Open decently late and prices are reasonable. Came here to fulfill a craving for esquites and Hot Cheetos. We got the: 1) Esquites: -Nice hearty cupful of esquites with generous amount of cotija cheese, mayo, butter, and it had a slight spicy kick to it too. -Def fulfilled our cravings. 2) Tostilocos with Hot Cheetos: -Okay, I'm gonna be completely honest. I'm an idiot and thought Tostilocos were the chips with some cheese and some jalapenos. -I didn't expect to get a HUGE container packed to the brim with toppings. -They give you an INSANE amount of cueritos. Chock full of it. -There were also Japanese peanuts, diced mango, chamoy, etc. Lots of Tajin, lime juice and Valentina sauce. -This really wasn't my thing cuz it was too sour, I don't like the chewy texture of the pig skin, and my Hot Cheetos ended up being too soggy for me to enjoy, but it's my fault for stupidly ordering the wrong thing lmao. -If you like Tostilocos, this is a good order since they give you so much. I'd re-address my mistakes here coming back in the future and def gotta try some of their ice cream since they have so many flavors !

I'm one of those people who are not really into ice creams (disappointing, i know ). Anyway, I eat ice cream once in a blue moon and since my family decided to drop by La Michoacana, I got myself one. Before picking, I was able to get a free taste of some of the flavors I was eyeing. It all tasted exactly as the flavor (some ice creams barely taste like the flavor they are named after). I think it's also because they actually use real fruits to make them. I got a scoop of the Ferrero Rocher flavor. It tasted absolutely great! And they had a very big serving!! I forgot to get the name of the crew who was very helpful and patient with my family. There were 6 of us wanting to try different flavors all at once and she was very kind to us and she seemed very happy to have us around. I'll definitely be back here. I just love the atmosphere and the vibes of the place. Seems like a great place to chill and hangout with your friends and family!

Came on a very busy and hot Saturday! We had to wait in a bit of a line but the staff was very friendly and made everything with great care. We ordered a fresas con crema, mangonadas, and ice cream cones and it was all great. I just wish there was a nicer seating area to enjoy our treats!

The customer service truly deserves a 5+ because the staff is so friendly and informative with all the questions I kept asking the poor things... The shop is very clean and everyone wears their masks and gloves which is so important... Everything is so flavorful and fresh... We love coming here when we are in Chino and it is definitely one of the best La Michocana's around. They always give large scoops that make it worth the price and I love all of the flavor variety and that they're always ready to let you try a sample. Super affordable ice cream with all kinds of amazing flavors? Count me in please! You can get a whole 6oz of ice cream for something like $2.80 here! Perfect for a summer (or fall, since the weather hasn't seemed to get the memo yet...) day! If you want to get a bigger size, a "medium" is 12oz and under $4. Madness. But this is a madness that brings me much joy. They also have all kinds of popsicles, mangonadas, chocolate covered bananas, as well as hot snacks (eg nachos). I can only speak for the ice cream because I was too full after that to eat much else. The staff was incredibly patient with us as we were trying to decide on a flavor. I ended up choosing the passionfruit because I've never seen that anywhere. I'm so happy that this place exists!!

I've been craving this place for some time, and it's the perfect thing for a warm day! It was my first time getting their elote cup or esquites and it was very good, I got the smallest size and it was more than enough. I also got a mangonada (small) end I could only finish half, but you better believe that I'm going to eat it tomorrow When we walked in today, we were met with friendly staff (wearing masks) and the lady who helped us was very nice! I've been to other locations in the past and I would have to say these ladies were the nicest. The reasons I won't give 5 stars would have to be overall cleanliness and the fact that there was no type of seating available. With all of that being said, I love this chain and will continue to return! I love all of the variety on the menus, and the flavors are always unique and delicious! If you're in the mood for something fresh on a hot day, please give this place a try!

First time coming here. These people are racist towards Asians. I waited for fifteen minutes and all of them dismissed me as a customer. They took the orders of the other two families that came after me. The two employees even greeted the other families but not me. If I could give this place no stars I would. This place is so good! The mango+chamoy paleta is my favorite, their cookies and cream paleta is delicious, and I really love their savory snacks too. However...I'm really disappointed by the "Karens" who have left negative reviews, especially the one who mentioned the workers that in her opinion, need to speak English. What an ignorant comment to make! I know the culture in Chino is not very traditional "raza" (I mean, it's next to impossible to get a decent street taco around here), but you'd think even these non-Spanish speaking third or fourth generation Latinos could get it together to support some hard working folks. Anyway, the food here is good and if the prices are "too expensive" or you want to speak to someone in English, just stay home. Easy peasy. Otherwise La Michoacana is the perfect place to come for al your antojitos. read more

Yummy Yummy get in my Tummy. Me and my kids love this place. They make everything the way you want it without hesitation, attitude, or eye rolls etc...!! LOL Fruit is always super fresh and sweet and they give huge portions; our favorites are the Tostilocos, and the mazapán and bubble gum ice cream. Their agua de pepino y limon with chia is so good too and very refreshing. read more

Everything looks amazing! Customer service was great & the ice cream is bomb! Ordered two mangonadas and they taste bomb! Plenty to choose from on the menu. If you go to this location, you better know what you want. The employees just stand there and don't understand the concept of waiting patiently because it's your job. And if a young lady is helping you, you best believe your not getting real customer service. I always leave annoyed from the interact with the workers. read more

This is my favorite La Michoacana to go to. It's big and spacious with nice staff and tables to sit down and enjoy your goodies. They are also very generous with their servings, which makes me keep coming back for more. The fruits for their bionico is also fresh (and covered for freshness). The place is clean too, which is always a plus. Everything just tastes better at this location. For instance, their sandia ice cream is more of a sorbet icy texture than super creamy and thick. Very delicious! read more

This place is amazing, the staff especially. I come here literally 2-3 times a week. If you want corn, or takis with cheese, or even fresas con crema they have it amongst other things. Best ice cream parlor and highly recommend by me. Come on In and say hi to the manager he's is always helping and wears a hat and glasses, he's really nice and always says hi. read more

I know there is many Michoacanas now. But this one in particular is incomparable. Everything taste amazing, fresh and overall the best. Their costumer service is also amazing, always smiling and they are always glad to explain the menu/flavors without hesitation. I would drive further to this one specifically, even if there was another Michoacan next door to my home. Highly recommended! read more

Amazing desserts and munchies for a low price. The mangonadas are a must, so are the 40+ different types of ice cream they have. Their original flavors such as Horchata and Ron con Pasas are a must! Below is a picture of the famous Mexican snack "Tostilocos" and esquites, which are corn in a cup with cheese, lime, butter, chili powder, and mayo. So delicious! read more

Love love love this place! Everything is always on point! From the Michoacanas in the area this one is truly the best one. The staff is always friendly and the treats never disappoint! The esquite is actual corn not from a can! The tostilocos can be customized. I'm not a fan of cueritos so I sub in pepinos or mango. Pure heaven! read more

They have so many items on the menu it was really hard not to buy all the paletas. You can get samples of the scooped ice cream. The have milk or water based ice cream. They have bionico, strawberry and cream, single double or triple scoop. They have agua Fresca. Chips with a bunch of toppings. read more

Fantastic! But not for diabetics! I'm prediabetic and I can't have much! I had the cajeta ice cream and nearly fainted! It was so good! I also got original strawberry cheesecake as my double scoop. I haven't tried anything else, but hope to soon. read more

I will start with it's a little expensive, but so worth it. They are always very nice no matter what time of day and even have some cool deals when you go in late. The agua fresa/fresa de leche or how ever they want to label it is by far my favorite. I need to have at least one grande each week if not more! The TostiLocos are bomb and they load that mother up with a huge portion. Love this place!!! read more

I've been coming here a couple times now and everything is so good from their raspados to their ice cream to their fresas con crema I mean everything is really good! This is the only La Michacana I go to in the area.. The place is always clean and the staff are very friendly.. When it's very busy they try to help you as quick as possible.. The girls always greet you with a smile and ask what they can help you with today.. Most of the time I get a Mangonada and I'm satisfied with how good it is.. I typically love eating at La Michoacana but unfortunately tonight I went in and got corn in a cup and there was a bug in it and when I went back to let them know, they told me there's nothin they could do and it probably just fell in but it was in the middle of the cup. Place is great, but definitely do not order through Uber eats or DoorDash or any delivery service because they do not package your things correctly.

My favorite is getting the dole whip twist! The service is usually friendly and quick as well. The only negative experienced I had was during my most recent visit. An employee was taking our order and helping us at checkout, her male coworker chose that moment to point out that she had put something back wrong. There is a time and place for that type of conversation, and I don't think it should happen in front of customers. The café also has free Wi-Fi, a few outlets, and a clean, spacious restroom. One thing I appreciated was that the staff seemed to care about maintaining a comfortable environment. A child near my table was having a tantrum, and an employee politely asked the parents to take the child outside until things had calmed down. Since many customers were there to work or study, I thought that was handled well. The girl who took my order was also incredibly kind. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but her smile was contagious and genuinely brightened my day. Food: My table ordered the tiramisu latte and the ube latte. The tiramisu latte was delicious, and I'd definitely recommend it. The ube latte had a stronger flavor profile, so if you enjoy a bold ube and coffee taste, you'll probably like it as well. Overall, I had a great experience at Dirty Penguin Coffee. There's plenty of parking outside, which is always a nice bonus, and I'd happily come back to work or grab a coffee again.

Bring Card or Contactless Payment. Also, be wary of the sugar levels if sensitive. I selected 30% sugar, and it still fired a welcomed, punchy sugary taste.) I arrived at Chun Yang Tea (Chino) on Tuesday (around 3:21PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE! Chun Yang Tea (Chino) is a stall in the Eat Up Food Court inside the 99 Ranch Store. Customers primarily order at the self-service kiosk. Customers can also order at the counter, but Staff speaks limited English. Staff is very hardworking and professional. My drink took about one minute. FAST!! As mentioned, I absolutely adored the Osmanthus Honey Oolong Tea ($5.99 - 30% Sugar - Quarter Ice). I had to hold back the instinct to cry tears of joy. The tea flavor is prominent, fresh, and not burnt. The liquid is honey-like, thirst-quenching, and refreshing. I absolutely LOVE this drink. I had to immediately fight back the urge to purchase another. On ambiance, Chun Yang Tea (Chino) surprised me. It's located in a foodcourt, but the location felt clean, well-ventilated, and useful. I saw several flat screen TVs playing the baseball game with English captions. Upbeat, playful music chimed. And there's a Gender Neutral restroom several feet away. In addition, the location is spacious. There's over seven nearby tables. And there's two available electrical outlets nearby the stall. However, if I had to nitpick, there's a very faint scent of the Asian grocery store in the background. It's very faint, but it's noticeable. Parking is easy since it's in a large plaza for grocery store patrons. Instead of walking through the 99 ranch store entrance, I used their food hall door. I walked right inside and noticed they had 5 other food areas, though I don't recall any of them besides the bar. I walked up to the boba shop and there wasn't a cashier, only a kiosk. The bobarista was actually enjoying his meal. He quickly got up to assist me and my order. As I stood around, I watched him make my drink while looking at the decor. He made my drink fairly quickly and I was able to drink it while going grocery shopping. The green tea is decent and the boba had a good chewy consistency and size. The purple rice was very interesting and unique! It was my first time having a topping like it and it's exactly what it sounds like: rice in milk tea. Overall a decent boba spot. I need to come back to try other drinks. Nothing makes it memorable for me just yet, but I'm willing to come back to try it again!

I visit this plaza often due to Sam's Club, but rarely drive in the plaza towards Kohls so I was surprised when my friend told me the other week. I needed to head to both Kohls and Sam's Club for errands and stopped by H Mart to grab a few items. I am spoiled by the H Mart in Diamond Bar (DB), so I was expecting something along the same lines but it was a bit different in this location. It is cleaner but some of the produce and fruit were not as fresh as the DB location. Also, there was an entire fridge aisle of alcohol drinks! That sure was a sight to see, since I do not ever recall seeing that in the DB location, or at least not that close to the entrance, let alone across from the produce and fruit. We did see a worker throwing out prepared food, so they must be clearing out already prepared food halfway through the day or something because we were surprised as it was still early afternoon. We do not recommend purchasing the prepped sweet potato here as they are dry and hard, not as fresh as the DB location. We were able to find what we needed and were on our way. The lines to the cashier are very short so it is convenient, as compared to the lines at the DB location, along with the always busy parking lot. This location is a bit smaller than others and also a bit pricier, probably due to the location. Overall, it is convenient if one is in the area and need a few items, but this would not be my main H Mart to shop at.
