My friends and I stopped by here expecting not to pay the expensive tourist prices closer to Mont Tremblant. We saw somewhere their spaghetti was closer to starting at $10 but it actually was starting at $13 when we got there. They mainly speak French here but the welcoming waitress who didn't know English immediately tried to get some one who spoke English to help us with what we need which was nice. I ordered garlic butter spaghetti and was not really a fan. This is not really on them, it is more me realizing I am not a fan of this type of spaghetti. I think other people at my table had their own complaints with the food such as the spaghetti being thinner than they expected. Or that one person ordered lasagna and it had pepperoni in it. They thought it was strange that anything outside of pizza has pepperoni. I didn't bat an eye for what was in it but felt it should be included. read more

I think Chef Boyardee opened up this restaurant. This Italian diner serves up spaghetti, pizza, and typical sandwiches. The placement mat serves up ads. While their dessert flip through menu serves up false hope. Started with French onion soup that oozed with cheese on the top and and even at the bottom of the soup. Not bad, but the onions weren't caramelized so the soup didn't have much depth. I ordered the spaghetti meatballs (12.50) and it was basically the super sized version of those canned Chef Boyardee pasta meals from the texture of the meatballs to the texture of the spaghetti. The house spaghetti (12.25) included spaghetti with mushrooms, peppers, and pepperoni in their meat sauce, which I think my fellow diners got a better meal. We shared the cream fudge cake which is vanilla cake with cream fudge, glaze, toffee, and a cream puff. The description and picture sounded and looked divine. Much to my disappointment the cake wasn't as pretty, overly sweet (this is coming from someone who loves desserts and sweets) and the cream puff was very sad. I'm giving this place 5 stars even though it's a neighbourhood diner because of the overall experience - great with kids, very friendly servers, awesome homemade food in big portions, and a special small town charm. We had pizza, lasagna, spaghetti and smoked meat sandwiches and everyone loved it. If you're tired of being ripped off at Mt. Tremblant Resort for 3rd rate food, crowds and surly service take a break and support this lovely little spot. read more

Ok, we've been told to go here since we checked into the B&B near Tremblant. We finally decided to go for it. We actually tried to go here earlier on the trip, but got lost and ended up going to the Irish pub in the main Tremblant town near the resort. This place is a classic Diner type of restaurant. Most of the customers are local St. Jovite folks and truckers/workers going through the area - basically your typical blue collar worker joint. To start - better learn some french, or at least attempt to speak some French. When we first sat down, the waitress refused to help us, only speaking in French. I mangled out "come back in 5 minutes" in quasi-french and she understood. When she came back, with the help of Google Translator on the Blackberry and my son's grade 9 french, we managed to order, and lo and behold, the mood of the waitress changed dramatically to very forgiving, and she even responded in English a few times. As i've read by others on Quebec, they want to see you try and make an effort of the local language and they will play nice. Worked here. We ordered French Onion Soups for the wife and me, and my son got his usual Caesar Salada. The soup was downright good - very good. Son liked the salad, not more I can add. Next, we ordered pasta with meatballs, and my wife got her lighter, pasta with garlic and olive oil sauce. Both were good, nothing special or outrageous, but good - definitely not something made from a box or carton - you could tell this was cooked here. This place is cheap! $60 for all 3 of us with dessert. You can't beat that these days. The portions are pretty big and you will go home sleepy from the intoxicating food. After having spent this day in -20 celcius snowshoeing through the woods of Domain Bernard, ending it with a stop to this place was good. Everyone is going to bed happy tonight. So we got there by mistake but at least they make all day breakfast! I tried to spaghetti and for a place named after that it was really not good. But on the other hand the pizza was really good :) Oh yeah and they put bids on their clients so they don't get dirty :P read more

Diner style restaurant with good prices. Had the spaghetti and meatballs for $9.95 - delicious! Homemade sauce full of veggies, tender, well-seasoned meatballs, and a generous portion. Came with some fresh-baked bread and butter. Also had the chef salad with yummy homemade dressing. If you're looking for a casual, affordable family dinner, this is a good spot. read more

(Hawaiian pizza) Unimpressive, soggy pizza, all of the toppings fell off when I picked it up. It was wide, long pieces of ham with tastless cheese on top. Very disappointing when there are so many other, good looking restaurants around here. read more

Been here several times over past 3 years. Mostly frequented by locals. Food is consistently good. Not great, but good. Can't really go wrong. Diner atmosphere. If you want something fancier, go to Vieux Four about 2 blocks up the street. read more

Great service and food is great! If your looking for easy, no fuss food this is the place! The Pizza and pasta is amazing. Servers are on their feet and fast they are sweet ladies. You gets lots of food for your dollar. Get the Pizza-spaghetti and enjoy! Seeing other review yes there is placemats with advertising! No big deal they are advertising local. This is the kind of diner you will find in Quebec! Also get a dessert Tarte aux sucre if you have a sweet tooth! read more

lovely friendly staff made us feel at home. food is tasty - we all enjoyed the meal. generous pizza toppings but crust will get soggy because toppings are under the cheese. it is a bit expensive for what you get: small salad for the $$, but spaghetti portions are good sized (not humongous) and for some reason pizza in this area is really expensive - but good. a nice family resto and worth a visit if you want a solid unfussy meal. read more

Delicious pizza and great spaghetti. ALL the waitresses speak english. Please don't be afraid to order in english. The english community here in Mont Tremblant as well as all over Quebec have rights too despite what the PQ run papers say. Order in english and if they treat you rudely ask them for the manager or as if they'd like you to take your business elsewhere. Nearly all these waitresses speak english or they wouldn't be hired. I know I live here and the more people try to speak french the more they take away our english rights. By english community I mean not only the non-french recent immigrants but the Irish, British, Scottish communites that have been here for hundreds of years. Thank you. read more
