Premium price for subpar food. Ham for the sandwiches use the square block processed ham meat you get from a school cafeteria. The cheeseburger soup was pretty good. Tables and chairs are clean. The employee was nice. Have to ask for extra napkins since they don't have a dispenser on the counter. It's really hard to recommend this establishment when Ralph's is a few feet away and you could just make your own sandwich with the price you paid at PB&J. Very firm 3 stars. First time but not the last time! I ordered the "Try 2" combo and got the Maple loves Spinach Salad and the Turtle sandwich and I INHALED that salad. The place reminds me of another local sandwich / salad spot out here but the diversity of combos (sandwiches) are really creative. The cashier Jazmine was really nice and patient and offered good suggestions when I told her that it was my first time. The establishment was also very clean - seems like a popular place as well. I won't be coming back to this establishment. I really do love the sandwiches and salads but I just can't do the customer service there. One girl in particular. I ordered the turtle as I normally do. The 1+1+1 combo. When I received it I asked for extra garlic mayo on the side and she told me it already comes with a lot on there. In my head I'm like excuse me how does she know what is enough for me, I wanted extra. So I said I'd still like some on the side. With an attitude she was like that's gonna cost you. Okay now I didn't even ask about a cost I just asked for extra on the side. Again I say okay and she charges me for it. Think she made a price up on her head. She doesn't even put in my hand the lil cup she set it on the counter and scooted it to me. Professionalism goes along way with me. Just because you think your food is good doesn't mean your customer service skills should be subpar. I've stopped going to many of restaurants that I loved because the service sucked. Best Grilled Cheese And Tomato bisque Soup ever!!! Seriously this is the best grilled cheese/tomato bisque soup. The grilled cheese is perfect with perfect amount of cheddar cheese and the perfect choice of sourdough bread. As for the tomato bisque soup, that thing is heaven. If I had a lifetime supply of this I would be set for life. Together the soup and sandwich is bliss...just perfect bliss. So if you love tomato bisque soup and grilled cheese, you gotta check this place out. Also gotta give praise to the friendly and awesome staff, as well as the excellent value for the food. My partner and I came here for lunch and wanted to try the lunch combos. A combo is $14.50 for half sandwich/ half soup or half sandwich/half salad. We both got the So This Bacon Went on a Date, my partner added chicken for $4 more and got the veggie soup. I got the chicken salad salad. Overall the food was okay. Although the ingredients tasted fresh, there wasn't really a wow factor to the food and the price doesn't really match the portion. After spending $30+ , we are left feeling a bit hungry still. Also my partner had asked for hot sauce in which the girl at the counter said she can give her some. When my partner went inside to grab some of the hot sauce, the guy asked the girl if she charged us ? So apparently even after spending more than $30, you're expected to be charged for a tiny sauce cup of Louisiana hot sauce. Hearing that turned me off from wanting to come back to try the s'mores sandwich sadly. read more

I was looking for a great lunch place to eat at and I found that Peebee & Jay's is the place to go. I had a bookmarked and it just happened to be in this shopping center and so I had to try it out. They have a good variety of healthy sandwiches and salads. I couldn't really decide on what to get because there's so many good options and I decided on the half sandwich and a half salad combo which worked out so I could get a lot of variety and knock out 2 birds with one stone. The Cobby Cobb Cobb salad was fantastic and had lots of different components to it. It was a good portion too. For my sandwich I ended up getting the Italian sandwich and it was decent. I believe that most their sandwiches come with a healthy swab of mayo and I am not the biggest fan of mayo so next time I know to let them know to not have any. Since my sandwich was a warm sandwich, it did take a while to be prepared. The restaurant also has one of those freestyle Coca-Cola fountain machines. But I decide to go with iced tea that they had right next to it. Overall, the food was pretty good and I can't wait to try some of the other items that they have. Great place if you're looking for a simple or out of the box sandwich. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from: cold or hot. You can also build your own sandwich as well if you're not interested in their preselected options. If you're not interested in sandwiches they also offer salads and I believe soup. I've gone here a couple times and I get the same thing every time, so I can't say much about all the sandwiches. I get the Turkey On The Range. They are also very willing to let you replace or add to your sandwich order. I typically change my lettuce for arugula and my cheese option. I will say around lunch time it gets pretty busy, whether you order online, call, or order there as it is near the Navy base and a lot of service members go here for lunch (me included). But overall your sandwich comes out freshly made and delicious but don't compare it to a subway where they make it in front of you in a process line. I saw this place and thought it was for children since it sounds like they sell peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. But they offer so much more than that. It's easy to find with tons of parking. They carry soups, salads, and sandwiches. They provide a variety of bread for your sandwiches - including cauliflower bread! I liked the ability to create a custom meal. I ordered a combo Turkey sandwich on cauliflower bread with chicken salad. My husband ordered a Turkey sandwich and a tiny tomato soup cup for $5 extra. The not-so-good news part: the upgrades are expensive for what you get! A tiny sliver of avocado costs $3.00 extra. My husband only found a small avocado slice on his sandwich. The sweet sauces on the Turkey and cranberry sandwich were so overwhelming it tasted like someone poured concentrated Kool-Aid powder all over the sandwich. Overall, we felt we paid too much for this meal. Our total was around $45 for carryout, and the portions were relatively small. I know times are tough for businesses, but I'd instead have spent $45 to have felt full afterward. So what should you expect? You are paying for variety and relatively fresh ingredients. This is a step up from having to eat fried and processed foods from a fast food place. But don't expect generous portions, and think carefully about upgrading or adding on ingredients because you may not find the cost worth it. read more
