I've been here more than a few times before to quench my craving for fruit. It sits next to Superior Market off of Gary Ave and Foothill in Pomona. It's clean and staff are always friendly. They have just about every type of fruit, it's fresh and crisp and it's always made to order. I always go for the basic lime and Tajin topper but if your into Bionico's they serve that up too. They also offer Mexican frozen fruit bars which my little monsters love as well as fruit drinks. Great way to fill your party trays at home or for picnics. Face it, michachocana doesn't have best raspados. Usually get diablito, below average but no other options around La Verne north Pomona. Annoying that they have the worst ice machine that doesn't breakdown ice properly, so instead you are getting large chucks of ice. Done w this place. Also, they don't have any spicey powder or chili besides tapatio, which has no business in a raspado. I am not coming back, rather wait to when I go to East La or Boyle heights. You want to support local businesses but they simply don't deliver. Especially for prices. Would expect more authentic raspados. Even cart raspados guys have better. read more

This is a franchise location with several locations in and around Pomona. I was surprised by the quality of the food and portions. This is more than just an ice cream spot. Yes you can find lots of quality paletas (ice cream bars) made from milk or water. They also have ice cream that can be put in a cup or cone if you desire. What really makes this place special is the ability to get churros, corn, and chips with hot sauce and lemon. Yea you can make this at home but what if you're out? I have been coming here since they opened a few months ago. I have tried every flavor ice cream that sounded appealing (about 7 or 8). This is the best ice cream that I have had. They make the ice cream that tastes like the flavor that is described. No artificial taste and you could close your eyes and know what flavor you are eating. The ice cream is not overly sweet and for most of the flavors you can see real bits of the flavor ingredients in the ice cream. I hope this is an understandable explanation. In other words strawberry tastes like strawberry and not the artificial strawberry flavoring. The service and pricing are excellent. I have also tried some of the other treats they have here that are new to me. I have only tried them here so I cannot compare to other places but I have always been satisfied. The people here have been very helpful in explaining what goes in these new to me treats. They also have made suggestions which have worked out well. It is hard to explain what these treats are as I am unfamiliar with them. There are many flavors of ice cream available daily and also many ice cream bars that look yummy. I haven't tried them as most of them are derived from the ice cream. The bars have chucks or whole pieces of the flavor, like there are entire oreo cookies frozen in the oreo bar. I ordered a platter and was able to pick it up in 2 hours. The platter was very reasonably priced and came with a generous amount of fruit. I gave it another go before deciding, this place is not good. They're on the north side so they don't get as busy. Which means their ice cream sits and gets freezer burn. Their ice cream tasted old and had a bunch of bits of ice (from the freezer burn). Their water popsicles are harder than a rock, and taste old as well.
