Whoa! This hidden gem is amazing! Highly recommend. Lots of options and Mexican candies. They had Mazapan! Pictured is the torta. I can't wait to explore more!

An absolute gem in GR!! Easy to miss but a place you must stop by for authentic tacos, horchata, and more. I've visited a few times before but only ever tried their churros - the best I've ever had!! But today I tried the tacos, carne asada fries, elote, and horchata. So unforgettable! Fast and friendly service, menu with great variety, and delicious food - what more can you ask for? The tacos are packed with flavor, the fries are cheesy, and the elote is perfect. I prefer it in a cup so it doesn't get stuck in my teeth. The horchata was so good too, not too sweet or watery. Overall, a great place for a meal or just dessert.

La Loteria is my favorite Mexican restaurant! It's very cute inside and the menu is huge! The food is absolutely amazing. It's fresh, delicious, and priced well. The service is great and everyone is very friendly. Definitely recommend!!!

Such good food! I've cream was not very creamy but I think it was homemade. I wasn't disappointed. Plus they're open late!

Such a unique experience! We came in late Sunday night around 9:30pm and ordered the Las enchiladas. The process was a bit confusing for us because we don't read/speak Spanish and there was very little English on the menu. It made it a bit difficult to order! We wanted to try some ice cream and saw lots of people with it and it looked amazing...but just was challenging to figure out what to order so we passed on it. The wait was longer than we had expected to get our food, and seemed like it took them awhile on others ice cream orders as well -- but they looked delicious once they came out! When you arrive, take a number and that is how they call you up to place your order! The enchiladas were really good and for such a reasonable price! I'd like to go back and try some more things!

My my, this place has a maaassive menu! There are two types of enormous menus, one where you'll see two or three things you like out of 100, and one where you're like okay I'll order everything. This place is the okay I'll order everything. I came across this place looking for elotes, I was really craving some so I hopped on Yelp and it took me straight to La Lotería. The place is pretty cute on the outside and inside. They have their own parking, bonus! When you first walk in, they tell you to grab a (playing?) card with a number on it so they can keep track of the order in which to go in. That was pretty cool, makes things easier! Service is pretty quick and staff is friendly. Can't go wrong with that! I ordered 3 tacos de carne asada (steak tacos) - comes with steak, onion, cilantro and a side of their green spicy sauce. I had to get the elotes of course, that's why I went there to begin with. I decided to get it in a cup since it's easier to eat and it doesn't get stuck in between your teeth. I saw that they had fresh orange juice and I'm a sucker for fresh OJ so I had to get me some! Okay I'm seated and reaaady to eatt!! The tacos were reaaallly good! Nothing crazy about them, no extra stuff that have no business being there, just plain ok' authentic Mexican tacos! Squeeze of lime, throw some hot sauce and voila! Oh and they stack it up with steak, like a looot of steak! Now the elotes, omg the elotes.. the BESTEST elotes ive had ever!! Their mayo to cotija to elote ratio is the bomb.com :) yum can't get enough! The OJ was a nice mix to the tacos and elotes, not too sweet and super refreshing. I'll try not to be there once a day for my elotes haha. Only thing is the tables were a little messy, would have been nice to sit on a clean one but all of them were pretty messy :/ tables as well. Had to wipe mine before sitting down.

This review should be about desserts. However, admittedly our lunch was so good and filling I could not find room. There is always later right? We have stopped here many times for the incredible, and I mean incredible ice cream, gelato and fresh fruit. This review is about lunch. I ordered the Torta Milanese (beef). This sandwich was so full of flavor! The toasty bread, avocado, jalapeños, tomato, onion, cheese and beef were on a comfort-food level. Their tacos are to die for as well. But. Keep in kind it's basically illegal to not get dessert here!!! So, save room!

Looking for the best Mangonada and elote in a cup? Look no further! The mangonada was blended thick, which I love and had the perfect amount of chamoy to make it tart, sweet, and delicious! The elote was delicious, but I didn't realize how big the cup was! We def had plenty to share and even to take home. We ordered the chicken enchiladas which was placed over a sauce and came topped with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, avocados. They were delicious and had great flavor. We ordered two tacos- carne asada and pastor and they were fresh and packed with so much flavor. I prefer these tacos over some other local vendors because there's more of a softness to the corn tortilla which made the tacos more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

We got a mangonada, vanilla ice cream , 1 elote in a cup

We ordered or thought we ordered the #9 lunch but got something a bit different but still very tasty. The plate was full of all the standard stuff, beans, rice, salad, main dish. The chicken under the cheese was delicious and moist. The beans and rice were flavorful without being dry. The salsa was unique. It was something of an acquired taste. The margarita flight was delicious! The prickly pear and traditional were our favorites. The blue one was a close second or third. The mango with the spicy rum was our least.

The menu consists of your typical items like tacos, burritos, Panchos (nachos), tortas, and more. They also have a lunch special and a daily deal (3 tacos, rice, and beans for $12.50 but no mix and match proteins). Since it was taco tuesday, tacos were $2.50. Nate got three tacos (al pastor, asada, and tinga) and I got a wet burrito with asada. We also ordered a horchata to share and chips and salsa. They have some dine in space but were doing a lot of takeout orders while we were there. Our chips and salsa came out first and the rest of our food shortly after that. The tacos came without toppings since you can load them up with their salsa/toppings bar. The tacos were super stuffed with meat! The burrito was massive - we shared it and still had leftovers for the next day. I tried each of the tacos and they were all delicious. The meats were not dry and again the portions were generous. I really liked the burrito as it was full of meat, cheese, beans, rice, guacamole, lettuce... it had it all. I wish the fillings were mixed up a bit more but it was so tasty. Service was great - we were asked how our meal was and they cleared our table when we were done. I'm really glad we finally made it to Poncho's Tacos and will definitely keep them on my Taco Tuesday list for the future!
