My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started off with a pepperoni pizza as our appetizer, which was really good. The other local pizza joints in the village suck compared to here. We were impressed; the dough and pepperoni were on point. I also got the Cesar salad, which tasted good nothing out of the ordinary. My wife and I both ordered the Penne Gigi and added shrimp. It was so good; we both loved it. Probably one of my favorite pasta dishes I have had in a long time. I am huge Italian food lover, and they pulled it off surprisingly. We are here on vacation and we're craving Italian food. This restaurant had by far the best selection of pastas. While our food was good tasting it was room temperature, which was not enjoyable. Our server was also not the most attentive. It took over 15 minutes to get our bill after he cleared out plates away. If the food was as hot I would overlook the other stuff. read more

Much needed meal after a long day of skiing and a long drive ahead back home. Luckily, we had arrived before the ski lifts closed as I'm sure this place would be packed around dinner time. A Mano is located right in the village on the South Side and has 2 levels of seating. We were able to get seating upstairs without waiting. They have your typical selection of Italian offerings from pasta, pizza, soups and appetizers. I opted for the Linguine Pescatore ($36) which included clams, mussels, scallops, shrimps in a smoked fish stock. Usually with seafood linguines you get a really rich cream sauce but this sauce was rather different and a welcome surprise. Super rich as well, while also being not too oily. I would've like the portions to be a tad more as I left still feeling a bit hungry. The scallops and shrimps were quite nice and cooked well but the clams and mussels were just alright, nothing special there. For being so convenient right in the resort village it was a nice meal but they do a 3% upcharge for "Tremblant Resort Association charge". read more

This is exactly what we were looking for! A Mano Trattoria had such a wonderful vibe, from the moment we walked up, we were greeted with warm smiles and cheerfulness. Inside was big (two levels plus outside), organized, lovely atmosphere and clean. You can see and feel the staff's lively enthusiasm! The washroom was pretty nice and clean as well. Our pizzas were perfectly splendid! The sauce reminded me of the pizza in Venice. The veggies were superb (artichokes, eggplant and tomatoes). I dipped my pizza with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and a bit of their chili oil, and wow! So good! We then got a complimentary tiramisu for my daughter's birthday which was divine! We made a reservation because the hotel we were staying at has A Mano recommended on their website but it is not up to par - should have given more weight to the mediocre reviews here. First, it was very rushed, seemed like food was all pre prepped. The burrata appetizer came out immediately after we ordered it. It was fine, they had some flaked sea salt which was a nicer touch but the burrata was just ok, like one would get at a supermarket. The squid ink alle vongole ok but the spaghetti and meatballs dish lacked flavor. Overall it's rather overpriced for what it is. Lastly, the check was not for our table when the waiter came over with the credit card machine before we had a chance to review the bill - had to deal with a manager reversing the transaction who offered no apologies. Overpriced for Italian food but that's how expensive it is in the area. Pizzas were good the pastas were good but the fettuccine alla vodka was lacking in flavour. Service wasn't that great we were told 5-10 min wait but ended up being an hour. The waiter was efficient and we didn't wait long for our food. It's not the best Italian restaurant but it's still good. The ambiance is loud and the second floor gets hot really fast. It was promising location and I was hopeful for a memorable experience on our first Canadian ski trip. Price and expectations were high, as one expects to get what one pays for. Waiter was restricted on accommodating simple requests (ie cutting a pizza into 8 slices vs the 4 it came with was a challenge, the Osso Boco was served at room temperature- I'd expect the kitchen not to serve a plate like that and plate portions were more suited for children's portions than a main course. We were able to get right in with a party of 8 which was great! Cool atmosphere, we ordered the mid level Chianti which was fantastic! Most of us had pizza which was good, nothing special. We also got the carbonara which was not good. Bland and flavorless. This was the third restaurant we went to in the village, and by far the best! The food was outstanding, and the Napoli Pizza authentic. Our waitress Elise was charming and helpful. Worse pasta I've ever tasted. I ordered Bucattini. The cook on the pasta was inconsistent (some was under done and the rest was done right). The sauce tasted sour. The waiter offered to give me a new one which at that point, I had lost my appetite. My friends had the manicotti and lasagna and they were satisfied with the taste. We requested dinner rolls (in French and English in case there was a language barrier) and the waiter just laughed and walked away. Overall the service was slow. We had to ask for drinks to be refilled while some tables were being given preferential treatment. Arrived in the earlier side - about 4:45pm and was seated right away. Their bar, immediately upon arrival, show's you that they offer great cocktails with a wide range of good alcohol. The staff was friendly and quick. Appetizers came out fast, we got the sausage and it was so good. It was cut up and within tomato sauce and veggies and was delicious! Cesar salad was heavy on the dressing so ask for light dressing if you prefer. My youngest (10) got the petite cheese pizza - gobbled it up. My oldest (13) got the spaghetti and veal meatballs- demolished it. I got the margarita pizza- delicious, just wish it had more basil. It only have one leaf in the center. Husband got the fish of the day, which was flounder, and enjoy it. I had a cosmopolitan- twice because it was so good. Service was TERRIBLE. So many mistakes were made: order a nice bottle of wine and arrived at the same time as appetizers, our main courses were never punched in and we waited over an hour from the time we finished our appetizers to get our main courses, and on top of it, they gave us someone else's bill just telling us it is ok because it is the same price (the fact is they gave our bill to another table and they paid it), waited another half hour for them to sort out the bill. At no point did the manager came to us and acknowledged the situation And I know she knows because she was back and forth with our waiter trying to figure it out and I even saw her looking in the trash for our bill. At the end we had to ask to see her to see if she would do something for us. And no, she even tried to denied the situation. She only took off the bill the coke my kids had.
