Our whole family resides in marbella since 2020, we all speak spanish fluent. However i will write the review in english so as many as possible can read it. My secretary had made the reservation for us at the restaurant at 20:00hrs. We arrived and started to eat and drink nobody told us anything about minimum spend or so. We finished early 21:17hrs, we got the bill (Total 216.50 euros) and I asked to pay and they tell us that we do not have to pay anything since they already charged my card 400 euros. I told them my secretary made a deposit for the reservation but nobody said anything about a minimum spend of 400 euros for 2 people. I told it must be a mistake. Somebody else came and said the same thing that we had to pay and it was their policy in July and August. I would understand if we would have had a salad and water for 50 euros, but we spent 216.50 euros so it was not cheap. They insisted they could not do anything, which is ofc bullshit. ' They should also tell all their clients when they come that it is a minimum 200euro spend, which ofc they do not want to do because that feels really shitty to open a hospitality experience with that.... If they had been smart they would have at least given us a voucher for another time or similar since i come there all year around since the opened. And we the regulars are the once make them survive in the winter etc... Really bad experience and you know what they say a bad customer will tell 10 people about their experience so here you go.... A shame to see restaurants in marbella starting to abuse pricing this way.... We all know that labour cost, groceries and rents not are at London pricing so why then try to Fxxx over your clients. The very rude woman working there charges her own prices. Their menu clearly shows it's $7 for a torta, she charged me $10 plus tax and tip. When I asked her about why it cost so much, she very rudely said, "That's what we charge, the menu is wrong!" And proceeds to kick me out simply because I asked why a $7 food item was almost $12. read more

Little hole in a wall taco and oddly enough pancake restaurant. We had 2 taco dinners and some cocktails. Don't get a margarita here but their patron shots were $10 a piece I think their beer was cheap since everyone was drinking them. The bartenders are amazing though! Really nice. They gave us a shot on the house. I couldn't find my debit card and they helped me find it so very nice people. Everyone knows the staff was helpful. The outside of the restaurant says pancake house outside. But they only serve Mexican food and pancakes with nothing else except wal-mart syrup. Came in the morning to have pancakes as advertised and they're blasting Mexican music louder than a nightclub and they sell jewelry inside next to the diners it's extremely cringy. Don't recommend bringing a date or family except maybe that one creepy uncle no one talks too. read more

Had to leave the car in the shop for an hour and so I decided to look around for something to eat. I found La Lena and let me tell you our waitress was very kind. I tipped 25% because of her service. They were playing very nostalgic Mexican music that had a very comforting scenery in it. I can see myself eating in the day or at night. We ordered Torta de Jamon (ham) and torta de Pastor. They were very good and the bread was very good and different from other places. The chips were nice but the salsa verde was perfectly spicy that I put it on everything. read more

I've lived in the neighborhood for a couple years now, and finally got around to trying this place. Delicious! And appropriately priced. Al pastor taco was awesome, so flavorful and the onion and cilantro is simple but great. Great structure and taste to the tortillas and I got a side of guacamole that was fantastic. Crispy chips were well salted and went with the guacamole really well. Reminded me of Donkey Chips if you've had those, and those are my favorite. I ended up here on my way to a friend's gallery opening on Armitage (on the North Avenue bus) when I discovered that the area around North and Pulaski was currently too deserted for me to feel OK walking around much on a frigid night. (This perception was enhanced when I picked up my pace after getting off the bus and followed a pair of hipsters and those two guys wheeled around anxiously and made sure I wasn't a threat.) This place has wonderful hospitality and great huevos rancheros, and was a lovely refuge on a Saturday night when my plan B was reading a book. My server, who speaks primarily Spanish, interpreted my confession that I speak a mixture of Spanish, Italian and French as meaning that I'm probably best addressed in Italian, and saluted me on may way out (after I had spent two plus hours with my nose in a book and a succession of infusions of Mexican chocolate and brandy, the first of which was on the house), with "ciao, buona notte." The whole thing was a joy. I want to go back and I live on the south side near the lake. If I ever move to West Humboldt Park I want to live above it. read more

This was my first time eating here. I was so hungry that I ordered two dishes all for myself. I had the huevos a la mexicana and an avocado torta all to myself. The food was so good that I ate everything off of both plates. The waitress was good. She took my order fast and had my food out in no time as I was really starving. But the real reward was meeting Abel, the owner. I chatted with him for a few minutes and he was very welcoming. I would come back here anytime . Come try it for yourself. read more

Great food, open early and late. We came with our 19 month old son, we asked for a specifically made quesadilla and it was made perfectly. The food was made fresh and the meat cut very well. I ordered her for the first time today. First off my order was : 7 steak tacos customized various ways all of them were made correctly. A steak tostada and an order of Pico and chips. Everything was awesome I'm stuffed after just the tostada and 1 taco so much delicious meat. Also the pico was a little salty but I fixed that with some extra lime. Also I ordered delivery and it came within 30 minutes which was awesome. The price was also very good my order above and a 6 pack of modelo with delivery and tax 40$ that's awesome. The only 2 little not so good points is my pico was at the bottom of the bag and got squished and leaked but they had it in a plastic bag so it didn't get all over the food which redeemed it. Also my tostada was a tad soggy but that's to be expected especially since it was delivery. All in all I definitely will be ordering again and this will probably be my new go to taco place read more
