Came here while visiting Mont Tremblant. Didn't want to eat at the village so found this place. The atmosphere is diverse. There is both the pub side with TVs for sporting events, and the dining room side with a log cabin type classic feel. Wait staff are extremely friendly. Got here just before a rush - the place does get very busy! Appetizers we ordered the tapas trio - which is your selection of 3 apps. We got the chicken satay with an awesome peanut satay sauce, the deep fried cauliflower, and the truffle potatoes. The truffle sauce for the potatoes was amazing. Very complex and just enough to split. The main course with the braised short ribs with the mashed potatoes. You don't have the upgrade the side - the mashed are a staff favourite. When the main course of braised short ribs came, it was amazingly tender, fall off the bone, and the sweet sauce was just right. The creamy mashed potatoes and veggies made a perfect finish. Cannot compliment the place enough. It lived up to the reputation and we will be back again! Great place for a dinner with friends or family just a few minutes from the slopes. read more

We came here 5 years ago. We loved the experience and the food. This time around, things are different. The wait staff didn't know their menu and food took a very long time to come out. Thankfully the steaks were cooked medium rare but it was very tough and grizzly. The poutine of the day was not worth ordering. It's super loud here. It's hard to hold a conversation without shouting. It might be why other guests were shouting. We ordered the bread pudding and the crème brûlée trio. The bread pudding in a can is phenomenally good. I am so happy to have taken another chance to travel outside the skiing village for dinner. A few nights earlier we had Italian in this area and I looked on Yelp to see if I could find something different. We decided on this place as it had several great reviews. The reviews were not wrong! We loved it!!! We were a party of 9 and they accommodated us in their upstairs room. It was like we rented our own private area! Besides the food being amazing our server Marie-France went out of her way to make our evening memorable! I will always remember the kindness she shared with our big family. Saint Jovite is a cute little town that is now incorporated into the larger Mont Tremblant area. My dad used to come here over 30 years ago for the races, so I have known about the area for quite some time. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate. The service was excellent and staff was perfectly bilingual. I ordered the steak frites with the arugula salad with red grapes, pine nuts, shaved parmesan cheese in a white wine balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was excellent as was the steak and accompanying fries and vegetables. My friend ordered the grilled goat cheese salad and lentil soup for dinner. Both were generous portions. The salad consisted of fresh spinach, endive and radicchio lightly tossed with grilled almonds and a honey thyme dressing. She said it was excellent. First time dining in a restaurant since covid hit and this was a perfect re-entry to the dine-in experience. Since this place is busy even on weeknights, definitely call to reserve! They have quite a bit of outdoor seating with heat lamps but we were feeling a bit chilled so we choose to sit inside near the kitchen. In that section, there were only 5 parties seated to ensure social distancing. We ordered from the menu online and the service speed was just ok but friendly. The mains are smaller portions and you could do better with an appetizer but we were there for the desserts and didn't want to be too full so we skipped the appetizers and went straight for the mains. Steak frites and flank steak dishes were rustic but nicely done. We had them cooked medium well. The frites could've been crispier but were really good with the mayo dipping sauce. The steak had a good grill flavor on its own and I didn't find it needed the dipping sauce. Under the steak were butter sauteed carrots, zucchinis, mushrooms and some spinach and caramelized chopped onions. The flank steak was juicy and flavorful covered in a really good shallot juice. Mashed potatoes were so creamy...great for sopping up that juice. For the desserts, we ordered them before our last bites. Pouding chomeur arrived in a maple syrup can nice and hot with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream and a golden berry accent. It's a big portion and it's rich and sweet so we were able to finish it by splitting it. The maple creme brulee was the best, followed by the chocolate but the vanilla barely tasted of vanilla. Overall, I was satisfied with my meal here, a good, solid experience. I'd come back to eat when in the area again. read more

We scouted out a few restaurants before our trip to Mont Tremblant since we'd be there over a holiday week. Le Grill Saint Georges was our first nice dinner. The place is divided into two parts, the restaurant and the bar/pub area. The restaurant is on the small side, so if you want to eat there, reservations are strongly recommended. We were seated immediately in the restaurant; the atmosphere is cozy and casual. To start, we ordered the trout tartare and escargot appetizers. I didn't try the escargot, but the tartare was quite good. We also ordered two bottles of wine, one white and one red; their wine markups are quite reasonable and the bottles we bought good. I don't recall what my dining companions ordered, but for my entree, I ordered the grilled trout. The trout was great, moist and flavorful and was served over mixed vegetables. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate truffles. Service was friendly and attentive. After dinner, we moved into the pub area for a few drinks before heading back towards the ski village. It's a much more casual atmosphere with TV's. We actually returned the following night for drinks before heading back to our AirBnb. It might only be on weekends, but on a Friday there was a DJ who came on around maybe 11. TIP: If you're staying in the ski village, the bus will drop you across the street from the restaurant. read more

Came in for dinner during NYE weekend. I recommend a reservation during the holiday week, but nonetheless we wound up at the bar which was totally fine. We got great service! The bar list is quite good with lots of beers and wines to choose from. We loved our boar meatballs with homemade gnocchi.The daily pasta was very good as it comes from a local spot that we also ate at, Mille Pates that serves up excellent pasta dishes as well. Thier maple syrup cake in a can was one of the top 5 things I've ever eaten. The trouble is, I only got two bites because my kid and wife felt the same way! So there are excellent cooks here. The only downside was the consistency. My duck was excellent, my wife's dinner was unmemorable, my wife's cream brule trio was only ok, and my son's fillet mignon was likely the worst I've ever had: a lack of marbling made it dry and tasteless compared to the fillets we get in the U.S. at Costco for 1/4 the price (but maybe that's a U.S. vs Canada thing?). I was attended very nicely here, and despite it being late during a slow night, I didn't feel unwelcome or that my service suffered for it. The restaurant itself has a very nice interior that's both cozy and modern. Food was great! I had the braised beef with peppercorn sauce and fries, which was all cooked perfectly. Not a bit of that dish went to waste. I was also recommended a kind of creme brulee sampler platter as a dessert by my waitress, and it was fantastic in terms of flavor, if a little on the cooler side for what I usually experience with cremee brulee. The removal of one star is entirely based on my assessment that the prices at this restaurant seemed disproportionately high, compared to other places in the area that are the same level of quality. Still, if that's not an issue for you, Saint-Georges is an excellent place to spend an evening. read more

Surprising place to say the least. Actually ended up in it spontaneously after meeting our friends on the mountain decided to go since this was the only place to take a reservation on short notice. The food was awesome. I usually don't expect the quality of food like this at a Bar but this place really shines. Steaks perfectly done, fish to die for and kid dishes that kids actually love. Was there Jan 2017 during a ski trip and we had fun. Draft beer was really good with fresh taste. The service was amazing. When we arrived, we wanted to check out the spot before deciding to stay, we told the waitress that the place had a cool vibe but she warned us that when the hockey game starts they will switch the sound to the game (I think at the moment there was like a world championship hockey, not a true follower so I don't remember). Anyways we were having so many drinks and having fun, very good music, at some point Bob Marley was jamming, took us back to good memories. When the game started, they switched the sound to the game, one of the girls on the table said loudly "ohhh nooo", guys at the counter laughed, they seemed like regular clients and told the waitress to keep the music saying "it's not a Habs game so no worries" and they kept playing music, so great service. After so many drinks, I had a jarret d'agneau. For a place like that, I was expecting better quality, it seemed like reheated food and believe me, jarret d'agneau is a dish I usually order (check my other reviews). So that's my bad saying about this place, food is not at the level to what the place looks. Nevertheless, great beer, cool music, and excellent service. read more

4.5 stars Le Steak frites- $28 delicious steak ordered medium-rare and was a touch over cooked. But it was juicy, tender and flavorful with the au jus which was perfect. The fries are thin, could be crispier. Dessert- Maple Pouding Chomeur and vanilla ice cream. Very Sweet but really good. Served warm in a tin (I get the novelty but would prefer it in a regular ceramic). Vanilla ice cream could be creamier less ice crystals. The maple pudding chomeur is a really sweet cake (kinda like an upside down cake, dense and soaked). I think the cream the balances it a bit. I'd eat this Canadian dessert again. read more

We ordered cauliflower soup , trout tartare which was divine, the 14 ounce ribeye steak special, the 10 ounce steak, several desserts. I cannot say steaks were the best we ever had but they were pretty darn good! The desert with puding, maple syrup, and vanilla ice cream served on the maple syrup tin can was specially delicious. My second time visiting Le Grill, came around the same time last year and just as we had a great time last time this year was just as good! We started with charcuterie which was delicious, good selection of meats. Would be nice to have some cheese on the try as well. Then we moved on to dinner My wife had the duck confit which we shared and I had the wild bore meat balls. Both meals were filling and delicious. The beer options are always good with a selection of domestic and craft beer. Our favorites are always the seasonal beers. Went for dinner with my wife and sons on a recent ski vacation. We got there on Friday night without reservations, so we got a table on the pub side. It was just the right thing. The food was surprisingly good. We had a pork cheek appetizer which was excellent, and our entrees were trout, a burger for one son, a streak for the other, and my wife had the duck confit. The duck was outstanding. There is a weird thing to keep in mind in Quebec - you can only get burgers well-done. You can get steak to your choice of temp, and you see beef tartar all over the place. Burger? Well-done. Service was ok, it was pretty busy but our waiter forgot a few things. He made up for it by giving us a couple free beers so it was all good. Overall, very good. This restaurant was just as good as last year. My husband and I came back here the same time last year and ate here again. We arrived at 4:30 because we drove from Bowmansville on the bike, a 5 and a half hour ride. We both had the seasonal saisons. These were the best beers we've had all summer. We started with the charcuterie because we couldn't get dinner until 5. The platter was delicious. The grilled buttery bread with the rich rabbit and grainy mustard was heaven. The caramelized onions with the smoky meat was salty and delicious. This appetizer paired so well with the light beers. For our dinner, I split the duck and salad with my husband. He had the gnocchi and boar meatballs. The duck was so juicy and seasoned perfectly. I didn't even need the knife. The veggies were even cooked and seasoned well. I loved seeing the romanesco broccoli. My husband's gnocchi were perfectly cooked and the meatiness of the meatball complimented the delicate sauce. It was really well done. There was confusion and supposedly it was pike.... anyways, it seemed like salmon, it certainly wasn't trout The steak had no seasoning or flavor. Very disappointing. The fries were mediocre. Great food, great service! Our party of four for dinner had the steak, the pork chop, and a chicken Caesar salad. All were outstanding, but of course there isn't much to making a good salad. This place really showed their talent on the two meat dishes. The steak was done perfectly and was fork-cut tender. The pork was also exceptional, and there were only empty plates when all was said and done. The prices were a bit on the high side, but the quality was there to back it up and the service was outstanding. Definitely a place you should visit while in Tremblant. read more
