You have to really love churros to make a trip to this place. They have several different options such as apple pie, Nutella &banana, strawberry cheesecake, and thres leche. You can add 2 scoops of ice cream to any one. They come in different sizes. In my opinion even a small can be shared between two people. They have a few selections of cake and sundaes as well. It is a food truck, located in the parking lot of "el Bucanero". There are no seating options available.

We found a winner of a meal for Dad @elbucanerosanantoniotx and churros with @lamejicobakery after. Dad loves oysters so we had a dozen for a value deal of $15! We got a medium plate of ceviche en salsa de mango which was plenty for 3 of us. My Dad had the pina agua fresca, my husband had the Blueberry mojito and I had the Bahama Mama. They do not skimp on the alcohol! Dad and I shared the fish and fries, which was very fresh. My husband had the tacos de pescado and shrimp empanada. Lots of tasty treats and extra food to take home. Conveniently in the parking lot is @lamejicobakery. Dad couldn't pass up churros so we bought 6 of them and had the chocolate, strawberry and cajeta sauces! Yum! We'll sure be back again!

Friendly folks at this food truck and delicious desserts being served up. There are so many choices and the two I usually get are the marrinitos and the chocolate tres leches. The marrinitos are small and bite sized and go really well with morning coffee. Plus the fact that they're small keeps me in check as far as overeating is concerned. I will say though they come in packs of 24 and at about 9 bucks for each pack, they also keep me in check in regards to buying more than I should. The cookies also hold their flavor and moistness well so I don't have to worry that a week has gone by and whether or not they'll keep. The servings are shareable and also have a lot of great flavor. The only downside is the parking area since it's stationed at the 2nd El Bucanero location on Blanco. It can be challenging to figure out where to park even if you're just trying to buy from La Mejico. If you're two people coming in, one can stay in the car while the other goes up to order. Just a suggestion though. :)

Churros made by a gringo, looks great!

Stopped by here as its set up here next to the El Bucanero seafood restaurant. Wife wanted some churros, fried cinnamon and sugar flour treat, they are not the same as in Mexici, but its probably the best you will find in Texas? Not bad at all.

Worth the stop for the Tres Leches cake, both the vanilla and chocolate are outstanding. Friendly staff.

The atmosphere is light-hearted, the art is inspiring, and the service is out of this world. Everyone there is concerned that I have a good time and enjoy good food. And I do. Every time. And then there is my father. He has a small appetite (I mean tiny) and always gets the Baby Benjie's burger, which is lovely, but he can only eat half and then complains he can get Burger King at a fraction of the cost. So you know who's not invited to lunch next time. The burgers are in absolutely no way comparable. The brioche bun alone blows BK out of contention. Perhaps I'll go halfsies with him on one of the delectable sandwiches available and he can see what he is missing. Love you, Bennie's Munch!

The lentil soup that came with the dishes was so good, had a kick, but nothing I couldn't handle. I will be coming back to try more for sure. I had high hopes b/c the high rating and ordered the original gyro based on the recommendation. When I got my O.G., I wasn't OMG'd at all. Although I am not an expert on moroccan food, my taste buds are experts on food in general. The second time, my friend ordered the Chicka Chicka Bang Bang and offered me some to try. I liked the name Chicka Chicka Bang Bang and thought I was going to do a bang bang dance after putting the Chicka Chicka in my mouth. But again I thought it was A-OK. Apparently my friend was pretty unhappy about what she was eating (that's probably why she offered it to me, J/K). She said one of her close friends is moroccan and she has tasted much better moroccan food than this. All right then, guess it wasn't just me. So, the ultimate question: will I return? Probably not given that another truck at the Alamo Street Eat Bar is my favorite.

In search of something new, I found Wheelie Gourmet's Moroccan-inspired fare. After going over the menu, I asked for the Kefta which was labeled as a "Moroccan Burger." The Chef asked if I wanted to add the special, Candied Bacon. "Of course, I want Candied Bacon!" A few minutes later, this stunner was put in front of me. I took a minute to appreciate it, the warm pita bread, the seasoned meat with a hint of sauce, fresh spinach leaves and oh, yes, emmin-effin candied bacon. The next few seconds were a blur of tastiness, followed by awesomeness and rounded out with fullness. Will be back. Soon.
