Restaurant Mille Pâtes is an absolute gem. The décor is charming and cozy, the service is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the food is nothing short of incredible. There were five of us dining, and we ended up ordering seven entrées because everything sounded too good to pass up. Even more telling--one person in our group isn't a pasta fan at all and was completely blown away and finished every last bite. Do not skip dessert. The crème brûlée was perfectly done, and the world-famous tiramisu absolutely lives up to the hype. The food at Mille Pattes was truly flavorful, and the staff were absolutely amazing despite being clearly under a lot of pressure, they remained kind, smiling, and had a great attitude throughout our visit. That said, the reservation system seems to make things a bit difficult for them. Even though we had a reservation and arrived right on time, we still had to wait for our table. The staff were rushing around trying to get people to pay and clear tables quickly, and we weren't the only ones waiting. Others seemed a bit upset too. The entrance area is very small and also right next to where the kitchen is and staff comes out with the dishes, so it felt a bit chaotic and cramped while waiting. Despite that, once seated, the food and service made up for it. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. This was my favorite meal during my trip to Mont Tremblant this year. It felt less touristy than the other restaurants we went to. It has a nice local ambience with a festive vibe. Easily in the top 5 best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! And this is coming from someone who has spent a fair amount of time eating Italian in New York City, including Little Italy. Everything is made fresh on site, including the pasta. Food is incredibly tasty. This is a small mom n pop restaurant and I highly recommend reservations. Cozy on the inside and I loved that the heater was near the coat rack so my coat was nice and warm after our meal. Service is a bit slow, feels like they have a few too many tables in the building to have enough wait staff to handle the volume, but for food this good they could pinch me in the face after my meal and I would come back the next night. Great service and homemade pasta. When you walk in to the restaurant you can see a selection of pastas they make in-store. I usually sit by the cashier. You're met with friendly service to seat you, and if you come during the day, they will offer you a day menu which is super affordable. I recommend coming here during the day for that reason. The only thing about the lunch is that they end pretty early and when you come by at 4 you'll have to wait for the dinner menu at 5. For the day menu, they have a pretty small selection of pastas but they pretty much have something for everyone (they have seafood options, vegetarian, meat, etc). Dinner menu is more extensive and would have more options for those with dietary restrictions. My husband and I particularly like the leek and potato soup that they offer during the day. We went here a couple of times and are always comforted at how cute and quaint the town is. The owner and staff always recognized us whenever we come by and it's nice that they notice their customers. All in all, great little gem near Mt. Tremblant, and would come again! read more

We had ordered from the special board and both turned out well Giant raviolis with seared foie gras - the sauce was amazing and the raviolis is delicious. Pulled pork (local organic pork) and rotini. Very flavorful and al dente. My 5 yrs old was like I want pizza and not pasta. But he ate all pasta on his plate. :-) Tiramisu was very fresh as well and creamy. Great little Italian restaurant! Even though the menu is not extensive, they more than made up for it by serving home-made fresh pasta! One can really taste the difference. We dined here last night. Might eat here the rest of the we week! Our server Julie, made some helpful suggestions and we all enjoyed a wonderful evening out. The oso buco was flavorful but the lemon tagliatelle accompaniment was amazing. My wife had the halibut but the pearl pasta side was special. Our table also had pasta Gigi and chicken Alfredo but I didn't sample those though I'm told they too were delicious. The risotto appetizer and cauliflower cream soup were both worth the extra calories. A bottle of Tempranillo-Syrah was a nice choice and while we enjoyed three different desserts, the lime ricotta was the table favorite. Mille Pates was our second group dinner in Mont Tremblant. A sucker for pasta, I was immediately taken with all of the pastas and sauces available for carryout by the door. This would be a good option if you're looking to dine in, but don't want to cook from scratch. We started out with a few bottles of wine and a few appetizers - the lobster appetizer, Caesar salad, and one other item I didn't eat (I'm a pecatarian). A word of warning for the non-meat eaters, the Caesar salad comes with bacon, but they are happy to put it on the side. One person in our party had a nut allergy and they were great about ensuring we knew what items had nuts. The menu is good, but the standouts are the specials; they also had a special menu for Christmas week. Two people at the table ordered the wild boar ravioli with the seared foie gras on top. I forget our other diner got. I ordered the linguine with shrimp and mussels; the dish was quite good, but I felt like the sauce was a bit on the dry side. For dessert, we ordered two items - the lava cake and the cheese item off of the special menu. I had a bite of the cake and it was good and the cheese was excellent. The restaurant has a casual vibe. No nonsense fresh, basic ingredients is what makes a good Italian dinner. We split the osso bucco served over fettuccine- tender meat and a light tomato sauce, the freshness of the ingredients came through. Did I mention fresh baked bread?!?
