Must of drove past this truck a few dozen times. My wife and I were looking for a early lunch and there was no line. Perfect. I had a chorizo burrito and my wife ordered a ala mexicana one. Both were rolled tight as not to slop all over. Both were moist and fresh tasting, full of good flavor. The whole beans were welcome instead of potatoes. All said and done a couple of good burritos. Best quesabirria tacos I've ever had in my life!!! Had it with everything. The outside has the perfect amount of oil and crunch on every bite. The meat is super tender and flavorful, and the onions are lightly cooked and not overpowering, which makes it a perfect blend of flavors. Did not need hot sauce at all to enhance the flavors. The console is not heavy or oily, it is light and a bit peppery, first time ever having a consome I enjoyed drinking on top of dipping with. Their hot sauce is okay, not really spicy, compared to tapatio or cholula. Ended up taking a bite out of the jalapeno for spice, but regrets because it was super spicy. Oh and they give cucumbers as sides along with the radishes and jalapeno. It was really refreshing to add in. Pretty interesting combo, never seen cucumber in taco truck sides for tacos before. They give you a lime and some salsa and you can pick what spice level of the salsa you want. They also have coolers of drinks as well. My boyfriend goes every single time he passes it on his way to and from his school town and he decided to take me one day. You would think this spot is good, based on all the people i saw ordering from here. I usually stop at the Arco gas station and always see this truck there. Since I didn't want any of the fast food around, I decided to try this taco truck instead. I was starving & hadn't eaten since 7 am. that morning (ate here around 3ish pm), so I ordered 5 tacos. They were ALL horrible. I would honestly say these are probably the worst tacos of my life. I ordered 2 quesabirria tacos, 1 cabeza, & 2 al pastor. The meat was all DRY & flavorless. The salsa on the tacos was a salsa roja (red salsa), but it was spicy & lacking any flavor. I should have known better once I tasted how terrible the salsa was. It should have been a red flag for me. But, again, I was starving, so I ate it. On top of that, it's expensive! Also, my MIL ordered 3 shrimp tacos, & they were a joke! 3 little pieces of shrimp on each taco, with a few scraggly pieces of onion & green bell pepper. Would not recommend this taco truck.
