Not sure I get the hype here, but it was okay. I think aesthetics matter more than quality here. Fig matcha was just okay -- I got it less sweet, which I was glad for because it didn't need to be sweeter. The "fig" part of it was fig jam that had a nice texture but an almost plasticky sweet taste (weird description, I know, but I can't think of another way to detail that.) There are two sizes, small and large, with the large having double the matcha. I got the small because I didn't want that much to drink, but the matcha unfortunately did not have a very pronounced flavor. I mostly tasted oat milk and fig jam. It was a tasty enough beverage after stirring, but for a $10 price tag I definitely would choose another spot. The girl at the register was sweet, and there were fun pop songs on in the store, but the ambiance does not scream "hang out here!" There are two benches inside, no tables or chairs, and I didn't note with certainty if there was a bathroom or not, but it wasn't immediately visible. I also must not have heard the baristas call my drink out, because it was sitting on the counter for a few minutes until I saw it -- but I'd also been standing right there (one of two parties waiting) and making eye contact with the baristas and nobody said anything to me, so I was sort of surprised. Also, as a note for anyone concerned -- they don't have decaf coffee. One of the girls working said they'd have one "as soon as there is space" so perhaps it'll come soon, but be advised that it's not an option here now. read more

Rounding up to a five, but in reality, I would say this is a solid 4.5 s. Crema does matcha quite well, I wouldn't compare it to rok or any of the other k town heavy hitters but this is probably the best in proximity to the north east area. So far I've tried the strawberry and fig drinks lightly sweetened which were perfect to taste. It is a smaller cup and costs 7.75 a little steeper than most places and does not include a cream top which will run you an extra dollar. There is street parking, but it could be busy. Staff is very fast working and nice. read more

Great place to eat with a group, co-work, and meet people. There is free parking at the garage adjacent to the restaurant. Customer service was great. Food servings are large so be prepared to take food to-go. Only downfall is it was tricky to locate since it is in a commercial building. read more

We stopped here last minute on our way to LA and I am so glad we did! It's a very cute, small shop and the drinks were incredibly smooth and delicious. I had the tiramisu iced latte and my niece ordered the fig Matcha, which was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. We will definitely come back again! read more

Seems like this is a newer shop! We ordered 5 drinks, but sampled 3 of them (the other two were our family members'). They offer two drink sizes (the large one is nearly double the size of the larger one). We were hoping to get double matcha, but unfortunately they did not have the matcha cream today. Fig matcha: You have the option of adding a cream top, which I opted not to get. This was unique for the fig. You definitely get pieces of fruit in here, it almost has the texture of dates. Yuzu matcha: This does not contain any type of dairy/non-dairy portion. It is simply matcha with yuzu. This was refreshing as described and has the yuzu flavor, which is a fragrant citrus kind of flavor. Overall, I felt the matcha flavor was solid, more on the vegetal and umami side (don't come at me if I didn't describe that right, I'm still learning about how to describe matcha!) Crema latte (tiramisu inspired latte): The espresso was really smooth, a balanced drink, not too sweet. I enjoyed the cream top with the cocoa flavor. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The shop is on the smaller side, and there's more just benches for you to sit and wait for your order, rather than a place you go to hang out or to study. There is some free street parking. Overall, a solid place to get matcha and coffee with unique offerings! read more

This Palestenian-owned matcha and coffee shop in Glendale has been my go to whenever I wanna grab a drink from Doordash when I'm at work. I was finally able to go in person on a weekend and I was so happy that I did. I loved how all of the staff were so friendly and hospitable. The drinks here are top tier! They also carry cookies from Bakerie Marie which is such a nice addition to the store. read more

It was a delicious tasting matcha! My only feedback is consistency with the proportions of cream top. Mine had a very small dollop. Otherwise, the roses and cream matcha and milk and honey latte are definitely ones we'd come back for. Very friendly barista crew! Parking lot in the back with plenty of street parking! read more

Quick in and out, or maybe have a bit of a chat here, but not for working on laptop. I got their Fig Matcha! It has 6g of matcha ($7.75)! I chose the cream top (+$1) and oat milk (additional $). I believe they have oat, almond and whole milk as options. It was exactly what I needed and it was well made! Definitely one of the better ones I've tasted in town! Will be returning 100%! Parking? Such a cute little grab-and-go coffee spot! They seem fairly new and while the drinks are good, there's definitely room for them to shine even more. Prices are a bit steep but pretty standard for the area. I tried the fig matcha and cream top latte (both recommended by the barista/owner). Both tasty, though I personally would've loved them a bit stronger. The highlight for me was the amazing customer service. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming which makes you want to come back. I'd happily return to try more drinks and support this local spot as they continue to grow. Super cute place that seems to have opened just a few weeks ago( at least I had not seen it when I go on my afternoon walks). They don't have an actual sign, just a banner, so you can kind of miss it if you're not paying much attention. Place is small and had that very minimalistic white decor that's so popular now, but I personally do like it. I thought maybe they would have a banana matcha latte since it's been super popular right now, but was told they would have it soon. Got a rose matcha latte and it was very good. The rose foam that they used had a very nice taste to it, nothing overly strong, aka giving perfume vibes. LOL The staff was very kind and did answer any questions I had, I also appreciated them asking if I preferred my matcha more on the sweet or stronger side, not many places do that. I would definitely return and try their other drinks. Hopefully they'll add pastries as well. read more

The Fig Matcha is delicioussssssss & exceptionally better than any other fig matcha I have tried in LA. This place feels so so home-like. The baristas seem to know all their customers + remember their orders. Service like this is hard to come by. Their matcha is such high quality, you can literally tell by the first sip. New place in Glendale so I had to check them out. My current obsession is going to coffee shops whenever I get a chance. When my husband told me about this place I stopped by after a doctors appointment nearby. First impression was "why is this place so unwelcoming" ... I personally like warm cozy atmosphere when in a coffee or tea shop. So I wasn't a big fan of the minimalist decor. I'm thinking it's a grab and go place unless they have plans to add more. Anyways that's that now the coffee. I absolutely loved the iced shaken espresso with the rose water cold foam. So delicious. The smell and the taste of the coffee was just right. Customer service here was very friendly, my husband said the same thing when he went few days before me. Customer service is very important and they nailed it so far. Overall a great spot to get coffee and matcha from if you are on the go. I didn't notice any food items or pastries but who knows maybe soon. Cute little coffee shop nestled away in the Glendale Neighborhood. It could easily be missed with it being on a busy main street. I ordered 3 things to give it a go 1. Regular plain latte - Honestly top 5 lattes - I am not sure what it was but whatever beans they are using, it's smooth and tasty. 2. Strawberry Yuzu - Refreshing - Highly recommend for the summer time. 3. Pistachio Crossaint - Again - I don't know where they got this croissant from but the croissant was buttery, soft, flakey - everything you expect from a croissant. The pistachio filling in the inside was not too sweet and had great flavor. Parking - Mainly street parking (can be challenging since it's on a Main Street), I believe they have a small lot in the back that is for all businesses. read more

Great matcha. Loved the sweetness (ordered regular) and the sweet foam on top! The workers were so sweet. Went above and beyond to make this mid-day treat special for my toddlers who got kid coffees (milk w/ strawberry syrup -- not the artificial kind. We came here on a Sunday afternoon about an hour before closing time. We ordered the cream top latte and strawberry matcha with a cream top. There were no other customers so our drinks were ready right away. The cream top latte was delicious, not too sweet, with a really fluffy, thick cream top. The strawberry matcha was also good but had a bit of a bitter aftertaste. The place is a bit small but cute and the staff is friendly. I would say 5 stars for the customer service because the girls there are super nice! I feel bad but I just didnt like my drink :( I got the cream top latte and was expecting to be amazed by it. The staff is really the sweetest. I ordered for pick-up and they were pretty busy! Small but mighty shop and they are whisking the matcha in real time. I ordered the lavender matcha and the tea was a little lighter in intensity and unfortunately no lavender flavor. I saw the cute lavender topping, but I think the syrup may have been forgotten. I ordered a Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, half sweet and an extra shot. Definitely a little pricey, coming in close to $12 but I needed that extra shot of Matcha lol. I did order in since I was on my way to work and it was ready when I arrived! The lady at the counter was super sweet and there was no wait. I will say, even though it was a Thursday around noon, it was very crowded and noisy inside. The location is not large and it was packed with people, so if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a little drink, it might be more of a to-go place. read more

Wow wow wow!! I've been searching high and low for a good matcha spot in Glendale and this is the spot!! They have the most delicious smooth yet earthy matcha and the muddled fig on the bottom was to die for. I tried the rose one and the plain, both equally as delicious. Their strawberry matcha is spot on. The drink came out quick even tho they do tend to get busy. It's quite a small space so it does get crowded when there's a line. The only thing that they should change is the "regular" sized cup cause it's honestly made for like a lil kid to drink out of. You'd definitely finish it in just a few sips like I did read more

The drink was very good. A little too sweet of a matcha for myself but it was really tasty. I think if it's possible to adjust the sweetness if you're into less sweet and more of the earthy matcha ? The fig mashed at the bottom was very good also when u mix it in the drink. I bought the fig matcha and with a 10% tip the total was around 9$ for the medium size drink. I tried this place on a Tuesday morning around 10 am. There were two other customers waiting for their drink from the time I ordered I only waited 8 minutes for my drink, which is pretty good. It's pretty small and felt a little warm in there, I feel like it needed ventilation. It's more just a grab and go spot for now. They have two benches to sit while you wait which is nice. Brand new spot in the neighborhood so it's nice. The workers were welcoming and friendly. Will try again :) read more

Ordered the tiramisu and biscoff lattes (both iced) and they were delicious! That cream top is to die for, exactly what you want a cream top to be. Crema Coffee & Matcha is a great new addition to Glendale! I ordered an iced triple shot with their cream top, and my girlfriend got the cinnamon honey milk latte--both were absolutely delicious. The cream top deserves a special shoutout. It was so good that after I took my first sip, we literally went back to add the cream top to the latte too. It took both drinks to the next level! Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and quick. You can tell they really care about the quality of their drinks and the customer experience. I also got their Matcha Mont Blanc, serving simple sponge cake at the bottom, whipped cream and red bean at the center, tucked under the blanket of matcha cream. It was creamy yet light at the same time and I kind of enjoyed it as little nibble. The salt bread was certainly unquestionable. Other than the required wait time, it's a must try and probably indeed the house specialist or reason to come again!

There is signage on the sidewalk so you know you're at the right spot. It was just one person working but they did a great job at taking orders, making drinks, and keeping the line moving. There was definitely patrons coming in specifically for the drinks and taking it to go. There is a bit of seating available. Because it is a shared space, I think most people were keeping the volume low for anyone working. Not sure if that's the case when it's busier. The menu is all very tempting. We ended with a Cold Brew and a Sun Tropics Matcha. Cold Brew- delicious. It was definitely a favorite of my friend (who can be a bit of cold brew snob). Sun Tropics- omg. amazing. It's a mango, passion fruit matcha. I was worried that it would be too sweet but it was perfectly balanced. SO refreshing. And the flavors really came through without one overpowering the other. With summer and warmer days coming, this is easily going to be my new go-to. Our drinks were really great, it makes me excited to try the rest of the menu. They also gave us little flower doilies as coasters that we return at the end of our visit. Just a cute little detail.

I got to try the Amber Oolong Tea and it was definitely very refreshing and what I needed! The cups are pretty big so price for the tea is pretty worth it. Tea was very clean, refreshing, and authentic. The space here is also very spacious compared to many other Chagee places i've visited in Socal. Nice place to relax.

As I would prefer this place over any Starbucks, I give this place "only" four to of five - and not for quality/ service/ ambiance reasons: it is mandatory in my ranking scheme that I must be willing to do a 30+ min detour just to go here - and even though I really liked the place: this would be too much to ask for.
