They have good amount of pints 'to go' a TON of toppings and VEGAN OPTIONS!!! Open space, tables to sit down and eat. Clean large bathroom too. Now the dessert creations were impeccable. Fresh waffle cones and fresh toppings. I kept it simple with a pecan crumble on vegan vanilla. Wifey got a strawberry 'something' with pieces of cheesecake. When I tell you they are precise with the placement of the toppings to ensure you have even bites--- I mean it.

Each visit is a discovery of new deliciousness and temptations for the tastebuds. Last time I went with a decaf affogato with vanilla softserve, the classic. SO GOOD! 5*/5. I've been dreaming about getting it again so finally went today. and was immediately distracted by their extensive hot chocolate and drinking chocolate menu which now I need to go back and try. While I thought I'd go for the classic decaf affogato, I was enticed by the espresso X version which includes a warm chocolate chip brownie, hot fudge, rice krispie sprinkles, and the decaf espresso (at my request), vanilla and chocolate twist (other options just vanilla or just chocolate) - for the same price as the classic. How could I resist? Amazing - 5*/5 I have yet to try something at Lu & Aug's that isn't outstanding.

SHOP AT THE HEAD NUT CANDY SHOP NOT HERE!! If I could give zero stars I would, and by the look of…read moreother reviews they would deserve it. Spent almost $50 on candies and treats, and firstly all of the "bulk" candy was clearly stale and had been out for a long time. My partner and I also purchased treats called "thin mints" (which any google search would tell you thin mints = girl scout style cookie treat) but when we opened them at home they were peppermint patties, a completely different treat and not something either of us like. We went back today to see if we had been given the wrong thing or if they could help us, and the woman there (assuming she was the owner/manager by her demeanor) was so so unprofessional and dismissive! We walked in and no one greeted us, the "owner" woman was at the register on her cell phone talking and turned away from us upon walking in. After a few minutes a young girl came out and helped us, so I explained the miscommunication the day before. The owner (note, she was also in the store the day before during our initial transaction) interrupted to explain in a pretty condescending way that they meant something different by "thin mints" and that we clearly did not know. She then got back on her phone and turned her back, clearly did not care that a customer was unhappy. I explained to her employee that this was clearly a miscommunication and can they help us with switching to a candy we like or give us a refund, and she quickly refused and offered no other path to making the situation right. So disappointing to want to support a small business, just to realize they completely don't care about what they are selling or who they are selling to. Seriously, go to the Head Nut candy shop in town instead.

I got cookie dough with rainbow sprinkles, a true treat on a hot day!

The yogurt is also great, super dense and very flavorful. All the fruits they serve here are fresh and juicy, and their yogurt bowls would be perfect for a warm day. I'm excited to try their other bowls as well (i.e. acai, etc). Amazing spot and a great addition to Ardmore!

We were immediately greeted with free samples: small cups of their signature yogurt creations and some candied fruit lollipops. We were searching for a dessert place, so would this 'cold-strained' yogurt satisfy our craving? The jury is still out. I'd use it more as a meal replacement (more like Playa Bowls type) than a dessert. If you're looking for cold like ice cream or frozen yogurt, Chums isn't quite up to that task. But as far as the yogurt itself, I really enjoyed it. It was flavorful and very dense. The cold-straining process created that denseness, which to me is better than the texture of regular yogurt. You can customize your toppings to make for a very satisfying treat. The base price for a yogurt bowl is a little pricey ($13 for our customized bowl), but it was enough for a family of four to share after a meal; and no one cried for more 'dessert'. Cute store. Kids will love it.

Cookies are one of my favorite baked goods. I love cookies so much that I have a problem when it…read morecomes to eating cookies: I cannot stop and have a serious cookie volume problem. That's why I was extremely disappointed the two times I have tried Crumbl cookie and both were from different locations. The most recent was the one closest to my home, from the spot in Broomall. My older daughter LOVES their cookies. She sucks with food and generally doesn't know what's she's talking about when it comes to deliciousness. However, she brought a box home and insisted that in try their cookies again, and after some cajoling, she was able to annoy me into giving them another shot. Once again, I was unhappy I decided to try them. I have come to only one conclusion after repeated attempts to enjoy their stuff...that Crumbl cookies simply aren't good. They're just not good. Yes, cookies alone, even just the concept makes them good and that's why there is some inherent value to their product. But these cookies are just dismal. There is nothing unique to them at all. They do offer some differing selection, but ninety percent of their "varieties" are simply sugar cookies with different icings or toppings piled on top. That is a flat cake with no rising agent and different sugar contents. They are also never hitting the sweet spot of texture in my opinion either; too dry and crumbly, or almost like uncooked dough inside was my experience on both occasions. If that's your thing, then you will probably love this, and that's great! Go support them. However, as a cookie lover, I cannot in good conscience, justify spending the insane amount they are asking for non-cookies that are just flavored icings on top of a sweet baked puck that lacks heart and soul, an essential part of what you can taste when you have a cookie that has had real love and effort put into it. You can tell that Crumbl at one point had a vision that was wonderful. What it seems like is that it became a trendy place that then gained popularity due to its difference and its dedication to making everything hyper-sweet instead of truly savory and delicious, very much catering to the very young. There is nothing wrong with that, but I guarantee you somewhere along the way, the true bakers behind this brand lost their way, sold out to the hype, and it is now a apple-store clone sellout slinging crappy cookies that just aren't really "cookies". Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for the desserts they offer, although their staff is very nice and excited about their products in my experience and their stores are very clean. Almost too clean, like pharmaceutical manufacturing bright white antibacterial clean blank spaces which is very off-putting. Instead I would say make some cookies on your own and learn the beauties of making some of the best cookies you've ever had, or checking out some of the other parties in this same space. However, if you LOVE icing and gigantic monstrosities that are priced more like a full meal for a night out at restaurant, and really want that whole experience, this may be the place for you. As always, I am open to having my mind changed, but this has violated a core value I have with my beloved cookie, and after two tries, I still don't like the cookies or their model. Convince me otherwise! I would really like to enjoy them like everyone else seems to.
