    Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp
    Maya D.

I came here on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. The restaurant has a cozy and relaxing vibe. There was only one waiter at the time. She was friendly but I felt like she was moving at a leisurely pace. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It was probably the best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The portion size was big enough to split with another person. I also ordered a dessert crepe. The wait for the dessert crepe almost made it not worth it. It took way longer than it needed to be imo. The crepe itself was prepared nicely. They gave a healthy portion of fruit but the mango didn't seem that fresh. The food is really good, but the wait time is brutal.

This place is located in a high traffic area so parking can be hard to find. If you're unable to find street parking, there are parking structures/lots available for a flat price. The restaurant is rather small with various seating options and in addition to that, there's outdoor seating as well. No shade available on a sunny day so do keep that in mind. Our party was a party of 10, 8 adult and 2 children. Since there's limited seating, our only option was outdoor seating. Service is rather slow. We asked for highchairs twice and water at least 3 times. We didn't get water initially because they forgot, then they ran out of clean glass, and we didn't get our water until we were basically done with our meal. I got a panini and it came with a side of salad and sliced potato and cheese square. I wasn't a huge fan of that potato cheese since it was too heavy on the cheese flavor. I also got a glass of champagne I think. Overall, the food was decent but service is rather sub par.

Definitely my favorite brunch spot I always have to visit before I leave Long Beach. It almost feels like tradition for me to go here, I have always enjoyed the food here and have always had good service. A very quiant cafe that has indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu ranges from cafe style breakfast to even pasta and dessert, which has so many options to choose from. I have always returned to try the crab cake benedict, I feel like anytime I'm in Long Beach I just have to have something seafood. A nice savory meal that comes with a side salad and a casserole. I definitely will leave space to have their dessert crepes. This time I tried their cookie butter crepe and that was so delightful. Definitely a place I will continue to go to when I'm in the area. It's just a perfect spot for brunch thats away from the loud downtown area but still in a walkable distance.

Pasta Carbonara, delicious! Huge portion, plenty of bacon & ham.

I am definitely returning to try more of their menu. It was hard to decide what I wanted, because everything looked so appetizing. The pasta carbonara was so delicious! There was plenty of bacon and ham which is hard to come across in other restaurants. My boyfriend very much enjoyed his chicken Dijon plate and really enjoyed the potatoes that came with it. The chestnut latte was very yummy. The spread along the rim was addicting. He enjoyed his crepe as well. I did like the whip cream for the Belgian waffle, but I'll probably get a crepe next time too. Service was superb! Everyone from the waitresses to the kitchen staff were all friendly and seemed happy to be there. They were kind to each other and of course the customers as well, but it's always nice to see employees happily helping each other & keeping a good flow in the restaurant. Our very kind waitress went above and beyond just taking orders, she really made us feel like she was glad that customers were there. We felt welcomed to take our time. We sat on the couch so it was a very enjoyable experience. Thursdays are dinner specials and Wednesday you can bring your own wines with no corkage fee. The atmosphere there is wonderful to bring friends and family to chat. There is outdoor seating too but inside is wonderfully cozy.

We spent the night downtown, waiting on our cruise and walk the two blocks over to this quaint little restaurant based on great reviews. This is a great mom and pop café with even better service. They were friendly and quick to get our drinks and help us ordering. I had the omelette which was cooked perfectly and seasoned even better. My wife had the French Benedict and raved about it. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and nothing is warmed up. It all came out piping hot. I saved enough room to try the fruit crêpe and I'm so glad I did. That was one of the best crêpes I've ever had in my life.

Pretty good crepe spot. Service was a little slow because only three girls were working but they were nice. I got the hot wine and it was warm and comforting, tasted just like fall. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I got the spicy lamb sausage with my breakfast and it wasn't my thing. Tasted a little too gamey for my liking. Everything else was delicious though, including the savory crepe. Inside is quiet and clean too.

Stumbled upon this breakfast spot and dang wish I'd made a stop sooner. I would always pass by and say one of these days. They have outdoor seating but since it was raining I sat inside. It's very quaint, they have bar seating, couch seating and regular tables. I ordered a savory spinach and egg crepe served with a mini side salad with Caesar dressing, so good! I forgot to take a picture I just dug right in. Delicious in every way. To drink I had just a basic coffee but how cute it's served with a side of frothy milk in these little mini milk jugs. Can't wait to go back and try a sweet crepe!

Let's get all the good stuff out of the way Such a cute corner restaurant. Plenty of free street parking on the weekends. This is my first time here and upon walking in I love the warm ambience of the restaurant. I was a bit early, but they seated me for a table as I've waited for my family. I enjoyed the caramel latte while waiting for the family. The restaurant did get busy, almost every table inside was filled. There were a few people even sitting on the sofa. I see a few tables out on the streets also filled. My family arrived, we had a few minutes to look over the menu, and then we ordered. I drinks and coffee came out. And then we waited, and waited, and waited. Upon checking with the waitress the first time she said, our food was on its way. About 10 minutes later checked with another waitress about our order, for items, she told us that our waitress did not put in our order originally. Very disappointing. I understand and see the restaurant is busy, but to not put in our orders at all, that is very disappointing. Our kids had to drive to San Diego so we ate fairly quickly so they can leave. Upon getting the bill, and waiting over 25 minutes for our food. Nothing was deducted nothing was comped. The only thing said to us was apologies for the food being late. Started out as a nice morning. Had a disappointing overall experience here. Not a great impression for a first time.

This fabulous little French restaurant is a must, and perfect for crepes; regular or GF! Crème De La Crepe is a small little chain in the LA area. It captures all the essence and charm of a little cafe in France. The Long Beach location is comfortable and quaint. The subtle French music, simple tables, and beautiful Parisian decor, make you want to take your time to enjoy a little sweet or savory something. My server was so nice, the meal quick and tasty, and the cafe spotless! I paid quickly, but never felt rushed at all. I ordered the gluten free Farmer's crepe. It was huge! Served with a small side salad it was incredibly delicious and fresh. Parking is just right there on the street, and depending on the time of day, it is metered, but its corner location is easy to spot and access. I've tried several French bakeries/patisseries/cafes that offer something GF all over the South Bay/LA area, and they have all been very disappointing. They are usually rude, overpriced, and have very few GF offerings. Crème De La Crepe is a 5 star winner, and even my friend, who's from France, loves this place. That says something! With their nicely sized menu, specials, and coffees, there is something for just about everyone, any time of day. I'll be coming back again, and again, and again, until I've eaten my way through their GF menu; then I'll be back for seconds. ;)

After dinner, we decided to try one of their crepes. It was super light and not too heavy, and the melted chocolate wasn't overly sweet. It went really well with the bananas and strawberries we picked. The vibe there was really nice too!

We are here visiting from Reno. My wife has a gluten allergy so we were looking for a place that could accommodate that. Ready for breakfast, we took a short walk from our hotel to Creme De La Crepe. I would have to say the food was amazing! My wife had the Alleshante, which apparently she really liked. Daughter had the French toast and cleaned her plate. I went with the smoked salmon hash. The food was absolutely amazing! The service was also very good. Our server Allison was very attentive and pleasant. We didn't wait long at all for our food. This place is definitely a hidden gem and we will be back again.

Was sat down immediately after arriving. The menu had both lunch and breakfast but I was having a late breakfast around 11am. We got to sit outside and see all the pet parents walking their adorable pets! A group sat next to us with two dogs. A lot of people would be against eating next to animals but I personally have pets so it wasn't anything to out of the ordinary for me. The food was delicious and I'm so happy I got breakfast- I was left satisfied! Hope to come back for lunch soon.

    St Pierre sweet seafood crepes
    Sue H.

Loved this little creperie by our vacation condo in Long Beach! We stopped for a patio lunch and had a lovely time in Paris. From the cute classic striped tee wait staff uniforms and berets, to the friendly helpful service... it was awesome. Sampling a sweet and a savory lunch crepe, his and had the sweet crepe with savory fillings in the St Pierre and I ordered the savory Parisienne buckwheat crepes. The St Pierre is a seafood crepe with shrimp, crab, tomatoes and peppers in a sweet crepe. It was fully and quickly devoured. My savory buckwheat crepe was so delicious, with a creamy Swiss and mushroom base all saucy inside, and generous chunks of chicken. I couldn't finish but took it home and had it for breakfast the next day. Side salads were good too, but wow those crepes. Missing it already!

We could smell the curry broth coming from the kitchen before they arrived and immediately knew we had made the right choice. Located off the fun Retro Row on Fourth St. with the last Friday event happening, we noticed a good amount of people walking in and there was a security guard out front. The crowd was lively so it must be good. First off, I was totally surprised about this place. It's a pretty nice spot. There's the main bar right along one wall that offered both wine and beer. There was also a corner that hosted a live band. When we arrived, no one was playing yet. The crowd seemed to be more of the younger hipster vibe. A completely different crowd from the LA scenes. Getting a drink wasn't that bad even though it was busy. I happened to get lucky when someone moved from the bar stool for me to approach. I was a little surprised when the wine I ordered was in a box...lol... I mean, it was whatever. Some options were for a glass only or for both a glass or bottle. But when it came to checking out, tipping options went from 20 25 percent to 30 percent. Wasn't used to that as an option as it's not like you're dinning in. Anyway, the surprise was when we walked out and seen that they had a massive back patio. It was hard finding a seat as it was packed. There was also a food trunk on deck but wasn't sure what they were serving. We noticed people with hotdogs and someone with a box of pizza. Not sure if it's from the vendor or if you're allowed outside food in. The vibe was fun, the crowd was lively and everyone there for a good time. It's more of a younger scene. It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

There's a small patio right infront of the main area inside. Their wine selection was quite impressive. So much things to choose from. Not only wine, but they also have beer on tap available. I stopped in half an hour before they closed and it was still pretty busy. They have a tasting menu is you were into sampling some wine. What was offered for the tasting menu was quite nice. I think there's only a flight of 3 and the selection was quite nice. One was bold which was really nice. Also, the beer on tap was great. I believe that you could be members of the place as we noticed the orders for pickup. It's quite a nice cool spot for tasting. The main bar area was nice, service was great and friendly. Seemed more like all the locals and members. Quite an impressive selection of wine for purchase.

Sala Coffee & Wine Bar in Long Beach is so cute, like dangerously cute. I came for a book club…read moreevent and only got a coffee this time, which feels very responsible of me, but also... I already know I need to come back for food and wine. Obviously. The vibe was cozy, the staff was super friendly, and it just felt like the kind of place where you bring a book, romanticize your life, and accidentally stay way longer than planned. Coffee, wine, books, cute little atmosphere? Honestly, they knew exactly what they were doing. Five stars. I will be returning, probably with a book and my friend

Hmm, going over the other one star reviews, I can notice a common theme…read more Really weird experience here. First it's 7:30pm, planned on ordering a matcha and the person at the register informed me that there was "No coffee or tea after 4pm" so I choose to order a non alcoholic beverage and maybe something to eat and cashier or owner, whoever this person was tells me if I plan to work because it becomes a "laptop free zone" after 4pm. Odd behavior to tell someone what they can and can't do at an establishment considering it's called a coffee AND wine bar. Maybe this is something to advertise on your yelp and website but a "laptop free zone" after 4pm is pretty ridiculous for potential customers who were just looking to eat and work. I almost feel like he just told me that because I was going to order a salad and a non alcoholic beverage and wasn't planning on ordering much. As the other 1 star reviews mention "pretentious behavior" so it's either the cashier or whoever it was is plowing pretentious as others mentioned or RACIST... Kinda odd to dictate what I do on my own accord while I'm a patron at your establishment. If I ordered food and a drink but chose to open my laptop, are you going to ask me to leave? Doesn't really seem customer centric. I've worked at restaurants before. Considering this is not a club, there's no live music and there were only 3 people sitting in there, I think I would have been fine to sit there quietly in a corner with my laptop. 1 star for the experience and weird behavior like I said either pretentious or racist but weird behavior nonetheless.

It's a nice spot located in Belmont shore. It's very clean and spacious on the inside with couch seating along with tables and chairs. It isn't loud but they did have some music playing. It's a good spot to chill at with family and or friends for a few glasses of wine. It's also a cool spot for a nice intimate date. Had the pleasure of tasting 4 different wines; 2 whites and 2 reds. I enjoyed the wines. You can bring your own snacks and charcuterie board. The hostess was very knowledgeable of the wines, sharing backstories of where and how they were produced. It was a good learning experience also.

When we arrived we were told there was no chef so only a few items could be made from the menu. I chose a flatbread but was then told they had no gluten free bread. So we had to get the charcuterie which was so small and cost $30. Really ridiculous price for something with a few pieces of meat, cheese, grapes and nuts. The wine was good, and the tastings were generous and I know it is a wine bar but the day was really spoiled by not having a lunch there. I don't think I would go there again. If you do make sure they have a chef before you go if you want to eat.
