From our experience, I'd say this is a good place to come for drinking, but not so much for dining. The ambience is cool, with live and canned music, cheap drinks. However, dining was not as enjoyable, partly due to our inexperience. We ordered some munchy food, like French fries and "Platinos Fritos." However, these were not of the freshly cooked variety we are accustomed to at home. These were the dried, thinly sliced, crunchy in-a-bag-type variety, with some red pepper seasoning. Bad enough, but we also discovered that the BBQ ribs ordered also came with them on the side. Why the waitress did not alert us of this fact is another mark against them. Additionally, the ribs were swimming in BBQ sauce, apparently in an attempt to disguise the fact that these were fairly dry, reheated ribs from the day before or so. read more
