We got a hot mocha, a caramel macchiato, and a chicken sandwich. Drinks and sandwich were amazing, service was so sweet and patient, and the atmosphere was charming :)) overall such a sweet place. I definitely recommend

    - Service: Sunday morning, the passionate coffee place owner was here with his team making coffee and sharing his thoughts on the place, an 80s style coffee place. Very warm and welcoming team here, and a 2% discount if ur a health care worker. Theres another discount option for locals. - Food: Cafe mocha was nice.

We were escorted to our table by our lovely host, and when we arrived at our table in the back of the restaurant, there was a cute "happy birthday" table card waiting for us. This was incredibly thoughtful and a nice touch for our celebration dinner. Also, I love how this restaurant is decorated - the art work, the furniture, and plants - all come together to create a welcoming, cozy, warm atmosphere for any dining experience. I also love how the menu continuously rotates and highlights fresh produce from local suppliers. We both ordered a different dish and shared, plus we had some leftovers, so the portions are very generous. We also tried some of the oysters with vinaigrette they were fresh and delicious. To conclude our dinner, we were gifted with a DELIGHTFUL banana pudding with a scoop of ice cream and a candle to make a wish (though our wish for a wonderful meal and dining experience was throughly satisfied already ) Thanks again for a great time bellflower!

The salad was fresh and well dressed - simple but good. The second starter was sardine tin. Very very good. Not overly fishy and the garnishes served with it were perfect. For mains which are enough to share, one was the trout! Absolutely well seasoned and crispy. It is served whole and butterflied. We changed the side to the house vegetable. OMG these sautéed garden veggies were the best! The other main was a Japanese curry dish. Here is why the five starting dropped to a four. It was just ok. We would not order again. For dessert we had the bread pudding- another star for the night! To the owner, terrific staff. Everyone we engaged in, were positive and knowledgeable. They are a great team! Looking forward to a second visit!

So while it was chaotic and overwhelming, the workers would hand you a menu, explain the purchasing process and even give you requested samples! Due to trying a sample of their pretzel, I ended buying a bag. An $8 bag!!! It was perfectly crunchy and buttery and very good! I don't even like pretzels and these impressed me. Also got a $9 bag of only 5 palmier cookies. They were good but definitely a splurge. BF bought a small bottle of balsamic vinegar for $23, like wut?! I eyed a jar of salsa for $28 and jam for $16 but damn, everything was way above even farmer's market prices. The sandwiches start at $18 for a small and go to $24 for a large. BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.

The only difference between now and then, as the cheese steaks were much bigger but I'm not complaining. You have to always have a fork because the meat falls out there's so much of it. I always get a cheese steak with extra cheese and pepper's on the side and a small root beer. The service is fast as long as you get there before the lunch rush. But I don't mind standing in line. This time, I'm going to take home a lunch meat sub for later tonight. I don't think I've ever had one. My father was friends with the original owner. My dad worked at the Ford Rawsonville plant. He would take orders from the people on the line and go to Gabriels and pickup sometimes 20 hoagies or more. He told my dad for every ten that he ordered, he would give him a free one. My brother and I like to stop by there at least once a month. Do yourself a favor please go check this place out. You can thank me later.

The steak and cheese hoagie was seasoned well and hot so I can't say much about that other than it's good. The bread was interesting, it reminded me of the soft buns they used for sloppy joes in the best way. It was soft and almost instantly melted/broke down with the meat and cheese so that you get everything melding together. The only reason why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that fast food places have conditioned me to expect some side like fries for $13-14. My order came out to be around $14 with the hoagie and a medium drink but no sides so that's why it's a 4 for me. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could.

Food took about about 20 minutes which wasnt too bad. She ordered a bacon cheeseburger and some backyard fries. I got a Mac 'n' jack burger with some southside fries. She said her burger needed some seasoning on it, as it was pretty bland. Had hoped for some real bacon pieces, but it was chopped or bits. Her fries were pretty good. My burger, i ordered with an egg and some grilled onions. I am pretty certain after tearing apart the burger, they forgot the onions. But its all good. The mac and cheese balls, were alright at best. The sauce was the best part of the burger. It wasnt anything special. My south side fries were also the better part of my meal. Would probably go back to try something outside of a burger, but would definitely need fries, as they were a highlight. Wouldve been 2 stars if not for the fries.

This is a super cute spot that specializes in smoked meat and sausages... yes please. We ordered at the counter and the employees were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions. I got the Michigan asparagus, onion, and cheddar brat, and Nate got the currywurst. We also got a cup of chili to share. We got a buzzer for our order and then sat down in the heated outdoor space. They have a lot of outdoor seating and some firepits, so I really want to come back in the fall or summer. Our food was done quickly and we had fun picking stuff from the toppings bar. They had chopped onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, sauerkraut etc. and lots of sauces. I LOVED the brat. It was easy to bite and not super snappy which I didn't mind. The bun was perfectly toasted and the flavor combination was delicious. Kind of like a broccoli cheddar vibe. I had some of the currywurst which was also delicious! The chili was packed with brisket and pulled pork, and was really tasty. There is a bar so you can enjoy a beer with your sausage, but we just grabbed some cold drinks from the cooler. They even have ice cream and floats!! There are lots of great items for sale as well, including lots of pickled things, frozen pierogi, meat sticks and jerky, and they even have Trenary Toast (#iykyk). I am already planning my next visit to try more brats and the brisket sandwich. This is such a great concept and I really wish we had a place like this in Grand Rapids.

The bowl was quite sad looking, lacked green onions, cilantro, meats, and no kidding on the noodles. The broth was clean but lacked that beefy richness. The herbs were fresh and they offered jalapeno slices and a line wedge unlike the place I went to on Sunday. But for the price, I could not expect more.

We get it almost once a week and it never disappoints. I'm obsessed with the mixed shawarma sandwich and the tabbouli salad. The flavor combinations in the shawarma are so delicious and more flavorful than shawarmas I've had in the past. Another thing I appreciate about the shawarma sandwich is that the pita bread does not get soggy. I hate when I order a shawarma sandwich for takeout and it's drenched in grease and sauce by the time I get home. The shawarmas from Shawarma Plus don't suffer from this problem. The pita bread stays dry, fresh, and soft despite being stuffed with chicken, steak, veggies, garlic sauce, and tahini.
