We were looking for a place that met our level of expectations for a Mexican restaurant and this certainly did. They make their tortillas from scratch, you can literally see them make it as you walk through the doors. Service was fast and responsive, our server was very nice and gave us as much time as we needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the biggest Mexican restaurant we have been to, the ceilings are high and feels open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would recommend this place for sure.

The Steven was very good! Lots of flavor, the La Huerta was very favorable! The side steak didn't have any flavor just tasted like plain meat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was very packed and the noise was very low which I liked![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Maria was very nice but hard to find!

We decided to pop in before an event and just get a margarita. The drink was so strong and tasty. We weren't able to eat because there was food at the event that we attended but we certainly want to try some food next time. Service was smooth and efficient and the ambiance was very comforting and clean.

Honestly, we were hesitant to go because of all the previously failed restaurants in this location. However, after seeing some positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. I would totally recommend this place. The staff worked hard and were friendly. We went on a night with live music, which was a total delight. The performer was actually really good! The food was good, and the portions were large. The chips and salsa were above the normal standard fare. We returned on Taco Tuesday and definitely recommend the El Pastor. The beef was good; the chicken was a bit dry but still of good quality. There's outside patio seating and plenty of indoor and bar seating as well. Come support this place!

We love the La Huerta in Fort Smith so we came in to give them a try. We started with the cheese dip with meat. It was delicious. Then I had the Baja bowl which was good. My husband and oldest daughter shared the large Steven special. They reported it was amazing. I tried the top shelf margarita. It was great and I loved the prices on the margaritas. Service was amazing. Food arrived quick and our waitress was very attentive. She didn't let chips or drinks run empty. I liked the ambience. It is chill and is good for a variety of people. They have a large space for groups. They are kid friendly. Also they have outdoor seating for those who love a patio, like myself. We will be back again soon.

This place was amazing! I'm so glad we went. The food was so delicious and our server Maria made us smile and had great recommendations. I ordered chicken Burrito California and it was more than enough food. They also had a special on tacos so I ordered a few of those to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also had live music when we were there which added to the fun atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm definitely coming back!

My first visit to La Huerta was great! Our large party was seated quickly and served well. The menu was extensive giving you choices for any craving. I chose the enchilada de crema with chicken filling and cream sauce. My friends had the taco salad with a delicious chicken filling served in a unique taco shell! Another ordered the Baja bowl. She raved about the flavor of the grilled chicken served on rice, black beans and corn. I will try this next time!! The chips and salsa were a tasty appetizer as we awaited our main course! You have to give La Huerta a try!!!

One bean at a time......... La Huerta is a large Mexican restaurant cartel based in Arkansas, with many restaurants scattered across the northeastern part of that state. There is one in Poteau, OK. Now they are in Broken Arrow to get a piece of the already overloaded Mexican restaurant market. They are a good solid Mexican restaurant but don't expect to be blown away. Most all of their restaurants are rated 4.0 - 4.3 on Google. I have dined at several and found that to be a reasonable assessment of the food and service. Most Yelp reviews of La Huerta's locations are not as generous with the stars. The new restaurant in Broken Arrow is in that ballpark of Google's 4 star rating. The interior of the restaurant is pretty much as it was when Casa Grande operated in the building. It is a nice roomy modern dining facility with a bar. A great building, large parking lot and a perfect high exposure accessible location for most any type of restaurant. The food.. Ask for salsa picante. It had a fresh taste (peppers, cilantro, garlic, etc.) with a nice level of heat. The mild salsa is tomato and garlic. My wife had a "pick two" combo from the lunch special: a relleno and a tamale w/beans and rice. The relleno was very good. I had the Enchiladas La Huerta: 3 chicken enchiladas with a habanero cream sauce. This was a light flavorful plate of well-seasoned chicken, rolled in corn tortillas and covered with bright orange mild habanero sauce. It came with a small bowl of charro beans and rice. The service was disappointing, but adequate. The waitress took our order. Our food was served by someone from the kitchen. My bowl of beans came without a spoon. Our waitress had vanished after taking our order. In the meantime, I found a long-handled iced tea spoon in the tableware packet. Not the ideal tool to eat the bean soup with. When the waitress did finally show up to deliver the check, I was done. I had eaten the bowl of beans with the small, long-handled tea spoon...pretty much....one bean at a time. Not my top choice for Mexican food in Broken Arrow, but it might be yours. Be sure to ask for a spoon before the waitress disappears.

I found it when he asked if there was a place I'd want to go to and I suggested somewhere in west BA because he was loving way east and I'm in Tulsa. I looked on Yelp and suggested Los Vaqueros, which just happened to already be one of his favorite places. We have come back many times together since our first meeting because the service is solid with friendly staff, the food is reliably always good, and we like hopping next door when we are done and shooting some pool. He always asks them to make shrimp quesadillas. They aren't on the menu, but they will make them and they are good! The shrimp are large and juicy. I love a lunch special when we've come for lunch (like we did for our first date), but at dinner time, I tend to lean towards the margarita chicken. Super good. A nice portion of grilled veggies, and the chicken is always moist. I like that it is pretty colorful on here. I told him that was something g that o liked when we came here on our first date. But they keep lighting lower, so it's not shockingly colorful. I just really enjoy it here!

They had a live band, and Gabby the clown was making the coolest balloon yo-yos. She spent some one-on-one time with little mama showing her tricks, which made her night. Our server was 10/10, food was 10/10, and we shared the Monterey Jack steak and bacon wrapped (yes, bacon wrapped) chicken fajitas and they were MONEY. Portion size was huge too -- we still have leftovers today. The $5 margarita special was strong and tasty, and little miss even got to ride her first mechanical bull. Safe to say we'll definitely be back.

Since this was our first visit here, we had to order our comparison dishes. Those are guacamole, birria tacos and street tacos. When we received the chips and salsa, I noticed the salsa lacked some cilantro, but had a unique flavor, different from our other favorite Mexican food establishments. My wife was really fond of it, but said it was ok. I really liked it, even if it lacked cilantro. The guacamole came out and it looked like my guac that make at home. It was very good, didn't need any additional salt and was not overpowering in lime. I'd give it 10/10. My wife ordered the chicken street tacos. She said they were the best out of all the places we go. The chicken was flavorful and the tortillas didn't fall apart. It came with a tomatillo crema that was infused with jalapeños and was too spicy for her. I got the Birria tacos and they were especially good with the crema. The birria consumé was excellent. The rice was fluffy and tender and the refried beans were on point. They serve Coke products which includes Coke Zero and they were quick with the refills. We will definitely put this place as #2 on our list of go-to Mexican cuisine establishments. They are located in the Rose District, so the prices will be slightly higher, but it's still worth the visit.

We were literally told that it came premade and frozen and was "just fried." Obviously, he ordered the street tacos instead. We sat at the bar and it took a bit to get waited on but the manager jumped in and gave us water and silverware. I liked my Blackberry-Rosemary Marg but I honestly didn't feel like it had much tequila in it. The regular marg was just OK. As a young lady walked by our table, I asked for the hot stuff. She quickly returned with a generous bowl and a warning about its effectiveness. My wife chimed in with "don't worry, he can handle it." The friendly young lady was Christina the owner. I talked with her before we left the restaurant. I was curious about the restaurant's history. It used to be out on Highway 51 towards Coweta, then several years ago, they relocated to Tiger Plaza on Kenosha. Her and her husband bought the restaurant recently. She explained that even though they retained the name and menu they are in no way related to the other Los Mariachis Mexican Restaurant operating in Jenks. She emphasized that. The restaurant has a burrito they call the Burrito El Bravo. It is filled with grilled beef, homemade chorizo, refried beans, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo. The pico de gallo was made with fresh chopped jalapenos, lots of jalapenos. The overstuffed burrito was then covered with queso. Fresh cut crunchy potato chips came with the meal. The house made zesty chorizo stood out to make the burrito the most flavorful, spicy, meat filled tortilla I have had. A stimulating savory combination, but not so hot that it was difficult to eat. It didn't need any additional salsa though. You want some delicious meaty, spicy Mexican food, order this burrito! My wife had the "Build Your Own Lunch." Her selection was a ground beef taco and enchilada. The enchilada was covered with green sauce, beans and rice on the side. She enjoyed great meal.
