    2020 JAYCO 37HJ

Giving 5 stars only because 6 is not an option. In our lives we have owned many RV's and dealt with many dealerships and not all experiences have been equal. We have bought from LaMesa twice now and both of these transactions have been extremely smooth, very fair and a pleasure. Big shout out to John Hartley, AJ, Leslie, Carlos and let's not forget Zach. Each of these people, as well as others, were extremely knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. We feel like we have a dealer for life even though it's 1,100 miles from home. We love our new (to us) JAYCO Seneca 37HJ. Once again thank you to all at LaMesa Tucson!!

NOPE. Service STINKS. The service advisor, Stephanie Johnson, was very nice, but the place is so…read morechaotic, it doesn't surprise me that she and her leads undoubtedly have difficulties managing their service techs, ensuring they do a proper and professional job. I've never seen a garage so incredibly and embarrassingly messy with parts, tools, and junk strewn all over the place. The higher-ups should be ashamed and motivated to get their facility cleaned up and organized, but it seems they really don't care. I had my 5er in for warranty and insurance repairs. While there, I made the mistake of having them do a multi-point check on all the appliances, slide-outs, vents, fans, lights, etc... basically all the moving parts. When we finally had it delivered to our destination (we have a service move our rig as we opted not to buy a giant truck), the roof vent/fan didn't work. A ceiling light that was out before we brought it in, still wasn't working. Waste of money. Bad decision on my part. After they did the insurance repairs to the back end of the trailer, they installed the shore cord socket in a cock-eyed position. They mounted it so that when I attempted to plug in our shore cord, the cord wasn't able to hang straight down as it's designed to do. I had to remove the socket myself and remount it by spinning it into the proper position. Not a big deal for me, but what moron doesn't take the 3 seconds to ensure a proper re-install? No-Nothing Flunkies. The worst thing was, when the rig was delivered to our destination, several hundred miles away, before they closed everything up, a plastic tray had come loose in the main room and got wedged in-between the kitchen island and the adjacent slide-out. The tray was smashed and the broken pieces were pushed along the floor by the incoming slide-out, ripping a huge gash in the flooring - approximately 1 square foot area. They didn't bother to make sure the areas in which the slide-outs were to come in, were clear of any debris or objects that could cause damage or impede the movement of the slide. I'm sure the plastic tray made a loud cracking sound that alerted the tech to the problem while moving the slide-out in, but no, they obviously heard it, saw what it did and looked the other way. Pathetic. Never again will we use this poorly managed and calamitous "repair" facility.

For those who may be experiencing peeling and degradation of the nose cap on your RV (in our case…read moreon a 5th wheel), here is a strong recommendation. The 1st 2 pics are the "before". The nose cap (especially at the top) and the decal were seriously degraded. Looked like the cap had eczema, and the front decal had all sorts of cracks. A couple of Mobile RV techs gave me a referral to a company (here in Tucson). The 3rd pic is the finished product. Big, big difference! The company I had do the work is called: Artistic Elegance, 3577 E Golf Links Rd, Tucson, AZ 85713. tel: 520-237-7985 The owner's name is Kent - great guy. https://artistic-elegance.com/ I took the rig in on Monday, and had it back Friday morning. As part of the prep work, they also repaired some fiberglass damage at the bottom (cracking and some good size stone chips). While most places can do this type of work, for me the big plus was their attention to detail. For example, they designed the swooshes, and painted them in dark reddish brown colour, and did it as a subtle metal flake paint that they faded from the middle of the swooshes to the bottom. As you change your viewing angle, there is a subtle change in the way the paint looks. Another example of their attention to detail, is they adjusted the clearance of the hitch box, so that the air bag hose would not rub against the bottom of the nose cap. A small detail, but they did it as part of their work. The background colour matches the colour of the gel coat on the rest of the rig. I can't say enough good things about these guys. It really is wonderful to find someone who takes pride in their workmanship! Not a common characteristic of RV manufacturing.

To put it simply, Artistic Elegance work magic. I had a vintage 1960s set of four fiberglass patio…read morechairs that I bought with all sorts of cracks, fading and damage from wear and tear throughout the years with the goal of restoring them, but honestly I thought it was a bit of a pipe dream. I finally decided to take on trying to restore them and did research on who would be the best to do it. I expected not to get a lot of interest to do the project, and if I did, not to have much input on the process. When I found Artistic Elegance, I immediately knew that these were the guys to do the job. Their past work on all sorts of fiberglass projects, whether that's ATVs, golf carts or RVs, look phenomenal. I contacted them with the job description and Kent immediately responded and wanted to work on them with me. One of the obstacles was that I don't have a truck and couldn't get them over, but Kent worked with me and was able to pick them up and deliver them, which saved me a huge hassle! One of the most impressive aspects of the job is that I have two other fiberglass patio furniture pieces that had already been restored with a paint color I did not know 100%. I was just going to be happy if we got close, but Kent and another great guy at the shop, Joel, truly went above and beyond to match the paint to ensure it all would look good. Thanks to them sticking with it, we were able to get a 100% match! I thought the project would take weeks if not a few months to get done since it was smaller, but they had all four chairs and a lounger I sprung on them at the last second done within two weeks. When it comes to repair or restoration, Artistic Elegance is simply the best I've ever dealt with in the business. They are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, honest, reasonable and most importantly produce beautiful results! I'm seriously shocked how good these chairs look now - they look brand new, but before I'm sure a lot of people would have sent them to the landfill instead due to their cracking and fading. If you ever need any sort of bodywork, fiberglass work, painting work, etc, done, do not hesitate to use Artistic Elegance. Keith, Joel and everybody at the shop are true professionals!
