Cute little café spot in downtown Long Beach, though I'll start by saying parking isn't great since it's all street parking--but that's not really on them. The place itself is super charming. There are a bunch of fun snacks and little trinkets to browse before you even order, which I honestly loved. That said, the layout is a bit... interesting. The space is actually pretty big, but it feels like about 2/3 of it is dedicated to the kitchen, leaving only a small portion for the shop and seating. There are only about four tables, and each one comfortably fits maybe three people at best. I went with my girlfriend and two friends, and we basically had to take up two tables just to make it work. I ordered the Sunset Strawberry Lemonade with boba and lychee jelly, and my girlfriend got the Nutty Caramel Banana Split. Unfortunately, my drink was completely ruined by the boba. It was undercooked--hard in the center with this weird slimy exterior--and it made the whole drink so unpleasant that I ended up throwing it away. From what I could taste, the actual strawberry lemonade itself was fine, pretty standard, and probably would've been enjoyable if not for the boba. BUT--the brown butter toffee ice cream in the banana split? That was the real star. It was genuinely so good that even as someone who doesn't like bananas, I found myself wanting to just order the ice cream on its own next time. Overall, I'd come back for the ice cream if I were in the area again, but I'd probably just get it to-go rather than try to sit inside.
One star removed because service was poor today. She greeted me when I walked into in but didn't ask me what can she get for me you know the usual. Instead she walked towards the back and kept doing whatever she was doing. Then I start ordering and she looks at me like pretending she didn't hear me. Then she says what can I get for you...? I repeat my order and then she doesn't even say can I get anything else just walks away after I pay. Then she takes long making the drink & I'm the only customer there and she's the only worker there. When she gives me the drink she doesn't say anything and I loudly said THANK YOU! Like dude it's not my fault. You're miserable at your job in the summer. You'd probably rather be at the beach. I get it that you might be having a bad day, but don't be rude to customers.
I used to go to the Snow Monster in Westminster as a kid until they closed. Since then, they've rebranded to Mini Monster but still sell the same stuff! We drove down to Long Beach to get it again after many years and I ordered the same thing I used to: Strawberry Sunset Lemonade & Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich. We chose vanilla ice cream, which was much better than I remember it tasting. The flavor is very distinct vanilla and standout, which I really liked. We got the strawberry macaron cookies on the side and they were a bit smaller than before, but just as good. I wish they sold the cookies separately, as I would buy a ton! The sunset lemonade was okay, I feel like it didn't have as much flavor as the location in Anaheim, but it wasn't bad either. Overall, I really enjoyed everything and it was pretty nostalgic! The store itself is really clean and nicely decorated, with its inside being almost like a loft. Service was really fast and straightforward, and there are about 4 tables to sit at inside. It's located on a street with very little to no parking, so I would recommend turning down into a side street and hoping for parking there. There is no designated parking lot.

My mother hates macarons but loves them from here. So that's saying a lot. Now they have things like banana splits and tea flights?!?! Whaaaat!!! The shop is so cute It has seating I love seeing this place adding things and getting more popular In fact, while we were here Greg was talking to us about how they are trying to perfect another menu item to add (Flan) they also have some seasonal items I have seen the gorgeous tea flights on social media. And today was my lucky day. I came here with someone else who is obsessed with flights. They have 3 different ones! So we had to order each one The - matcha flight The-milk tea flight The -island glow flight (this one was probably my favorite and I loved how it was presented) Matcha flight- matcha latte, banana matcha and strawberry matcha (for me not being a matcha fan I thought these were really good. Especially the banana matcha) Milk tea flight -jasmine milk tea, honey milk tea and signature thai tea Island glow flight-sunset strawberry lemonade, peach tea and fresh thai coconut water I also ordered an ice cream sandwich (you pick the flavor of ice cream and pick the flavor of macarons you want) I picked coffee ice cream and fruity pebble macarons (don't question it, it totally goes together and it's delicious) I REALLLLLLLY wanted a banana split but unfortunately they were out of bananas (it was a Saturday and we got there as soon as it opened at 11 am) And I ordered a milk tea with boba in their boba bear reusable glass cup topped with cotton candy. When we were leaving Greg was actually extremely nice and went above and beyond and he knew the lid of my cup was sticky from having the cotton candy on top. So he asked if I wanted the lid cleaned. This place is also big on sustainability when it comes to the environment. They have a whole shelf of reusable straws for purchase (they are actually a very good price. I recommend the metal ones) They still have the huge glass cups (the big mason jars size boba bears) you can buy and then have them refilled for a certain price. I highly recommend popping in for a quick drink to go or staying for the beautiful tea flights Prices are extremely reasonable And I'll just come out and say it. Staff here is amazing. So please don't forget gratuity The only downfall is now they have such a big menu it's impossible to know what to order. Everything is delicious. Came for boba after dinner and enjoyed the quality of the boba. I got the matcha latte with banana custard which was delicious (taste like nilla wafers). They were quick to make drinks, and the inside was very cute they sell knick-knacks. Beware this place has no parking lot so street parking in neighborhood. It gets bad at night so uber or walk if possible. read more

Ohhhhemmmgeeeee not only is this place super cute and has cute knickknacks and treats, but the boba tastes amazing! I am a stickler for boba and as soon as I got some in my drink I was very much satisfied. It was cooked just right, super chewy and not too sweet. The place was busy for a Wednesday afternoon, especially midday but the drinks came out within a reasonable time right after we ordered. No lyrical intro or catchy rhymes but just the straight up facts! You best believe when Eye tell you this is the best presentation for drink flights I've ever seen! Besides that, this place is suuuper cute and a bunch of eye catching little knick knacks one can purchase. But yeah let me get down to it. We ordered all three of their flights which were the Matcha, Milk Tea and the Refresher. Personally I enjoyed all of them but my favorite was the Milk Teas which came with a price since I'm lactose but it was so worth it. Again, the presentation was so so beautiful and would totally get them again for sure. We also ordered the Ice Cream Flan and Ice Cream Coffee Sandwich with a side of the Cotton Candy Boba. Yeah, I'm sure you know we came out of there in a sugar high. Again, totally worth it and the service was spot on. On that note, shoutout to Greg! We decided to try to place our on our way home. We were lost at what to get and the friendly worker, Zarell suggested a couple flavors. We tried two Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich: Monster Mash Ice Cream with churro Macaroon. The Monster Mash is Blue Vanilla with cookie dough. It's sweet, but not overly sweet. The texture of the macaroon is chewy and light. It's not hard on the outside and goes good with the ice cream. My kid rate it as 9.5 The second MIC we tried was the Brown Butter and Coffee Ice Cream with an Oreo Macaron. Zarell said this was a good one and she didn't lie about it. It really tasted like the Brown butter you eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory, but it's Ice Cream!! The were less hints of coffee but you could taste it. The Oreo Macaroon was also chewy and soft. My ice cream has been sitting there where I write this review and it has not fallen apart. I even took half out because I just wanted the Macaron. There are little things they sell here. Charms, Stickers, Various Snacks, Drinks, Hats, Jewlery, Drinking Cups, etc.. it's kind of a little store within a store. Past the registers it's closed off, but there's an upstairs where they could possible turn into something in the future. As for sitting arrangements, there's a long sofa with plug in sockets so you can charge your electronic devices while working on your laptop or chatting with friends. There are two round tables with benches and three round tables along the sofa. Would I come here to chill, maybe on off hours, but it does get busy. Would I recommend coming to try their ice cream and Macaron? Definitely yes. We will come back to try other stuff too. Thanks Karen for the to go Macaron and Brown Butter Triple Chocolate cookie! It's been a while since my family has been back here, so we stopped by for some drinks. My daughter ordered the cookies and cream milkshake, my husband ordered a Taro milk tea and I was super excited to order their Taro Coco Smoothie in a Coconut Shell. When it was ready, all drinks but no coconut shell. I had to ask the cashier that took my order if she got it down correctly and she was confused as to why it wasn't in a shell herself. The person that made the drink just nonchalantly mentioned that they were out of it so they gave me a 24 oz. instead of a 16 oz. It was nice that they upgraded my drink but it would have been better if they actually communicated that to me beforehand that they were out of coconuts. Aside from that, ambience is nice inside. They also have foreign snacks you can purchase as well as different merch. Drinks were tasty too, just didn't appreciate the lack of communication and nonchalantness mentioning they were out of something. read more
