So happy they opened this upscale cafe at Americana. Yes, parking is hard, yes there are long lines to order, yes, it costs a little more than your average coffee experience, but totally worth it! I enjoyed waiting in line because it gave me time to take in all the details of the surroundings. During my first visit, Jonas was my server and was patient explaining the difference between an iced latte and a cloud drink. The order came out perfect! Customer service here was beyond exceptional. They did such a great job to make sure that your order is correct. They are so friendly and willing to go out of their way to make sure you get the drink that you want. The ambience is a little chaotic even though I feel like the atmosphere is giving a little bit more calm. It was very busy. The line did take a little longer than average, but it's worth waiting for as they have a lot of great aesthetically pleasing looking drinks that taste just delicious. Went here because I had a gift card. Coffee was good and tasty, and the barista who took my order was very nice. However, wow, I would never spend money here based on the rest of what I saw. Which was, I kid you not, FIVE additional young people behind the register awkwardly standing around and socializing (another review referred to it as chilling and that's apt) while one sometimes got around to making drinks and one sometimes (with this one I really emphasize the 'sometimes') called out the name for the drink. I normally do not leave reviews and while the coffee and aesthetic are good, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. On the multiple occasions that I have been here, there was either not a cashier at the register or the cashier was off talking to other workers behind the counter. For the visit that has prompted this review, I had ordered a drink and some avocado toast. The store was not busy and I had gotten my drink pretty quickly. However, as with my other visits the toast took a while. I had waited for 30 minutes before finally asking about the toast and it was communicated they had forgotten to make my toast and another customers. All the while there looked to be multiple workers laughing and joking in the back room not doing anything. Also, they left the avocado pit in the toast itself.... Have been here a few times on rare occasions because parking is annoying and they're always so busy. I went to the grand opening of this location and had a fantastic experience! Everyone was very friendly, the food and drinks were delicious (and 50% off that day), and the vibes of the cafe were wonderful. I came back a second time a few weeks later and realized how pricey it can be without heavy discounts. Overall everything is still really good (I've tried their matcha, chai, lattes, and cold brew and for food, I've had the truffle burrata toast, olive oil cake and croissant). It's definitely more of a special occasion cafe than an every day spot for me but I'd recommend mostly because of the la la land foundation and what this brand is really all about. I placed my order 45 minutes before arriving, yet when I got there, my toast still wasn't ready. I asked the expediter for a status update--she said she'd check, but then just stood there for about 5 minutes until a coworker approached and finally followed up on my order. There was zero communication, so I had to walk up to the register myself. When I finally got the toast and reached my destination, it was burnt and honestly not enjoyable. For $12, I definitely don't recommend it. Safe to say I'll just go to Trader Joe's for some quality bread and make it myself--cheaper and more reliable. There is an option to request it "extra toasty," but this was not that as I didn't request that option. Just poorly made. read more

Just went to this cute shop today and ordered drinks. Someone stole one of our drinks and they had to remake it. So the worker calling out the drinks never checked the name. They don't give a receipt with number unless you request it. So what's the point of the person handing out the drinks?? The lavender latte was delicious. My friend said her iced latte was also decent. Although pricey, the cute cups with heart motifs on stoppers and straws ups their appeal. I ordered a regular with 2 pumps to lessen the sweetness. Decor and ambiance is very chic. Lines are long but move well. I hesitate to return though. The employees making the coffee wear tank tops!! All I could think about is what if his armpit hair or deodorant crumbs falls in my drink!!!! How's this okay for a food service business?? Definitely a completely different experience from the last time I went in to La La land! I went in December last year and it was a mess with people looking like they didn't want to be there. Their best trait is the fact that their matcha selection is equally extensive if not the same as their espresso menu. Their bakery selection appeared to be very delicious, although there were no vegan or gluten-free options.
