This place in Los Angeles is really good, especially for hookah. The hookah was smooth and enjoyable to smoke. I had a great time with a couple of my friends during my vacation to LA. One of my buddies suggested this place, so we tried it, and it turned out to be a great experience!!

This was a fantastic experience! The ambience was beautiful, although you would not expect it from the parking lot. The interior room has a lot of great blue light, the patio house has adorable porch lights! I felt safe here, I wasn't being harassed with my friends. There was a lot of space in order to have private conversations. The service was wonderful. The owner helped us pick the kind of Shisha that we wanted. Even the hookahs have their own cute little iron so the ash does not get into the Shisha. The price of a hookah is reasonable! Please note that there is a maximum of three people per hookah at 29.99. There are chips and other kinds of dry goods. I wish hummus had been available however, I don't think they have a kitchen. I will certainly be visiting again.

I've been to a lot of hookah places in LA, but Blue Lounge is awesome. The prices are very competitive and they have a lot of parking space and have huge patio area if you want to sit outside. It's a great place to relax, meet up with friends, or just enjoy your evening.

Tonight was my first time at Blue Lounge. I had learned that it recently changed ownership and was eager to check out a lounge near me, as there are very few near me in Downtown. When I pulled up to the location, I was pleased to see that there was ample parking available. Upon arriving, the location looked quite small, but as we walked in I was surprised to see how much space there was, especially the back patio! The owner was kind enough to walk us through the location, and show us around, allowed us to choose our pipes and even helped us decide on some new mixes to try out. In under 7 minutes, our hookah was brought out to us with a smile. GG was great about checking on us throughout the session, and my friend and I were both extremely happy with our bowls. We had about an hour and a half session, 2 rounds of 3 coals each on an apple on top wind cover heating device. My hookah was still smoking extremely smoothly by the time I was leaving, it could have probably lasted another 30 minutes. My friend's hookah was cooked at an hour 30, which in my opinion is the time of an average session. As someone who smokes close to 5 hookah bowls a day at home and refuses to try out new lounges, I was really grateful I went to Blue Lounge. I had my own reservations of the lounge prior to tonight because of the negative reviews I had read on here, but I truly believe that this lounge is on its way to becoming a low key hotspot. Whether you're an occasional smoker or an enthusiast, I feel that the service and quality is top tier for everyone alike. I'll definitely be back here again. I was in town to meet my friends and discovered this amazing hookah lounge. As I pulled up first thing I noticed was ample of parking space. The place is huge and has a back patio which lights up like a stary night. This is one of the cool places I have visited this weekend. They have outstanding spectrum of hookah flavors and the ambiance is superb. The service I got from GG was top-notch, I believe I got my hookah at my table within 5 mins, he gave some amazing mixes and flavor recommendations such an altruistic personality. I would highly recommend this place if you want to have some good time or you plan for a game night. I'd definitely go back to this place and highly recommended for avid smokers. I believe the new management is a game changer for this place. It's like finding a diamond.

I have been a regular ever since the lounge opened and one thing I can say is that service is even more superb than before. They have the best hookahs and customer service in LA. I stumbled on LA Hookah Lounfe thanks to Yelp, and at first I wasn't totally sure if I should go in. Pulling up it gave major "are we sure this is open?" vibes. The outside is super dark and from the car I was questioning if I should even try it. But once I opened the door total surprise. It was completely safe inside and had a laid-back, cozy vibe that caught me off guard in the best way. When we got there, there were only a couple of other tables but it started to fill up slowly after. Still, the place never felt too packed or overwhelming. Just chill vibes and low-key energy perfect for relaxing. They do have board games, which I thought was cool but they're kept locked up so you have to go ask the staff to access them. A tiny inconvenience but not a dealbreaker. Honestly, it would've been nice if they were just out and ready to grab but I get it. Now let's talk about the hookah I now consider myself a hookah amateur, I was surprised by the amount of options they had. There were so many flavors I'd never heard of, plus different types of setups. One of them was themed after cartoon characters like Labubu or ziMomo (I forget the exact name but it was so fun and random in the best way). I had no idea hookah came in such creative setups! Service was fine no complaints. They were helpful when we asked about the hookah types and got us set up quickly. All in all this is definitely one of those hidden gems you'd probably never walk into unless you knew it was there. But I'm so glad I did. It's not flashy or fancy, but it's the kind of spot that makes you want to stay for hours and unwind. I'll definitely be back. read more

10/10. A friend and I were cruising the town and wanted to smoke hookah. We literally, googled "hookah near me" & this place popped up. The host was amazing, very tentative and friendly. They have games inside and quite a bit of flavors to choose from. Lastly , there is a patio with heaters! I'll def be returning! P.S. the music is good and the parking is solid too!! If I could put zero stars I would . I can tolerate a lot but I CANNOT and WILL NOT tolerate racism. This business clearly has fake reviews because there's no way all these people (no photos & no yelp activity) had a 5 star experience . Me n my husband love hookah when we are traveling and we travel a lot. This is probably the best hookah we have tried in a long time. The customer service was very nice. Hookah was ok nothing great about it. Hookah cost is is significantly higher than average . In addition, there is a service fee added to your bill and on top of taxes. The fee is approximately 21-22% of purchase. They only take cash so bring it with you or pay $5 to withdraw from the ATM on-site. The patio area is pretty and clean. They have heaters and the service was ok. The front desk person was rude when I asked about the difference between cost per menu and what I was charged. It lacked transparency so I hope this review provides that before you decide to visit. This is definitely a place for you and friends to hangout. Gaurav (GG) the new owner is great! Amazing customer service and the widest selection of tobacco I've seen in any hookah lounge! The lounge is open late hours and has been a great place to get work done or relax after a long day (the WiFi speeds are great). GG is very flexible with the music selection and is amenable to whatever genre you're in the mood for. As an Armenian, I know my hookah and this place is the best hookah lounge in all of LA. I highly recommend Blue Lounge to everyone (from beginners to experienced smokers.) The lounge has both an inside and outside area, so regardless of weather, there's somewhere to sit. The vibe is midcentury, neglected, gloomy, and masculine. (I'd bet that, fifty years ago, 7&7s were served here by the puncheon.) It's not the best stocked bar, so one shouldn't try to get to fancy with the mixology. The wine list is rather threadbare considering it's a French restaurant, and they were even tapped out of Kronenbourg 1664 -- the only French beer on offer -- on my visit. Cocktails are not very Gallic, either, mostly featuring vodka, tequila, and mezcal to appeal to local tastes. (While the French aren't the biggest cocktail drinkers, I'd expect to see the French 75, Kir/Kir Royale, Boulevardier, and Sidecar at the very least.) Honestly, 321 Lounge could be attached to any kind of nondescript restaurant, or no restaurant at all. There's nothing particularly French about it. But that also doesn't really really matter. Taix and 321 Lounge has a special authenticity that has nothing to do with France. As far as food goes, the specials for the brief happy hour aren't very exciting (Tempura shrimp? Again, not very French...), and it's best to stick to the restaurant's main menu. Service was direct and no-nonsense, somewhat earthy, but friendly. I was taken care of well. When I entered, there was only one other table occupied; when I left, the place was on its way to being packed. I must say, I really enjoyed the dark, throwback feel of the 321 Lounge, with its wood paneling and brick walls, faux barrels and faux barrel vaults. Places like this are rapidly vanishing in Los Angeles, so I hope 321 Lounge and Taix will stick around for a good long time to come.
