Great location right in the heart of Glendale at The Americana. The coffee is really good, the service is great, and they have outdoor seating, which is super convenient. I recommend the classic Americano Cloud Atmosphere great Pro tip: order online while you're looking for parking, and your coffee will be ready when you get there
Today, I went to the Lalaland coffee shop at the Glendale Americana. I actually visited the one at The Grove with my friends when it first opened a few years ago, and today I stopped by this location while shopping with my mom. My mom had a Hot Americano, and I had an Iced Vanilla Latte. I ordered mine decaf, with non-fat milk and very light ice, and I was so happy because they made it perfectly just the way I asked. The Vanilla Latte I ordered was incredibly delicious (it wasn't too sweet, just really good), and my mom also loved her Americano and said it tasted great. I think this place is always crowded because all their coffee is delicious and the staff is so friendly. Also, I really like that the cups they serve the coffee in are so pretty! One thing, though: the female cashier who took my coffee order didn't catch my name even when I told her it was Diane. She said a different name, so I clearly spelled it out for her, and then did she say, "Oh, Diane?" and corrected it. I've never had anyone anywhere fail to understand my name when I say it, so that bothered me a little bit today. It's not a huge deal, but in that moment, I just felt a little uncomfortable.
Really tasty, delicious coffees and drinks. I haven't tried their pastries but their drinks usually satisfy my cravings. I'm on a restricted diet so I really like being able to truly customize my coffee that's acceptable and pleasing to this diet while satisfyingly good. As usual, this location can be very busy and packed during peak times which can vary lol meaning lines can be longs and waits will be had. But the staff is always welcoming and helpful. Today, they opened their windows so there was a wonderful breeze while sitting inside having our drinks. The only caviat is that the tables and floors don't get cleaned up promptly but it would be a bit difficult since customers are just coming and going. Seating is a hit and miss. Other than that, worth a visit, or two or three!
Got here on a weekday afternoon and the line is relatively short - took about 10 mins! Got the einspanner latte (matcha) and it's underwhelming...first of all the cup is soooo small for a $7 drink and second of all the matcha tastes a bit off (a bit grainy I guess) and not the strong matcha flavor I was hoping for. I do like it's not super sweet though so perfect on a hot day! There are really cute tables outside that you can relax and take pictures! Probably not worth the crazy line since there are way better matcha out there.
This La La Land location always has long lines no matter what time you go. I am not sure maybe it's because of the location. There are other coffee shops around, but seems like this is the most hyped place. I saw the long Line for ordering, therefore, I placed my order online. Even with ordering online I had to wait 10 minutes or so. This is a really cute coffee shop. It has both indoor and outdoor seating area. Indoor is picture worthy. I noticed a lot of people were taking pictures. I ordered a latte. It was really good. I will give them credit for the coffee. It tasted really and was a perfect drink for a hot weather. I highly recommend ordering on the app to avoid the long lines. They have the cutest cups too. This location is located in Americana. For parking, there is metered street parking, Americana parking or just park in Glendale Galleria and walk to this location.
Always on a hunt for a good banana latte and found here at La La Land. I got the banana cloud latte which comes iced. You have the option to get it with espresso and or matcha! I got mines with espresso and it was so good. We always tried the Kieth Lee order which was a 4/5 (Strawberry Matcha). Service was pretty good with the exception of the lady sitting the tops that you drink from on the counter (not sanitary) and she got an attitude from me asking for a new top! Very busy place! But ordering seems to go by long. Over all so glad we tried it?
I had heard so many great things about La La Land, so I was glad I finally got the chance to try it. My first attempt at their Grove location didn't work out, so I was pleasantly surprised that the wait this time wasn't too bad. It was probably because it was Coachella weekend. As soon as I got there, I ordered the banana cream matcha, and it was a delightful surprise. The banana flavor tasted natural rather than artificial, and the matcha added a nice layer of depth that balanced everything well. It was a unique combination that really worked. The main reason I'd take off a star is the wait time--it still felt a bit long for what it was. I can only imagine how busy it gets on a typical weekend. The staff seemed a little tired, which is understandable given how popular the place is, but overall the experience was still positive. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely come back especially if the line is as manageable as it was this time. I'm not sure I'd wait through a much longer line for it to be honest. Until next time.
Heard a lot of great things online about this place and wanted to try the hype. The line was pretty long but the wait for the drinks wasn't too bad since they had a lot of baristas making the drinks. The price is kind of expensive for the amount you get. The aesthetic of the place is cute and the cups are of really good quality. They have plenty of outside seating and minimal inside seating. We ended up getting a strawberry matcha latte as well as both of the PSG collab drinks. The quality of the drinks were really good though, the foam is thick and sweet. Everything about the drinks were perfect except the size. Overall, I would go again if I was craving it but not on my regular list for sure.
Such a beautiful and cozy place! The atmosphere is amazing, the food was delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. It's a great spot to relax, enjoy a nice meal, and spend time with family or friends. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back!
I visited La La Land Kind Cafe and had a bit of a mixed experience. The first thing you notice is the huge line -- it's always packed. The interior is absolutely beautiful, very aesthetic and clearly designed with Instagram in mind. It's definitely one of those places where you come for the vibe and the photos. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience pleasant. Prices are a bit above average, which I wouldn't mind as much if the coffee matched my taste. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. Overall, it's a great spot for Instagram stories and a pretty atmosphere, but personally, I wouldn't come back because the coffee didn't meet my expectations.
Walked right in and surprised to see a short line. Definitely a win for the day. The lines are always out the door but definitely worth the wait. Ordered Banana cloud latte and a chai latte. Service was great and lattes came out fast.
I am not sure I would wait hours for La La Land, but it had a decent drink and if I was in the area and they had a short line, I would go back. I've been La La Land all over social media and since I was at the Grove, I definitely wanted to try. I got lucky and the line was only about 15 minutes. The employee was nice and I opted for the matcha latte. They have milk alternative, which is nice for a lactose intolerant like me. Drinks came out fairly quickly. They told us to wait outside where there is a pick up window. My matcha latte was pretty good, wasn't too strong and had a balance level of sweetness. Overall, I really liked the drink. I also tried the coffee latte, which wasn't my favorite, because the coffee was slightly too bitter for me. There's some seating inside and more seating outside. But even when I came during a slower time, there were no seats available. I was OK with it because I grabbed my drink and wandered around the Grove. But, if you're looking for a sit down experience, definitely would consider the limited seating.
A LA staple!!! I love La La Land!!! Everytime I have been here it has always been consistently good! The staff is always nice, the inside is a vibe and the drinks are so good!!!! They also have a wide variety of pastries and they sell merchandise! Cute hats and cute candles!!! This one is located in Glendale at the Americana. Yum, yum, I love you!

I was worried the drink wasn't going to taste good bc it just seemed like a place to get ur IG pics. But i was pleasantly surprised! We got the mango cooler and subbed the tea for lemonade. Also asked for less ice and less sweet. The staff was very accommodating and was happy to adjust our drinks. This drink was perfect for a hot day walking around the Americana. It is a small cafe. Line is out the door. It is very aesthetic - white and yellow, can't miss it lol. If I wanted a refreshing drink and didn't want the same old Starbucks I usually get, I would def come back to La La Land. :) I hope they add more non-caffeinated drinks in the future. read more

I can honestly say this is one of my favorite spots to get matcha! They constantly have special items on their menu which is always a plus and of course their regulars! I got the matcha squared latte and let me tell you it was fantastic. The perfect amount of sweetness where it's not too much. Everyone here is extremely nice and helpful they def get 10/10 for service. I asked for recommendations and the cashier was able to provide me clarity on what route to take. Haha because nothing sucks more when your matcha doesn't fulfill that craving. The cafe itself has a cute chill modern vibe to it. Def a place where you can sit at with your laptop just the hard part is actually finding a spot to sit at- since it is located at the Americana. Lastly, the only downfall I could potentially say is there is always a wait. There is never a time where the line is out the door. Which this is only a good sign right??? I will say that I love that you can order ahead online and just pick up your order without having to wait in the long line. My advice is if you're in a hurry maybe order online and have someone get off and get it cause parking is also not the easiest nor cheap. read more

This location just opened. A very attractive cafe with a ton of coffee, matcha and tea options. The staff was super friendly, and there was a line out the door. Ordered the green mango tea - very good and not overly sweetened. Also had the vanilla iced matcha which was good. Cute seating both inside and out, with a bright lemon yellow decor. La La Land has good coffee and okay food, but I cannot stress enough that you should not go to this location. First and foremost both MY and MY FRIEND'S drinks HAD A HAIR IN IT. One of us is an accident, but both of us who ordered separately and got our coffees nearly five minutes a part had hair in our coffee. I can't imagine how many other people had it and didn't notice. The service was also awful. At one point, I saw them give away my croissant to another person so I asked them to check on my order to make sure I hadn't missed something. Instead of taking two seconds to make sure they had my order, she told me that they needed to take care of the online orders and it would take nearly 20 minutes to heat up my croissant. If I had known it would be that long I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. I tried to explain that my friend's order and all of our coffees had come out and I think I saw her give mine away accidentally, but she literally just cut me off with a "sorry" and started to ignore me. We had to go to the front cashier to check who did confirm that they didn't have my order and they heated my croissant for me. No coffee is worth that kind of nonsense, especially when in the same plaza you have almost twenty other coffee options. read more

La La Land was our FAVORITE coffee of our entire LA trip!! The cafe itself is so cute we loved the aesthetic! Even the cups were stunning, they came with a heart shaped straw! They specialize in Matcha and Coffee, but they are known for their Cloud Cream, that's sweet and adds the perfect touch to each drink They have so many crazy latte flavors for both coffee and matcha, including Cookies n Dream, French Toast, S'mores, and Strawberry They have tons of specialty Toasts and Panninis both savory and sweet! La La Land has some really interesting coffee flavors on the menu especially for those latte enthusiasts. Hence I've been here like 5 times in the span of only two weeks. The entire coffee shop is adorable. They have outdoor seating too to enjoy the lovely vibes of the outdoor mall. Service is pretty fast. I typically see a line and sometimes it's even out the door but it goes by quickly. If you like fun flavors and seasonal flavors, I think you will certainly enjoy the coffee here! read more

Obsessed would be an understatement. My sister introduced me to this place. Been there weekly ever since! They have a large variety of drinks I'm sure there's something there for everyone (matcha, decaf, espresso). Can we talk about how cute these cups are for Valentine's Day. They also have really cute heart straws! So unique! Staff here is mostly nice. They have like 6+ workers and most of them are friendly and nice but I've had one or two that are just ehh. Wouldn't hurt to smile lol They have pastries too! I tried the cookie croissant thinggy. Which was basically a croissant with a chocolate chip cookie in the middle and on top. I was so excited to finally try La La Land while we were in LA yesterday. There was a line and we waited about 15 minutes. The girl letting people in at the door was unfriendly to both people entering and leaving and seemed to take her job as guarding the door a little too serious. There is zero reason to not smile or be friendly with people when your job is to be the first one you are greeted by. The line continued inside for another 5 minutes or so. We finally ordered. I got the French Toast Matcha latte. The flavor was okay, but the drink could have been much hotter. My boyfriend got another hot drink and had the same comments - his drink was not hot enough. Overall, the shop is nice. I like their mission. Their branding is cute. But otherwise, it's overrated in my opinion. read more

This is my second visit to A La La Land Cafe--my first was at the Grove. This time, I decided to try the Lululemon chai latte, and I swapped out whole milk for almond milk, which came to $7.76. I have to say, the service was absolutely lovely, especially for such an early morning at 7 am. The staff really went out of their way to be kind and welcoming. I also noticed that the ambiance here feels so much more inviting and is much cleaner compared to the Grove location. Overall, it's been a really pleasant experience, and I appreciate the effort that goes into making it so nice. read more

Haven't been back here for a couple of years but recently heard it got hyped up and thought that maybe it was better. Honestly the drinks are still pretty mid and not much has changed about it from what I remembered. I think between the rare beauty collab, lots of celebs that come here, and their cute yellow aesthetic, people really like it but I'm personally just not a fan. Everyone there is really nice though and it is a fun vibe for sure but if you're there for tasty drinks, it's not it. read more

Just came to lalaland at 4:30 on Wednesday the cashier girl was really rude when I asked if they have a decaf matcha. Like she was severely shocked and taken aback by my question. I asked if there's anything else decaffeinated and she said no just the espresso and then I think the nicer girl that was training her jumped in to say that they had 2 teas also decaf. This place had a bit of wait but overall the line wasn't too bad and moved fairly quick. The service was interesting not terrible but definitely a little standoffish!
