My fiancé and I visited The Funnel House on Saturday, May 9, 2026, and the morning crew was so incredibly kind and phenomenal! While it was bittersweet being back in the area from the grief of it all, the morning crew made it an extra sweet experience with their customer service and kindness. The apple funnel cake we got was so delicious and had a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. What an amazing establishment, and I'm so happy it's been a stable sweet spot in the area. The first time was out of curiosity a few months back. I was visiting a bookshop across the street with a friend when I happened upon Hug Life. The clerk was so nice. Even when my friend and I explained that we weren't going to order anything at the moment, he still let us try some flavors. We returned later that night after dinner. I was able to order a single, half-and-half of cookies & cream and cookie butter for myself and Reese's Pieces to go for my hubs. I brought my husband for the first time today.
