Also a very pleasant surprise is they give complimentary chips and salsa, which given economy/inflation is becoming more rare in Mexican restaurants. Both salsas were excellent the red is a spicy smoky flavor. The salsa verde is tangy and mild. I also was very disappointed with the al pastor taco because there was no pineapple flavor and certainly no pieces of pineapple. It tasted like salt with a few other spices, and I would not order it again. The asada taco was fantastic, cooked perfectly, and would also be a great choice for a burrito. My husband said his shredded chicken enchiladas were ok, but nothing special. We both think the beans and rice at El Castillo is wonderful. The same server/cashier is always working and is super friendly. They have dine in as well as carry out. If you want to eat there, you can sit anywhere you'd like in the large dining room, but know that it's not fancy (which doesn't matter to us) and is always cold (which is a bummer in winter).
