I visited today 12/29/25; Nicely organized and fully stocked! I wanted one of everything! Very clean, and customer service by older lady was top notch. Give her a raise!

After today I must change my review . I witnessed employees not charging gloves after handling money after charging clients . They kept washing their gloves which is against health code. I was disgusted . They handle fruits to put into yogurts and other snack foods! They must use new gloves or properly wash hands. Do not .. I repeated .. do not wash gloves. That's so wrong. Come on now ! Gloves aren't expensive plus you could get people severely sick. You don't wash gloves .. you don't!!!! I stayed there to finish my snack and every single employee, rang someone up and then washed their gloves multiple times. Yes, not wash their hands and then put new gloves on. Nope ! Washed their dirty gloves over and over ..... and over again. One girl rang people and went straight to prepping. I'm sure the owner is aware of this and instructed staff to do this. My visit was on 11.5.23. Please do better. Saving a few cents over customer's health is wrong. I am sad to write this update because I loved this place but with this food handling practice .. i won't be going back.

Tropical Twist in Every Scoop Rating: 5/5 Stars I went with my family and Savored a scoop of mango, guava, strawberry, and pistachio ice cream from Michoacana and it was a flavor explosion! The mango was ripe and tangy, the guava added a tropical sweetness, and the pistachio provided a delightful nutty crunch. Each bite was pure bliss, a must-try for ice cream aficionados! The service and the ambiance was quiet and I could spend time talking and eating in this place with my family.

The lady that is working this night shift 8:19pm March 4th treat my wife very bad, they forgot to put all my toppings in my order and she was telling my wife that she was super busy to talk about it, wtf?

DELIGHTFUL MEXICAN STYLE ICE CREAM!!! I NEVER knew this style of ice cream could be SO GOOD!! We didn't have this option for ice cream growing up in Oxnard way back when, just Baskin-Robbins, Thrifty's and the local ice cream trucks! So when these Mexican ice cream shops started popping up around here these last few years, it certainly created some curiosity as to the reason. Being mostly on a keto diet held me back tho, but not today! Ice cream is kinda my jam, and if not in full keto mode, definitely indulging on some chilly sensations. Sooo... Let's DO THIS! Walked in and were immediately met with a friendly greeting. Very clean interior, inviting & spacious as well. Ms. Erica was the sweetest! GIVE THAT LASS A RAISE! (definitely keep her around!) Her partner in crime had a bit of trouble with English so Erica took point on us. She readily & pleasantly answered all our curiosities. Offered samples of all the flavors we were interested in. All the ice cream and paletas (ice cream on sticks) are made on premises. REALLY?!? Not even Baskin-Robbins does that! Not sure the difference between Mexican Style ice cream vs. Italian gelato, but the appearance looks similar. As I was driving and because we've never had them, we settled on paletas for the trial run. PALETA: We went with the "buy 8 Milk paletas & get 1 Water paleta free" deal. Flavor choices: COOKIE MONSTER, OREO ENTERO (whole Oreo), PISTACHIO, FRESA (strawberry) con LECHE(milk), FRESA con CREMA (creme), COCONUT, COCO (coconut), GUANABANA (soursop), GUAYABA (guava) con CHILE. Of the flavors we sampled today, my fave... absolutely GUANABANA!! Fresh chunks of guanabana (soursop) ripened perfectly inside with actual seeds mixed in, this thing was BURSTING with flavor with every bite! OMG... So, SO YUM!! Reality of it, is all the fruit & nut options we had were jam packed with its namesake and a truly authentic flavor that just bombarded the palette with delight! The cookie options were wonderfully creamy and filled with cookie goodness . So glad we decided to do something different today :) VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! If you've never dropped this on your taste buds, you, my yelp-amigo, are MISSING OUT! Not sure if it's always this smooth an experience as there have been previous reviews talking about customer service hiccups, but today's lunch time visit was delightful. Definitely will be back to indulge in more of these "HOMEMADE" frosty treats again! Enjoy :)

The esquite from here was some of the best I've ever had. Some places make it way too salty.

To be honest, I prefer their milkshakes over their actual ice cream scoops, but my husband and I wanted to sample a few different flavors. We got the sampler with Spouse Like a House, Strawberry, Graham Central Station, and Banana Cream Pie. Spouse Like a House: 7/10. I loveeeddd the crunchy bits which I believe are chocolate-covered pretzels. It's a solid option if you're looking for something with mix-ins that doesn't feel too overwhelming. Strawberry: 2/10. Unfortunately the strawberry tasted way too artificial; I could not eat it by itself. Had to combine it with other flavors for it to be tolerable :( Graham Central Station: 8/10. Tastes exactly as expected, graham crackers in ice cream form. A perfect "pie crust" flavor to combine with other flavors heheh :) Banana Cream Pie: 7/10. Can't go wrong with this if you love banana cream pie. This + Graham Central are the perfect combination!! Overall, I do wish their ice cream was creamier and more dense. I feel like the flavors dissipate instantly upon tasting because the texture is too airy. Even so, I'm glad a location opened up in Oxnard :)

And let me tell you, when you're heading to an island for kayaking and hiking, securing food starts to feel less like lunch planning and more like wilderness survival strategy. The online ordering process, though, gave my husband a minor technological character-building experience. Not especially intuitive or user friendly. Then, on the morning of the trip, we weren't entirely sure where the lunches would actually appear. Tiny scavenger hunt energy. Thankfully, they were waiting for us at the ferry office, and we both immediately took the same relieved breath: "Excellent. We shall not perish on the island." The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. By the time lunch was over, I was happy, full, and fully prepared for the next round of kayaking and hiking. Which is really the highest compliment an adventure lunch can get.
