold and the avocado tasted frozen the only good on the plate was the beans.

    Botana Platter Appetizer Plate

My high school Spanish teacher brought us here 50+ years ago, and I brought several of my own high school Spanish classes here 30 years ago, so I thought I'd try it out again. The restaurant is still here, which amazes me. Obviously, it has changed somewhat. The interior boasts a full bar, and tonight was karaoke with plenty of patrons singing current popular Mexican and Cuban songs. We sat outside under the tent covering, and it was quite pleasant. I ordered the Botana Platter to share with a friend, and we could not finish it. So much food. Quite an assortment of items on the platter ranging from small tacos, tamale, enchilada, mole, chile colorado, chile verde, tostadas, rice, beans, etc. Lots of choices for a very reasonable price. The restaurant itself is rather worn and the furnishings pretty plain, but the servers were attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Not a drop left of my michelada. Frozen mug even!

All i can say is holy cow. By far the best burrito (super burrito with ground beef) that ive had in years. Food was hot. Soup was delicious wife ate all of her taco salad and confirmed was worth it. Not a soul in sight as far as other customers. What a shame! This place is amazing. A far drive from my usual location but wanted something different and very glad i did! Staff was friendly and regularly checked on us. Just all around a 10/10 experience. If you are looking for absolutley perfectly seasoned delicious mexican food go no further. Give this place a shot.

We were Looking around for a delicious Mexican food restaurant open late, and didn't have much luck until we drove by Rick's. Not only is it open until 1:30am, it also serves quality Mexican food and a full bar. I ordered the carne asada and my date ordered the fried tilapia and a carnitas taco. Both delicious, though the carne asada was a bit dry. I was satisfied though! I ordered a michelada with tajin which was THE BEST. I must also mention this restaurant is a Spanish karaoke bar on Friday's And that was great entertainment! I will definitely be back!! Anoche buscamos un ristorante mexicano que quedó abierto tarde. Encontramos a Rick's.

Steak plate. Comes with soup of the day too. Yummm!
    Sinh L.

It was my first time eating here. Came here with my sister in law and her husband. They usually get the steak plate that comes with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, steak, jalapeños, salsa, onions and tortilla. Also, it comes with soup of the day. We had corn chips I think and salsa dip and it was good!!! The chips were deep fried and they made it themselves and the salsa was on point! It had a good spicy kick to it and was just amazing. Lol. The soup of the day was good! The flavor was on point. It wasn't too salty or tasteless it was just right. We all ordered the steak plate. I thought the steak could have been more flavorful and it was a little overcook for me. I was expecting the rice to have more flavor to it too. My sis in law husband did say it tasted different that day (less flavor) usually it's not like that. Otherwise, the food was great! I would never thought of coming here to eat because it's kind of hidden. I would definitely come back and try their other food.

Been coming to this place for over 30 years. It hasn't missed a beat. The beer is brought in a large freezing cold mug. The hot sauce is tasty and hot. Are usually have the Carnitas but today I had the chili Colorado. Absolutely can't go wrong, some of the best Colorado I've ever had. I wish Ricks lived closer to me, and Id eat there more often.

I found Rosa Madera when searching for "queso" in Yelp...(I really was wanting some queso)…read more Anyways, funnily enough, I read through the menu when I got here and ended up getting nachos in place of the queso...that's fine though, it gave me an excuse to come back another day. It's a nice looking place inside, especially considering its general location. They were busy even at an off hour mid-week, but I can see why because the food is great and so is the atmosphere. My first visit, I tried the following: Enchilada Verde (Lunch Menu), Mini Birria Tacos (Lunch Menu), and Nachos de la Casa (with asada). They also brought out complimentary chicharrones de harina, which was especially nice because I was super hungry! My second visit I had the following: Queso Con Rajás Dip, Los Favoritos, and the Burrito de Carnitas (Lunch Menu). I ended up liking the nachos way more than the queso. I wasn't expecting the queso to just be the consistency of slightly melted cheese. I also wish they were a bit more generous with the chips since I ran out of chips way sooner than the dips. No complaints on my main dish portions though! Really loved most things I've tried. The presentation of my dishes I've ordered here, the Enchilada Verde and the Burrito de Carnitas, was great too. The chicken was just slightly too dry for the Enchilada, but the flavor made up for it. Only complaint is while the service was nice, it was SO slow both times I've been here. It took forever to get the check and when they did bring out the card reader you can't see the receipt, only a total. Then their lowest automatic tipping button is set at over 22% (with two higher percent options), which is honestly crazy to me since most places start at around 18%. I way overtipped on accident the first time I came. I think it's highly likely they get overtipped for this reason, which is nice for them but kind of not fair to the customer. I'll continue to return!

The nachos contained tomato, onion, cilantro, guacamole, jalapenos, radishes, carne asada, and cheese under fresh tortilla chips. All the ingredients were of high quality and tasted delicious together. Complimentary chicharrones de harina were served with hot sauce. This is the first time I've been to a restaurant that served complimentary chicharrones de harina. Chicharrones de harina are a Mexican snack that are made from fried wheat flour. Service was good as the workers were friendly and polite. They were short staffed so service was slower than if they were properly staffed. It was surprisingly busy around 2pm on a weekday.

I visited this past Saturday and it was quite busy inside like it always is. The restaurant is large enough to fit a lot of people, so finding a seat isn't an issue. To order, you line up in front of the register and wait until they call you. Once it was my turn, I ordered a Super Burrito with Al Pastor, which is my favorite protein choice there. Usually I order 2 tacos with my burrito but I was saving room for Korean bbq that day! The Super Burrito comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I also ordered a medium pineapple agua fresca, which paired perfectly with my burrito. After ordering, you're handed a number to take to your table so the servers know where to bring your food. As I'm waiting for my food, I helped myself to the self-serve chip bar. The chip bar is my favorite thing about the restaurant besides the food and quick service. I always get loads of both the white and red pickled onions, and some salsa to go with my chips. They offer many sides to choose from so that anyone can customize their meal to their liking. The pickled onions have the perfect level spice and acidity to them which helps with cutting down the greasiness you may get from a burrito. I also like to snack on them for fun too! The food comes out extremely quickly. When I finished placing my order and brought my number to my table, I went to the self-serve bar right after to get some chips. Not even 2-3 minutes later, I came back to my table with my burrito already there! The burrito was absolutely delicious and piping hot. It's the perfect size for me and eating it with the pineapple agua fresca and some chips makes it a perfect meal! Coming to La Favorita Taqueria is always a treat and I appreciate the quick customer service, self-serve bar, and delicious food! They didn't just walk by like frazzled, hurried workers like most restaurants pushing through the crowds. They actually gave me a nice smile and said welcome, and then walked by. And then I got to the reception area found that there was already a pretty big crowd at around the 5:30 PM or so I guess a lot of early birds come to eat there on Sunday. The receptionist asked for how many and said you'd be like a 20 minute wait and there was chairs where people were waiting but it was only like a 15 minute wait. The server was fast with the chips and salsa and ice water and then soon the waiter came and took my order. He was really quick and witty, fun to talk to. What I really enjoyed was as the noise of the table Near quieted down and they left. I saw a young man cleaning up the table and getting it ready for the next group of people. He was dressed really nice and had a tie on. Having been in restaurants most of my life I said to myself, I bet you he works with the owners or something. And I said to him, are your related to people that own the place ? he said my parents own this place. He was very friendly and polite. He told me a tiny bit about the restaurant and how everything had been since 1970, much older than he was, he was only a sophomore in high school I think. I never really got his name, but I was kind of proud of him because he was working hard at his family's restaurant. I ordered probably something bigger than I could eat because I had to take leftovers home, but it was really a tasty meal, and they're coming out with more chips and salsa without being asked, probably didn't help as well as a second lemonade. It's really impressive when you have a well oiled machine and it appeared to me that the people that worked there seem to be happy so that's always a good sign of good management. Came here for a 2nd time for brunch with my Mother in Law right at open. We were first here at 11,…read moregreated to beautiful music and it wasnt crowded at all so we were seated promptly. They have a brunch menu but we both ended up ordering from the main menu. She had Camarones de Borrachos and I had La Torta Gorda Carnitas. Both were extremely flavorful. The Camarones was a new recipe apparently. More chipotle flavored with a slight kick. From the looks the shrimp were very plump. My Torta was great. Bread was nice and butter and the carnitas were magnificent as advertised by our friendly waiter, Dustin. I also had a Horchatalada which was a sweet way to wash down this heavy food. Great experience and i cant wait to come back and try something else.

From what I could see, the restaurant looked really inviting and I appreciated that they have a dog friendly patio. I always have my pup with me and that is the main reason we chose this location. I liked the style and design of the interior of the restaurant and overall it had a very nice vibrant feel. The staff was also warm and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag. The Torta Gorda was the biggest disappointment. The meat was very bland and seemed barely seasoned while the bread had become soggy by the time we got it home. There just wasn't much to it. The mole also missed the mark for me. The sauce lacked the rich complex flavors I expect from a good mole and the chicken was noticeably dry. The rice, beans and esquites were ok. The nachos on the other hand were quite good. They were flavorful and satisfying and although I thought they were a little heavy-handed with the radishes, I mostly enjoyed the flavors. For for three people the bill came to around $100 after tip which felt a bit steep, especially considering the overall quality of the meal. While this visit didn't live up to my expectations, I'm willing to give Polanco Cantina another shot and probably dine in next time. I have a much better idea now of which dishes to steer clear of and the restaurant itself seemed promising so I'm hoping the experience is improved when the food is enjoyed fresh from the kitchen.
