If I could give Richie and Driss more than five stars I really would. I know I've read reviews like this before and sometimes have a hard time believing them. But, they are that good. We use their service regularly for trips from La Jolla to the airport as well as downtown. It's really nice being able to contact them via text message, especially if you're in a busy spot downtown and it's hard to be on the phone. They go out of their way to fit us into their schedule, even during peak periods and hours, and they are always punctual. On top of that, they are both really nice, interesting, end educated people. Getting a ride from them is more like being picked up by an old friend than a car service. Also, it's really comforting knowing who is picking you up, rather than being picked up by a different driver each time. First off all I would like to recommend this company to anyone who needs transportation service. The driver was nice, friendly, prompt, professional, and most of all efficient. I would rate him A+++!!!  Usually, you expect the minimum since, it's their job and they probably don't want to be @ work anyways....HOWEVER, the person I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful, patient, friendly, and exceeded my expectations for customer service.  The chauffeur, Richie who picked me and my friend up from La Jolla cove to the airport was 20 minutes early and called us to let us know that he was waiting outside. He greeted us professionally and had a cheery mood that made the experience more enjoyable. Out of all the limo services I have used for business/out things, I would like to say La Jolla Express Ride has had the best service, hands down. I will not be going to any other limo company. I used La Jolla Express Ride (Richie) last week twice. I scheduled an airport transport (from Mission Valley) the day before and Richie was on time and texted me a few hours before to verify he was on his way. Richie picked me up from the airport a few days later @ 12:45 AM (after my flight had been delayed for a few hours). Richie is very nice and his car is very clean & comfortable. La Jolla Express Ride's fees are excellent and way better & safer than taking a dirty old taxi! They do an excellent job with communications and you are not left wondering if your ride will show up on time. I can honestly say that using La Jolla Express Ride was the BEST cab experience I've ever had. It's really hard to find a taxi driver who drives safely, is comfortable to be around, and is genuinely interesting to talk to. Richie is an extremely inspiring, funny and intelligent person who really takes pride in his business. I was in a car accident a few weeks ago and am still a bit jumpy, but felt perfectly at ease riding with him. It was refreshing. Last week I scheduled a pick up in University City for my elderly Mother-in-law, to go to Mission Valley for 3 hours and to be picked up and returned. Being out of town I needed to make sure everything went right! Richie texted me when he picked her up and when he dropped her off. Then he texted me again when he picked he up for her ride home and when she was home in the house. Did it all by text, easy and simple. This service is hands down the most dependable and punctual out of every other taxi/ limo service in San Diego. The owner, Rachid is very professional, courteous, and friendly. My boyfriend and I call upon Rachid for all our date nights and trips to the airport as we both travel frequently. We are always picked up on time if not 5 minutes early. I couldn't ask for a better car service. I have used them 4-5 times for transportation to and from the airport and they have been wonderful. Great communication from reservation to pick up. On time every time. A nice clean Lincoln as well as a friendly driver and dispatcher. All this and it is no more expensive then a cab. So much better! read more
