The happy hour deals are great. The food is good, and the sizes of the dishes are still full sized, not slightly smaller to fulfill happy hour pricing. We ordered a lot of stuff, thinking we were hungry and that the portions were going to be reduced. Definitely makes me ok to come back, and most likely will, as the deals are good when it's happy hours. The inside is clean and spacious, will seating and tables decently placed and spaced from each other. Come try it, especially during happy hours! We ordered the seared tuna, it was delicious. Comes with 6 slices. We also ordered a seared tuna salad, and that tuna had a different flavor, slightly more spicier, but good too. The calamari is still good, but not as I had memorized from past visits, but still pretty good. The cheese curds are pretty awesome if you like cheese curds. Would definitely get it again. The Brussels, ask for the sauce on the side so you can dip as much as you want instead of having it drenched in the sauce. The pizzas are worth it, order one, or two. We got a pepperoni with no cheese for our intolerant peoples, and then got a regular mushroom truffle, both very delicious. The crust is soft, thin, and fluffy. The sauce is good, and the ingredients are all great together. Sliders, get them. Truffle fries, if you like truffle flavor, get it. Arrived around 7pm on a Sunday evening and the place was happenin' with tons of people hanging out in the restaurant and sitting in the bar area as well. Natalie was an absolute rockstar! We came in for happy hour on a major game day and waited about 30 minutes to be seated which was not bad. Ambiance was very lively and loud. She was so friendly and personable. We ordered quite a bit to share and the top items were the sliders (both with cheese and no cheese) the pizza, the chicken wraps, and the tuna. I did not enjoy the Brussels (they were overly sauced and overcooked) nor the noodles because they were oddly sweet. I was told that the cheese curds were also not worth ordering. Our wait time for a booth was 25 minutes but we were seated by 15. The waitress made her rounds pretty regularly so we were able to ask for hot sauce and salt when we wanted. Super busy and packed on a Saturday night. I like the device on every table that showed pictures of the food on the menu. I really like the taco flight. I got the Korean fried chicken, beer battered cod, and the birria. Very exciting flavors. I thought the chicken needed more sauce. It should be dripping with garlickiness. So this review is a little premature, as we haven't gotten a table to sit down and eat yet, but nevertheless, I am compelled to write something in hopes that someone within the Darden company reads this. I can in and asked for a table for 3, and was immediately informed it was a 30 minute wait. As I went to use the restroom, I took my time and counted the number of tables that would have accommodated our party, and there were 18 empty tables at 7:15pm on a Tuesday night. If I were a shareholder, I would be extremely concerned that the management is not maximizing shareholder value by providing timely service to seat their guests when there are obviously more than enough tables to do so. By the way, I also counted and addition 8 tables outside with heaters that would have also sufficed. read more

We went to the bar ordered a cocktail and 10 minutes later the bartender invited us to sit at the bar as two seats opened up. My family enjoyed the experience, I tried the hot Nashville turkey and it was almost too spicy for me but I liked it anyway. This is my first time to the Oxnard Yard House. We came at 6pm and had to wait only about 10 minutes. Food and drinks never disappoint. They are always busy and normally you have to wait for the table about 20 minutes but if you would like to sit at the bar, you don't have to wait. The service is always good. Came to this location to celebrate my dad and I's birthday. It was pretty busy but we were sat in adequate time. The appetizers and entrees were delicious! My sister and I shared the Korean Ribeye and Shrimp plate and it was enough for us 2 girls! For the table, my family ordered truffle fries and calamari - which both came out rather quickly. Even though it was busy, our server was helpful and stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. The restaurant itself is big with lots of tables for both smaller or bigger parties, plus a good amount of bar seating. Bathrooms were clean. HORRIBLE Sunday night experience. My father & i walk into the restaurant and the girl at the front (Lorelei) stood there staring at us without saying anything, no greeting, no questions, just a blank stare. (we were the only ones standing there) for at least 2 minutes we stood there awkwardly until i had to say "can we get a table for 2 please" she then looked to her friend, rolled her eyes, grabbed 2 menus, and started walking away without a word. the other girl had to tell us "go ahead and follow her" by that point we were chasing her to try to catch up because she left so fast. she threw our menus on the table (table 10) and walked away. she then continued to peek around the corner at us, walk by our table and stare us down each time giving dirty looks, and watched us eat our dinner for the full hour and a half we were there. It's was incredibly invasive and kinda creepy. would not recommend eating there if she is working :(. HOWEVER our server was the complete opposite. she was very attentive. very kind. and very quick. she made the experience much better making jokes and making sure we had everything we needed. read more

Now this is probably my 10th time visiting Yard House at the collection, but today's experience was a new level of rockin food, drinks, and service. Came in around 10pm with some family on this summer Sunday night. Despite coming in less than an hour before closing, our server Edgar greeted us with a warm smile and great energy. Our initial plan was to only have drinks and dessert, but we had to indulge on a few appetizers as well. Edgar recommended the calamari, extra crispy, which was phenomenal. He even brought out a side of Malt Aioli Vinegar and extra lemons for us, which were perfect compliments to the calamari. We also ordered the cheese curds, and onion rings, both of which were nice and crispy. Drinks were good as usual, today we enjoyed the Grand Patron Margarita, and not 1 not 2 but 3 glasses of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. To end the quick night we tried their new Chocolate Lava Cake, which Edgar recommended A La Mode. Yard house, if you're listening, that lava cake is something special! The rich chocolate fudge center with a hint of powdered sugar on top is an absolute delight to the taste buds. Yard House, we will be back soon, and next time we're asking for Edgar. read more
