I ordered the steak fajitas with shrimp, and the plate looked nothing like the picture. Instead of nicely sliced strips of steak, I received very large chunks of steak that were difficult to eat and honestly felt like a choking hazard. The meat also had more fat than actual meat, and both the steak and shrimp lacked flavor. The chips were stale, the salsa was extremely watery, and both the horchata and jamaica tasted watered down. We also ordered caldo de res, and the broth was so clear and flavorless that it practically looked like water. Even the quesadilla wasn't prepared properly--the cheese wasn't fully melted. Overall, the food lacked the flavor, quality, and attention to detail that you expect when going out to eat. It felt like the passion and care for the food just wasn't there, almost as though the food was being cooked just to get it out rather than to make something customers would enjoy. I really hope the owner uses feedback like this to improve the quality of the ingredients, seasoning, and preparation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return.
