Glad there's a vegan spot in Oxnard!! This place is so cute. The owner, I forgot her name was sweet and helpful. The restaurant is named after a boat that had a shipwreck in the area. The Nard nachos were super tasty! they have great vegan sauces. The tempeh bacon in the shoreline burrito was yummy.

Nard Nachos were fresh & delicious!

Service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! The owner was very welcoming & has many tempting menu options to choose from. With her help describing everything in detail, I finally ordered the Nard Nachos and Shipreck smoothie! Both were so fresh and tasty! Definitely looking forward to trying theother menu items & I've already recommended this hidden gem to a few friends!

Awesome little vegan cafe! A lot of good choices and good outdoor seating. Quick service and good food!

Omg why haven't I heard about this cafe til today! I got the shoreline burrito, nachos, and the ship wreck smoothie! Let me say.. it was fireworks at first bite! The burrito had so much flavor, every bite I took I wanted more! Nachos were amazing with really good vegan cheese.. it wasn't powdery vegan cheese like other establishment. It had a nice chipotle smoky taste, with all the yummy toppings. The homemade guacamole pico was delicious it just made both of the dishes an even more explosion in your mouth. To cool off the spice, the smoothie is a must try! I'm so happy and excited to have a vegan place so close to home. I will definitely be back to try every single item on the menu. Keep up the good work and I can definitely feel and taste the love of vegan food in their cooking.

It's all vegan. Expensive items but very tasty. The man and the woman that were taking orders and making the food were very helpful and nice people. I got the anacapa salad, which was pretty good. I also ordered the El Capitan pulled potc(made with jackfruit) sandwich that was messy but very tasty. I got the berry bliss smoothie and a fiji water. All the food came quick and delivered to the table and was really tasty and made me feel good. Small spot but big flavor. Nice outdoor tables. I went with my mom and her little dog. Good vibes. I'm a fan. Delicious and healthy stuff. It's worth a try for sure.

I've…read morebeen to this plaza many times I've been to all the stores next to it and used to come here when it used to to be another business. To be totally honest, I was a little bit intimidated by how the process works. But I assume caught on that. It was almost like a chipotle kind of style place. I decided to go with a bowl. I was able to choose between three types of different bases, and I went with the basmati rice and the couscous was able to choose a couple of salad options as well. Luckily, we were able to mix and match since I can never make a decision on getting All three types of greens that they have. Then moved over to the hummus section and I was able to get the three most popular hummus flavors, which I actually don't remember what I got. I know one of them was an olive flavored one and another one was a little more spicy. Then over to the protein side of things, you can mix up to two different choices, and some of the other options there is an upgrade fee. Then removed over to the toppings and these are all unlimited and so I was able to get feta cheese, tomatoes, olives, purple cabbage, everything was so endless and amazing At the very end, you're able to choose two different kind of sauces and at the very end, my bowl was actually pretty heavy in weight but most importantly it was very delicious Thank you to the team member here that was very helpful and walked me through the process. I think I might've been too overwhelmed. Otherwise I might've just opted for the burger which I may still have to try next time. The sweet potato fries also look very good and I will have to try those next time for sure. There's a ton of parking spots right outside. I can't get a little bit busy here so she'll be so many different food options but generally, I haven't really had an issue with finding a spot.

Last December, a friend came across The Cave while looking for a place to have lunch in Ventura and…read moresuggested we give it a try. I'm really glad he did because it's the kind of place I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The first thing that caught our attention was the self-serve wine dispensers lined with bottles ready to sample. We had a lot of fun walking back and forth, looking over the different selections, and deciding what to taste next. Being able to sample wines by the ounce before committing to a full glass made the whole experience feel interactive. I especially liked that I could compare different Cabernet Sauvignons side by side, which isn't something you get to do very often. After trying a few different Cabernets, Chimney Rock ended up being my favorite. The dining room added to the experience. The cave-like ceilings, warm lighting, and comfortably spaced tables made it easy to settle in, enjoy our lunch, and catch up without feeling cramped or rushed. If you enjoy trying different wines, it's easy to lose track of time here. We started with a cheese plate, which turned out to be much more generous than I expected. It came with a nice assortment of cheeses, crisp apple slices, grapes, candied walnuts, crostini, and a savory relish on the side. It was a great dish to share with our wine. My friend ordered the tuna poke tower, and we shared the cheese flatbread and sweet potato fries. I went with the Original Cave Salad with salmon, which came with a generous piece of perfectly cooked salmon over fresh greens, apples, grapes, walnuts, and blue cheese. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. One thing I appreciated was that we never felt rushed. Lunch naturally turned into an afternoon of catching up, comparing notes on the different wines, and deciding which pours we wanted to try next. Before we left, we wandered through the wine shop one more time. If you discover a favorite during lunch, you can pick up a bottle before heading home, which is a nice touch. I'm really glad my friend found this place. The next time I'm in Ventura, it'll definitely be on my list again.

Had a baby shower scheduled on a Saturday and left completely disappointed. Firstly, we scheduled…read morethis event and paid a deposit well over 6 weeks ago. The day before, the owner Michele couldn't seem to find the paperwork where we discussed menu, family style, decor, budget etc. Thankfully, we went in the day before to double check everything. Not only were we met with a misogynistic retort to everything we talked about but he did not clarify any details that we later found out would be important. The day of the event, we accidentally hit a bottle of wine bringing in the decorations. Total accident! During the party, we had to constantly find our server (super nice guy but terrible service) to take drink orders, to take food orders, and to clear the table and bring to go boxes. Drinks weren't refilled. We cut and served the cake we brought. Then our bill comes and surprising to us, we were charged a room fee (which I confirmed they DID NOT have prior to booking), charged a cake fee (just for them to store it in their fridge and NEVER told there would be a fee for bringing a dessert, despite Michele asking the day before if we were bringing our own or using them for dessert), and he charged us $50 for the bottle we accidentally broke. With all these extra charges, in addition to already paying a deposit, we were way over the previously discussed budget. I never would have agreed to his idea of everyone ordering individual dishes instead of family style plus his outrageous extra fees had I know it was going to blow the budget. He had every opportunity to tell us there is a cake fee (never have I EVER had to pay a fee to bring a cake- even our server said he felt it was in poor taste to charge us for that). We refused to pay the room fee because we already put down a deposit and were never told there would be these extraneous charges! The terrible ending happened when I slipped and fell (8 months pregnant) in the front of the restaurant RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OWNER, who stood over me as I was on the ground, and said "you must have slipped on the wine you spilled." Never offered concern, never offered to help me and never apologized. A staff member from the kitchen ran out to help me despite Michel being an arms length from me, looking down on me. Such a disgrace. My dress was dirtied from their floor and I was left with bruises on my knees the next day. No wet floor sign, clearly the floor wasn't cleaned up properly or dried. We will never patronize this restaurant again. What was meant to be a beautiful event turned into a calamity met with a chauvinist owner who lacks customer service and compassion.

The happy hour deals are great. The food is good, and the sizes of the dishes are still full sized, not slightly smaller to fulfill happy hour pricing. We ordered a lot of stuff, thinking we were hungry and that the portions were going to be reduced. Definitely makes me ok to come back, and most likely will, as the deals are good when it's happy hours. The inside is clean and spacious, will seating and tables decently placed and spaced from each other. Come try it, especially during happy hours! We ordered the seared tuna, it was delicious. Comes with 6 slices. We also ordered a seared tuna salad, and that tuna had a different flavor, slightly more spicier, but good too. The calamari is still good, but not as I had memorized from past visits, but still pretty good. The cheese curds are pretty awesome if you like cheese curds. Would definitely get it again. The Brussels, ask for the sauce on the side so you can dip as much as you want instead of having it drenched in the sauce. The pizzas are worth it, order one, or two. We got a pepperoni with no cheese for our intolerant peoples, and then got a regular mushroom truffle, both very delicious. The crust is soft, thin, and fluffy. The sauce is good, and the ingredients are all great together. Sliders, get them. Truffle fries, if you like truffle flavor, get it. Chicken wraps are great too, especially if you are doing low carbs.
