This was the only cab I could find to give her a ride to the airport at 5 AM in the morning in La Jolla. As of today, that very same girl is now my wife, and I make sure she takes a cab from Richie (the owner) wherever she needs to go. Richie is the main driver, he is a gentleman first and then an excellent driver. He always shows up ten minutes before I ask him to do so. And if he cannot show up, he makes sure one of his other drivers is there ready to go. The service is unprecedented in my area. The best part is that his prices are not expensive compared to other drivers.

We had no idea we'd be in a dead zone so my Uber/Lyft apps weren't cooperating. This cab company was the closest, so we had no choice. After calling the cab company dispatcher, the cab driver called me, said 10 minutes ETA, then arrived almost 20 minutes later, then drove right past us, drove us home recklessly, took off fast from stops causing almost-whiplash, came to stops abruptly and, worst of all, the cost was double that of an Uber. I asked him twice, but when he became agitated, I dropped it. This guy must've gotten his license out of a Cracker Jack box. I couldn't wait to get out of the cab! I think they just don't care. The second time I made this trip, I made sure I had a pre-arranged ride from a friend. Please phone a friend ahead of time if you know you're going to be in a dead zone.
