Good stuff, especially during these hot days! I was roasting away, thinking what sounds good? Too hot to eat, but I needed some nourishment. Not a fan. I got 2 things.. esquite and bionico, I really wish I had taken a photo of the bionico because it wasn't my favorite. The consistency of the crema used was so thin like water and they put so much with an okay amount of fruit. They only had 3 available fruits, which I thought was weird. The esquite was not good at all. They put so much mayo, that I could only taste mayonnaise. I couldn't handle all the mayo so I had to throw away the esquite. Very disappointed with the quality of the food today. Ice cream is old. Tostilocos would have been ok but the jicama was spoiled. Agua de fresa was not good either. Tried to order more things but apparently were out of a lot of things. You can see as you walk in. Paletas were low. Only like three aguas available. The place just in general looks empty. I'm not sure if the ownership has changed but I was there the other day because I was craving some specific and when I asked for it I was told they didn't have everything to put on it and that it would be coming off the menu because I was the only one that had asked for it in a very long time. I asked for an esquire and the corn was old like it had been in the warmer for a very long time or reheated several times my husband asked for nachos and the chips were stale. I went back today and the item I wanted to order last week was still on the menu and they still had the same bag of Duros against the wall? I asked for a paleta de coco and they didn't have any, they didn't have any corn for the corn on a stick and neither did they have corn for esquites, the ice cream and aguas look old too I'm not sure if the new owners are trying to push out the old inventory but we won't be coming back, it's honestly a waste of money. read more

About 20 water based fruit bars and about 20 milk based bars make this a must stop during the hot summer months. I'm so glad I stopped by this dessert shop :) My friend and I had been in Pomona for tacos for dinner but wanted a sweet treat after so we looked up what was near by and La Michoacana popped up! Upon entering, it was a little weird because it was SO BIG and there was so much empty space but it gave up plenty of tables to choose from. The ice cream and popsicle options run along the wall. There are sooo many options. Make sure to walk along the freezer window to check out all the different flavor options. I sampled the coconut and mamey ice cream and REALLY wanted a split scoop of both flavors but the girl said I would have to buy two scoops to get two flavors :( I ended up ordering the Mamey Popsicle and it was very tasty. Their popsicles are very creamy and not icy like the store bought ones. It's like ice cream in popsicle form. My friend ordered the Oreo Popsicle and really liked it too. I found this place on a whim! I came down to the Wal-Mart Supermarket on Towne, and overheard customers talking about it, so I decided to give it a try. They had cases and cases and cases of ice creams and paletas. Mango, oreo, chichle, ferrer rocher, lime, pina colada, tequila, mango chamoy!!! All different types made in-house. Outside wasn't too clean but the inside was pretty clean and well maintained. They also had SO MANY different flavors to choose from! There were ice cream popsicles as well as the ice cream in tubs and bunch of other things on the menu. I got the pistachio popsicle and it was amazing.
