Cute little breakfast gem! -Stumbled upon Kiki's Kitchen since was in the area for my parents appointments this morning. Wow, it's a cute little cozy breakfast gem! I absolutely loved my hazelnut latte! 10/10 stars - definitely recommend to my coffee lovers! My mom had the chilaquiles & I had the huevos rancheros. Both were delish. Mexican approved! Service was quick. Perfect breakfast or brunch spot if you're in the area or want something hidden. Love the ambiance too, great music playing!

What a great little cafe to grab breakfast or lunch at! Perfect location if you're working in one of the many offices nearby. Simple menu, but we haven't found a single dish we don't like. Particularly enjoy their Loco Moco and Quick Fix. We've never had difficulty getting a table when we show up. Service is quick and kind. We've seen many people placing orders to-go as well. Reasonably priced. Easy parking. Great choice for breakfast or lunch.

Sometimes I have Breakfast with my son here. We would have omelettes or breakfast burritos or Sandwiches. Everything tastes really good. Customer service is always good. Plenty of tables and plenty of parking even during busy hours.

Everything was outstanding. I had the power jack sandwich with hash browns and the name was no joke. It was very filling and tasty. The hash was cooked nicely. I also tried the huevos rancheros and they were tasty. I had an iced latte and it was too sweet for my taste so we asked for some extra ice or milk and they very kindly did so. Prices were affordable! We also had exceptional customer service

This was quite a lucky find next to the blood draw place where i had to go fasting. i got the breakfast burrito with bacon to go. The burrito was large and filling. the gave me green salsa and ketchup. Ketchup ??? The service was great, and a cute place to eat. it wasn't busy at 9 am

Chilaquiles Burrito! Easily one of the best burritos I've ever had. 10/10

Just had the Chilaquiles Burrito from Kiki's Kitchen and WOW--absolute flavor bomb! Perfectly crispy chips, rich salsa, creamy eggs, and just the right kick of spice all wrapped in a warm tortilla. Every bite was heavenly. Easily one of the best burritos I've ever had. 10/10

GETTING HERE: Restaurant is located on Lombard off Gonzales Road in Oxnard between Rice and Rose Avenues. It's across the street from the Kaiser Pharmacy. Visit their website here: https://kikiskitchen-oxnard.com/home REVIEW: Yelp continues to come in clutch for me. Thank you for Yelp and thank you for all the Yelp things! I was in the neighborhood taking care of some medical things and my Mom says, "Let's go eat!" - I do what the Yelpers do, and checked to see what was close by. I've had Kiki's bookmarked for much too long, and in retrospect I was last here circa 2018. What the heck? Place was relatively full this morning. There were only 2 people running the floor and they were hopping. Friendly. Welcoming. But so busy. We were able to be seated quickly and thankfully my guest and I knew what we wanted to order so we got our order in quick like. :) Chilaquiles were outstanding. Asked for over-medium eggs and they were perfection. My guest ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. It was good; but a good amount of gristle, sadly. Yes. I recommend and hope you'll support this local biz. And, try their Chilaquiles! If you know me, you know I'm a fan. :) Thanks!

My avocado toast was okay but I was a bit disappointed however the fruit was very yummy and fresh

The atmosphere was great and so was the service however I was very let down by the food. I had the avocado toast which was good but nothing special and ordered a few other things for my children. My daughter has gotten the chicken tenders which looked like fish sticks and they were very scrawny and small. She didn't really like them but she still ate them. "Definitely not the best I've ever had" she said. However I don't think I will be coming back. Great service though. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

We ordered 3 items and they were all amazing. The best fried sweet potatoes we've ever had. Very crispy. I enjoyed the chilaquiles I ordered as well.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We each ordered a cocktail. She got a blueberry margarita and I got a cucumber gin mixed drink. Both were refreshing and delicious. We ended up ordering another round. For appetizers we ordered the crispy maple Brussels and tuna & salmon tartare. The Brussels were fried to perfection and glazed a sweet maple syrup. It also came with thick cuts of bacon. Definitely recommend this. For the tartare, it was also delicious and fresh. It was mixed with avocado and turnip. We thought the turnip would be off putting but it actually meshed well with the flavors. Came with fried wonton chips. For the main course we shared the NY strip and Lobster Malfaldine. The steak was cooked to perfection with a very nice sear and flavored well. Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Definitely beats out any steakhouse steak. The Lobster Malfaldine was also absolutely delicious. Most of the time, lobster pasta is usually a bit bland and lacking in lobster. NOT HERE. They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, they comped our dessert. Super nice staff!

I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, but we always love to sit outside so that we have a really good view of the aircraft coming and going. I tried the BLT and, oh my!!! One of the best I've had, with lots of thick cut bacon, very crisp, lots of lettuce, tomato and mayo (I ordered it as-is). Half was the size of a regular sandwich so the other half went home with me! RRR ordered the triple decker club on sourdough and loved his as well. Half of his went home also. We both got the cole slaw as our side which has a little pineapple in it. I found it ok, RRR really liked it. We shared a special milkshake, pistachio, and it was heavenly, highly recommended. Service was perfect, there when needed but not overbearing. We so appreciate well-trained staff! Highly recommended.

Dear Hubby and I have been to Waypoint Cafe a few times over the years. Because of how popular…read morethey are, it's not somewhere we try to go to on a weekend. Today we had to be out of the house due to Edison maintenance in your neighborhood. We were originally headed for Ojai, but we were hungry and didn't want to wait that long to get food. I suggested Waypoint since it was a weekday and hopefully wouldn't be that crowded. We hit them just before a lunch rush came along about 30 minutes later. it's probably been a while, but their ordering procedure has changed since the last time we were there. Now you enter, go to the host stand, and order and pay there. Then they give you a number for your order and a host takes you out to a table. It's a variation on fast casual. The idea is that they will start cooking your food as soon as you pay, and the process will flow smoothly from there. They have a lot of runners bringing out the food, and offering additional condiments or other things you might need, like more water or napkins. There are several reasons that I'm downgrading the rating from a previous visit. $18 for a plain Belgian waffle? No fruit, garnish, whipped cream, just melted butter and a very small amount of syrup. It looked more substantial because we added eggs and bacon for $3 more. The latter seems like a good deal, because the eggs were well prepared. Only two slices of bacon, though. DH and I split the plate. $21 for a plain waffle, scrambled eggs, and two pieces of bacon does seem excessive. We added a side of hash browns, which were plentiful, but were also oily. I don't remember having hash browns in another restaurant which were that greasy, so that was a fail. $9 for two cups of decaf coffee? That also seemed on the high side, especially when a tiny (and I do mean tiny!) addition of oat milk for creamer was $1.50. Really? And yet, they offered mini portions of hazelnut or French vanilla creamer for free. But we didn't know that ahead of time. A large glass of lukewarm pineapple juice was $6. I had to ask for a glass of ice cubes to be able to chill the juice down to where it tasted good. By the way, the waffle was slightly overcooked for my preference, making it more crunchy than I enjoy. Overall, it was $50 for a breakfast that DH and I split, just adding the hash browns and juice to stretch the meal. Service was good. It was the kitchen that let down the team. Also, ambiance-wise, the airport has added a large row of hangars to the northwest of the restaurant, which dramatically cuts down the view of the planes taking off and landing. That's actually another fail for the appeal of dining here. It's likely going to be a while before we return. Sad to report today's experience, but that's what it turned out to be - not the lovely little secret getaway of the past.

As a vegan, I was prepared to accept my usual limited selection at a real Mexican restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a few unique options other than fruit & potatoes. Waitresses try their best but seem stretched too thin to be very attentive. You are made to use Cakes online ordering and wait list program which is less than ideal because of their slow WiFi. While waiting for a table you are updated on your place in line. On our last visit we waited as next to be seated for 20 minutes as multiple large parties showed up late and were seated immediately. We were told they were friends of the owner and there's nothing they could do but the staff hates it- for what that's worth. Today my Avocado toast left much to be desired. Sourdough tastes like dry thin sliced white bread. Small amount of smashed Avocado; not enough to cover the bread topped with less than fresh pico da gallo, arugula a balsamic drizzle and 3 slices of tomato that were marinated in Italian dressing. All things I like but the combination was not good. BLTA used the same disappointing bread, flaccid under cooked bacon a tiny amount of pesto aioli and more avocado then there was on the avocado toast. Kids mini pancakes were good but chocolate chips are $1 up charge. I will say yesterday's eggs Benedict was good- hollandaise is excellent. Breakfast potatoes were a bit undercooked. Bloody Mary was a bit weak in my opinion. After all of that- I got a look at the receipt and there is a 2% BOH RevShare added to the bill. My best guess is this is fee to help pay the kitchen- To be honest we went here because it was a short walk from the Hilton. After the poor service, bad quality and hidden fees- we would be better off eating on the resort.
