Called to place an order for tamales for the 24th and was told I could order but said I wanted to confirm with my family on the meat selection and was told to call before 8. It took me less than hour to call back and they refused to place the order. Also , I speak and understand Spanish and overheard one of the employees say my mom said we were taking the orders until today and then the lady placed me I hold and came back said no. Be careful with the weights of your items and overpricing. My poor husband went to purchase supplies for tamales. We only used half, and I decided to return unused, unopened items, as I saw they were I credibly overpriced. The tamal corn husks were $7 for one pound! The clerk proceeded to weigh the package and asked if I had used any, because the package only weighed 1/2 a pound exactly. I didn't of course, and I was extra upset that now we had paid $7 for only half a pound. So they only refunded $4 for that, and she said it was so expensive because it was a "better" quality husk. Just be careful with weights and measures of your items to be purchased here. read more

We ordered food to go. Our first visit did not disappoint! Our family tried out the carne asada super quesadilla, the potato taco, a carne asada taco, and flautas(sp?). We also picked up some guacamole and chips and salsa to go with everyone's dinner. It was SO good! Excellent flavor! The burritos are good size and fresh. One small complaint, I always ask for LIGHT onion and it does state that on the bag of my burrito but more often than not, it is completely LOADED.
