I would not eat here. The food is bland and it's just bad customer service here. I told them that I did not like the Shrimp Seafood enchiladas and they took it back but I did not get a replacement.

Came here on a Friday afternoon, and their fish tacos. The service wasn't the most attentive, you kinda just find your own spot to sit and wait for the food to come out like it's a fast food restaurant, but the vibe is like a sticky laidback bar that specializes in margaritas. There's a salsa bar which is nice. The actual tacos aren't bad, I like the lettuce crunch that comes with the fish. Wish the batter was a bit crispier.

I have driven past this place 100's of times and finally stopped in. Location is quick service spot. Lots of seating. Lots of TVs. Plus a bar area. Daily specials with reasonable pricing. On my day it was $3 enchiladas. Did a chicken with cream sauce and a ground beef with verde. I was pretty surprised with the amount of flavor from both enchiladas. Also had a side of Chips and queso. Overall not bad for a cheap lunch!

As you can zoom in on the quesadillas you can see the tortilla didn't even hit the grill. The enchiladas were soggy and the rice was hard

First time coming in and ordered Frozen Margaritas, enchiladas, quesadillas and queso is what we ordered. This food is not good. I asked to talk to a manager and then cashier pointed to another girl saying "shes the closest to a manager we have" so this means they don't have managers on staff? Food came out cold, didn't look appetizing and the frozen margaritas tasted bad. Asked for a refund and they questioned why and refused to give a refund on the food, only refunded the margaritas lol our food came out in less than 5 minutes.... Only pre-prepared food that was cooked the night before comes out that quick and the tortilla on the quesadilla wasn't even warm/grilled. Very disappointing and embarrassing for them for asking me if I'm insane because "everyone loves their (bland) food".

"Huge" seafood burrito. Mostly filled with rice, two shrimp, and some fish.

There's quirky charm to this place. Something about the ripped bench seating, run-down arcade machines, and dark unattended salsa station gives it a unique vibe. Despite the somewhat warm room temperature on a summer night, this place seems like a fun hang out place for the locals, especially with a bar that serves frozen margaritas. We just came here to try the food and hang out with some new friends. Food is ordered up front and then brought out to you. Drinks, salsa, and condiments are all self serve. I ordered the "Huge" seafood burrito for a moderate price of about $15 (July 2023). The burrito was a decent size, but was mostly filled with rice with 2 (maybe 3) pieces of shrimp and some fish. It was good, but I'll try something else if I ever come back. The complimentary chips were a bit stale, but it's complimentary. The service was disappointing, even after tipping a good amount. When asking for a to-go container, the person behind the counter was already in a sour mood. She unwillingly handed us one container. When we asked for a second, it came with an unpleasant attitude. I preferred if they had the to-go containers as self-serve to avoid the interaction. The salsa station offers jalapeños, red salsa, and pickled carrots. Love it. With that said, I question if any excess drippings fell back into the serving bowl from anyone's fingers because accidents happen when filling small plastic cups with large ladles. Is it still worth it? Worth it! Overall, I wouldn't choose this as my first choice of Tex-mex, especially because there are so many other options just miles down (Gringos, Lupe, El Tiempo [though expensive], and those smaller mom and pop shops). I truly wish I could love this place because it a local thing, but I'm not a fan of the service, atmosphere, or food. Maybe next visit would be better.

Fish tacos, cilantro lime rice, charro beans, a bunch of pickled carrots, and queso.

Never disappoints. The fish tacos are fresh, great slaw on top and lots of flavor. The carrots themselves I can eat as a meal. They're better than good. Fajitas are great, good quality meat. Love the back room, a little more private and secluded. Love getting my own condiments, no one bothers you. I love coming here.

This is my favorite restaurant in Sugar Land! It is the only Berryhill still in the Houston area! They have a large menu which makes it hard to choose and everything is delicious! The service is great, friendly staff and their daily specials are such a good deal! I think it's important to support local, family owned businesses especially with delicious and unique food!

Came here looking for a chill happy hour spot. I was happy to see that all the servers were wearing masks and they were enforcing social distancing. The capacity was restricted as well. I found out they don't have a happy hour, but the drinks are super affordable already. Margaritas were $6. Well drinks were $4. And they also have daily food specials. $2 tacos on Tuesdays and $2 enchiladas on Wednesdays. As you can imagine, I was pleasantly surprised by all of this! I had a margarita and a whisky cranberry double. Enchiladas were much better than I expected them to be for $2. The whiskey cranberry was good, but the margarita lacked the oomph I was looking for. Tasted great, just not strong enough. There was also an issue with my last order. I got some enchiladas to go, but they were never brought to my table. My prior order came very quickly. I had to speak to two different servers and the bartender before I was able to get my food. Didn't enjoy that, but with the prices and specials, I'm can see myself coming back again.

Had the pleasure of visiting Berryhill today. I will say the waiter is amazing and the tacos and margaritas where BOMB!! The atmosphere was cool and parking is free and easy. They receive 3 stars because I seen a roach crawling at the bar

#6 1 taco and 2 tamales. I LOVE their fish tacos!

My absolute favorite fish tacos from anywhere. These are the best! I make about a 40 minute drive just to go here for the tacos. If you sign up online, you can get a free queso. I usually get two original fish tacos with rice and refried beans. The cilantro line rice is so good. Try dipping a chip in the refried beans and top with jalapeños. Yum! OK, I'm hungry. I need more fish tacos.

Is there still smoking at the bar? The smell permeated the whole place the last time I went there, but it's been a couple years. Invited to an event there, but won't go if there's still smoking inside the building.

I believe smoking is outside on the patio area only. Then again I'm here early for lunch and no one is smoking inside.

I've lived in Houston 13 years and one thing for certain great pizza is hard to come by until now…read more I live in Fresno so when I found this pizza location on Apple Maps I was a little hesitant to drive 25 minutes to get a pizza. I took a chance. When I drove up to the parking area I was a little nervous due to that the restaurant was attached to a gas station. My wife looked at me and said, " Don't worry, some hole in the wall spots are really good". I selected a pepperoni pizza while my wife selected a Margherita pizza. I had preordered so when I got there the pizza was just warm. My fault not the restaurants. We opened our boxes and were really amazed. I mean it looked liked how a pizza should look if it was sent from the heavens above and made by the good Lord himself. Crust had a little char to it and the pizza itself smelled amazing. I picked up a slice and was amazed of the subtle crunch sound from separating the slice. I can smell the sauce as it got closer to my mouth ( NO DIDDY). First bite was mind blowing . I mean it was so good that I couldn't even talk anymore. It was at that instant that I gave my wife the look. She knows that look when I eat something so good that I want everyone to experience the same overwhelming feeling of joy Im having at that exact moment. The pizza was for pick up but the pizza was so good that we stayed parked and ate our pizza in the car. Definitely found my spot. 9 out of 10 from my taste buds. Crust- subtle crunch and super tasty Sauce- not overbearing just right Cheese- delicious Pepperoni- delicious Service- not sure. There was an older man that handed me my pizza and he was very nice.

Definitely longer than expected. But once the pizza came out, it was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. Because of that, we came back a second time to order takeout. This time we ordered the same pizza but in a large. Again, the wait was much longer than expected. We were quoted 45 minutes to an hour, but ended up waiting about an hour and 15 minutes. On top of that, they gave us the wrong style--we ordered the traditional hot honey pepperoni and received the white style instead. Unfortunately, by the time we got home, the pizza was also cold. I would definitely recommend dining in rather than takeout. The vibe inside is very family-friendly, and when the pizza is fresh out of the oven, it's fantastic.
