I was able to get a lot of work done and my friends came to visit at one point. It's smaller inside but there are probably 8-10 tables for customers. If I lived closer, I would definitely be here more often!

When I approached the counter, I was greeted by the friendly employees who were busy preparing orders. This gave me the opportunity to peruse their unique menu and settle upon a latte to order. My sweet tooth was in effect and I opted for the Tiramisu latte with oat milk and was asked if sweet was ok! I thought it was so cool how you're able to customize the drink as you please and bonus points for no charge for nondairy milk. It was very affordable at $6.85. My latte came out pretty quickly and I marveled at the cocoa powdered topping. It truly tasted like a dessert and was so rich and indulgent yet somehow I didn't feel gross after drinking it. The oat milk was creamy and perfectly frothed and the espresso was well balanced. I had a dance class that night and it gave me just the right amount of energy to make it through the class yet still manage to sleep fine that night! The young lady who helped was nice and explained how pick up works. Appreciate the helpfulness. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating area. There are several tables inside and I notice couple of tables outside. Store was very clean and well maintained. They also had sample cookies by the register for customers to try which was a nice gesture . This coffee shop is located in walking distance from Americana which makes it a great spot to grab coffee after shopping. There is street parking available and Americana/ Glendale Galleria are another option for parking. I will be back to try different coffees , since the menu looks different than other coffee places.

Which i was okay with both because i have a hotspot and I understand they have prime location so their goods are going to be over priced. But the thing that really deterred me was the enforced time limit. This place has a 45 min time limit for people who only order small orders. 90 min time limit for normal restaurant orders. Also the only table that they were able to offer me was the small one next to the door so wasn't really able to really appreciate the rest of the "cafe" as seen in the photos. They told me that they are more of a restaurant than a cafe. So the name "Cafe and Lounge" was very deceiving to me, definitely not the typical type of cafe you would think of. Got the vibe that they definitely don't want solo parties here. DONT come here expecting to study or relax solo. It's more meant for big parties and groups looking to chat it up.

My strawberry matcha was equally disappointing. It mostly tasted like plain milk, with one faint sip of strawberry and virtually no matcha flavor at all. Either they're using far too little matcha or the quality is simply poor. To top it off, the chocolate almond croissant tasted stale and was just as underwhelming as everything else. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place--especially considering the prices. McDonald's would've been a better option.

I just want to say that there is so much unprofessionalism with this location. I love the drinks from La La, and been to other locations. First, I noticed that they had employees pretend to be customers in what appears to be major damage control. Nate Herrera is a CURRENT lead there. Ella Sweeney works there, Anna V is a current employee. And they all pretended to be customers. That's misleading to guests, and a conflict of interest, Google Reviews are to be written by guests only, however Nate said " I've been coming here for awhile now and just want to say that" like what do you mean you work there!!! Ofc you've been going a while omg they can't even do pr right! They have to mislead guests by straight up pretending to be guests!!! Google says " Contributions to Google Maps should reflect a genuine experience at a place or business. Fake engagement is not allowed and will be removed," I think pretending to be a guests counts. It also says " Content that is based on a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest may include current employment" in support.google.com Also I find it interesting how Ella tried to come across like she's sweet at first, but I think that Afro hair man is on to something, she sounds snarky in her own review " I'll always keep it real and honest! Be careful and weary of ex employees relying on Ai to leave a review to dish their old dramas. Clearly they are an EX employee for a reason! La La Land constantly pushes kindness and good energy, and it's clear they did not have that to offer." Like she sounds judgmental, preppy and stuck up and like she's never been put in her place in her life. His post doesn't sound like Ai at all, she wouldn't even know that, she just hates him and is trying anything she can to insult him. AND NO PROFESSIONAL LEAD OR EMPLOYEE WOULD DO THAT. So it's clear Elle doesn't have much positive energy to offer but snarky judgey hateful energy I can read through a screen. "CLEARLY THEY ARE AN EX EMPLOYEE FOR A REASON," like you are proving his point, what kind of toxic place is this, Ellla you need counseling. Why support a business that allows this behavior. Not professional at all, and the fact la la even praised the comment shows who they are, a company that protects bullying culture and a toxic environment. La la knows that these commentators are EMPLOYEES and they say "omg thank you for the review" those are your own employees!!! And they better be careful, I googled and found those exact legal codes and he's right, if they did that, then they committed harrasment. I love the drinks here but can't condone a place that silences people who speak up!!! I also came in several times, I've heard them playing Sticky several times, some body named Dooechai or Doechi and heard body part names I can't repeat. I couldn't believe it lol. And I heard Jack say "better catch this p*" behind the counter and started twerking. He shakes his butt often and it makes me uncomfortable as a guest. A few months ago a girl named Mia said blue waff and I'm like ewww. This is a family friendly place. If someone brought up concerns and you guys act like this, ooof that's major EVIDENT retaliation and to pretend to be guests too. Oof. If you go in, listen to the music they may. Watch how they are on their phones the WHOLE TIME, I've even seen them watch YouTube and movies and take calls while on bar!! Do you want people making your drinks that are on the phone watching a movie or show and have AirPods in and are on a FaceTime. I can't believe this is a real business. How about instead of trying to write fake reviews from current employees that you guys aren't upfront in your own reviews about and have corporate reasons to make it seem more legit acting again like they aren't the same people lmfao, how about you put the same amount of energy into having a respectful non sexual work environment. If they did any of that at jobs I worked at they'd be let go instantly. We visited La La Land Cafe on a Saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised that the wait wasn't too bad. The atmosphere was bright and inviting--perfect for a casual weekend hangout. We ordered the Cookie & Dreams matcha latte with almond milk, the Banana Cream Top matcha latte with whole milk, and the La La Dream Toast. The avocado toast was light yet flavorful--perfectly shareable between two people and not overly filling. Both drinks were great, but the Banana Cream Top matcha was the real standout. The soft top had the perfect texture--not too thick, and unlike many popular versions right now, it didn't taste artificial or overly sweet. So excellent! Drinks were so sweet and yummy, I love the aesthetic inside the store, and I commend these employees for keeping a good energy despite what can be overwhelming volume. I used to be a barista at Joe and the juice, and I can't even imagine dealing with this volume of people nearly everyday. It's popular for a reason!!! I will say, I wouldn't come here to study or hop on a zoom call. The energy is very very lively. I believe this is the point, but with such a busy store and loud music, it's not a place to lock in and focus. Which is totally okay! I visited earlier today to study and get some work done, and I was beyondddd impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. Despite the massive line, they made my La La latte in no time, and it was perfect. They even went the extra mile and brought out an adorable La La Pup bandana for my little poodle--he loves it! The café has ample seating both inside and outside, making it a great spot to enjoy your coffee, relax, or work. I was thrilled to discover they've opened this location at the Americana. I've always loved the Calabasas spot, but the distance was a bit of a trek. This new location is much closer to Burbank, so I'll definitely be coming here much more often! read more

I really love this place and I do try to get it once daily at least. But this is the only location that turns off their mobile ordering throughout the entire day almost. I don't understand if there is an option for that why is it always off? Some people have a lunch break and need to place the mobile order to make it on time. It's pretty upsetting. And I think they are understaffed because the line is always out the door and only one register is working all the time and the ordering process just always takes forever. I stood in line one time for 45 minutes and the line wasn't even out the door at that time. I wish they could manage their system better knowing they are a very popular shop. read more

I was at this coffee shop today when one of the workers suddenly yelled out someone's name so loudly that the entire place went silent. Service was super knowledgeable and friendly and made good recommendations. Cream top is very sweet, and goes great with the mellow latte below. This tastes like the kind of vanilla ice cream your kids love. I got the large 20oz size and enjoyed every ounce! Iced marshmallow was perhaps not a good idea only because the marshmallows got chilled and became a weird texture. Definitely our bad ordering it that way! Get it hot, the way it was thoughtfuly designed , and I'm sure it's delightful! This truck is in the office building courtyard off to the right before you pull into the garage on Monterey. There are tables with it umbrellas around for shade in the summer. There is sometimes street parking right in front of the office building on Brand, otherwise the lot for this complex is $1 for every 12 minutes and this stand doesn't validate (tho Equinox does, apparently).

The strawberry cold foam was one of the best I've ever had. Tasted like fresh strawberry ice cream. Although they have a decent amount of seating, I found that it wasn't a super comfortable place to work on the computer and I didn't see anyone else doing it. It was a hot day and the AC was blasting which is fine except I didn't bring a sweater (it was ~100 degrees outside). People were constantly in and out and I just felt like I couldn't settle in and focus. Also, not the coffee shop's fault but there were a lot of cops hanging out in the morning and between their loud talking and their walkie talkies going off, I just decided to go someplace else. acab. Overall, great place to pop in and pick up food or beverages but not the best place to work if you've got more than an hour's worth. If I lived in the area, I'd love to try some of their other menu items though.

There is some seating in and around the cafe but if a lot of people are there, it is kind of limited. The staff is nice and patient as you peruse the many options on their menu. I will be back to try more of their menu items.

Esso's matcha is by far my favorite matcha in this city. I also like that they have combinations you don't typically find elsewhere - such as a cherry matcha latte. Definitely something I'd get again! The staff here are also so nice, which made the experience even better. There are quite a few parking options. There's metered street parking, or you can walk from Galleria Mall, which is maybe an 8-minute walk. I was also able to find public parking along N Orange St, where it's $1.25 for 30 minutes. I'll definitely be back to try more of their items!
